[I'm sorry if I don't have the greatest intro. I haven't done wolf roleplays a lot before && this is an intro off the top of my head.]
Her pelt was that of a swan's delicate, suave feather. Crystalline blue eyes accompanied her coat, peeking out with their brilliant gaze at her surroundings. A relatively bushy tail trailed along the ground, puffed up slightly against the cold. It wasn't quite the winter time yet, but the seasons were in the middle of their transitioning, teetering back and forth so that one day, the air would have a slight winter nip in it while other days, the sunshine would stream brightly across the whole land.
Although she wasn't a pup, she had a rather petite frame. It was elegant and she quite easily managed to be graceful, but there were times when even she could fall. Well, that was simply normal -- all creatures on earth had to have at least a slight bit of clumsiness in them. You were a robot if you didn't.
Her tough, leathery paws were durable and obviously made to last. One would have thought that one so dainty as her would shatter apart into millions of pieces on impact with tough terrain, but in truth, she managed to trudge on no matter what. When times got extremely rough, she would tap into her inner strength to keep her going on. It wasn't always easy to do so, but she managed anyway.
Currently, the wolf was sitting at the edge of a field, eyes waving their gaze across the open land in front of her. Perhaps a bird or another type of prey would be stupid enough to go out into the open. Suddenly, she saw a rabbit hobble out. Quickly and with agility, the wolf darted forward, alert and eager for a meal. Her paws moved quickly and in a few lithe movements, she had made her way to a few feet behind the rabbit. Sniffing the air, the wolf was glad when she found that she was upwind from the rabbit.
Creeping closer, the wolf put her weight on her haunches and sprang forward, landing lightly and easily on top of the prey. While the rabbit feebly struggled, the wolf leaned down and bit the creature's neck swiftly to put it out of its misery.
Settling down with the rabbit in front of her, she sat there and waited for someone else to come. She would share with him and then they would stay here a while until they were eventually driven out by cold or perhaps by other wolves or creatures.
Sooner or later, the white wolf was accompanied by another one whose coat was so different from the female wolf's that it nearly hurt your eyes to look at the contrast between their pelts. While the female wolf was obviously white, the other wolf was a pure black -- as black as midnight, you could say. Dark brown eyes looked around fearlessly as he made his way to the white wolf, his muscles rippling underneath his fur with each step he took.
Although it was tedious work to navigate around these areas, the black wolf had a nearly impeccable sense of smell and could track things down easily. It had taken him only a few moments to recognize the scent of his sister -- the white wolf -- who was next to a rabbit.
The ebony wolf's mouth watered as he neared his sister, catching sight of the rabbit. He eventually reached her and settled down next to her. They glanced at each other before digging in. While the ivory pelted wolf ate in small, dainty bites, the dark colored wolf swallowed the meat in large, ravenous gulps.
"You pig," the female wolf teased the black one, amusement passing through her blue eyes as she used her smooth, honey sounding voice. She watched him as he tossed his head in mock indignation. Well, that was her brother for you -- always trying to be impressive and a show off, but she still loved him anyway.
"Who said you had to be oh so conservative?" he answered evenly as he watched his sister. She was a pretty sort, but if she were ever to take a mate, he'd have to first hand figure out what that male wolf would want from his sister. "As long as you're still slender, I think you're all right," he told his sister, acting unsensitive.
Well, it was a lot like this. Brother and sister always teased each other, but at the end of the day, they both loved each other equally as kin should. The white wolf was a quiet sort who didn't like to push her nose into things while her brother was a bit more rambunctious and social. The two could easily be contrasted in many ways but they were kin and that was that.
There were many different names that were possible for both of them, but both favored their current name. The female wolf, which had a slender, elegant build and was rather shy, went by the name of Amiya. Her brother on the other hand, who was protective and muscular, was called Caelan.

A large male wolf stood staring out at his pack’s lands, his eyes not missing a single detail. He stood on a slightly elevated rock on the side of one of the many mountains that surrounded the pack’s lands, and could see for miles. Down below, his pack sat, stood, layed, played or fought, and he could smell the scent of the fresh new kill they had made the night before. His eyes strayed past the pack, towards the trees, then furthur, to the gap in the great pines where he knew the river lay. And past that, was more trees, although there were a few gaps between the trees on that side of the river and this, showing where the streams lay.
The large male looked slightly larger than most of his breed, but that came of having two fairly strong and fairly large parents. He was his breed’s standard gray, if not standard in size. His pelt was soft gray beneath darker gray, and sometimes black flecks. The male’s belly, chest, and legs were off-white, and his chin, and cheeks were the same color as his belly. The rest of his face was as his body, except the slightly lighter (but not a light as his under-belly) circles around his peircing amber eyes.
With the male’s size came strength, with which he had used to climb up the pack herarchy until he had reached his current position. Alpha male. He had fought many battles, earned many scars, and he had won in the end. He ruled over his pack determindly and protected his rank fiercly. He wore his tail like a banner, demanded obediance, and feared no wolf. He was strong, and he was sure of himself. He was Huritt.
And he was bored. Why was nothing happening? He wanted something to do, but it was just too calm right now. Figuring nothing would happen without his say so- he was alpha male after all- he stood. A young female below watched him as he threw back his head and howled.
The female listened intently to the howl. It was a calling howl, although she wasn't sure what the male was calling to. Huritt hadn't made much sense to the female, even when they had been pups snuggled next to each other, pressed against their mother's warm belly.
The female was much like her brother, although she was slightly smaller. They had the same pelts though, of course with a few differences. The white on her belly didn't travel all the way up to her face. Instead it stopped just under her chin, almost aligned with where her neck met her head. Her eyes were different, too. Unlike her brother's amber eyes, the female's eyes were blue, something she had inherited from her mom, like Huritt had inherited his amber eyes from their father.
The female's name was Awentia, and although her brother was alpha male, she was in no way high up in the pack. She wasn't at the bottom either. She was more towards the middle of the hierarchy. Not super powerful, not super weak. Just right she figured. She had no problem with lowering her tail, and she had no problem growling at a subordinate.
As well as looking different than her brother, Awentia was more laid back and easy-going. That didn't mean she didn't get angry every once in a while. What kind of creature didn't get angry? A strange one, the young female felt.
Awentia watched as her brother sat down again, then turned her eyes away, as bored as he was.

Caelan pricked his ears as the sound of a howl drifted about. He looked up instantly, his eyes and mind intent on figuring out the source of the howl. Lifting his nose, the wind carried the scent of other wolves to him. Excitedly, he looked at Amiya, his tail twitching back and forth with anticipation of finally being able to converse with more of their kind. "Let's go and meet them!" he suggested eagerly, nearly leaping up and down with eagerness.
Amiya looked at him and shook her head, rolling her eyes at the way her brother acted. He could act the part of a fool quite well sometimes. "You're forgetting what other wolves have done to us in the past," she reminded him, her mind flickering back to the memories of wolves who had been bloodthirsty and had chased them off of their territory. That was partially where she got her agility from -- running away from creatures that pursued her.
"Well," Caelan began mildly, "maybe these wolves aren't as bad." He looked at his sister, tilting his head to the side in thought. "Come /on/, Amiya! You're such a scaredy-wolf!" he teased her. "They won't do anything to harm us, I bet you."
"That's what you /always/ say, Caelan," Amiya responded to her brother, shaking her head in dismay at the fact that she couldn't get him to understand what she met. "And every single time you say that, I give you my consent and then we go and get ourselves chased away and we have to find a new place to settle for a few days!" she told him.
"Well..." Caelan began hesitantly, not knowing how to respond to his sister's defensiveness. "I'll tell you what, Amiya. If they chase us out, I'll promise that we won't approach any other wolves after this incident," he told her. "Agreed?"
Amiya heaved a mental sigh at her brother's persistence. "Fine," she responded tartly, beginning to pad away towards where the sound had emitted from. "But if they do attack us, they're taking your pelt first!"
Caelan's eyes glimmered with amusement as he called out, "Race you there!" to his sister and streaked off with Amiya in hot pursuit.

Amiya followed Caelan, although he soon got them pacing around in circles. She heaved a mental sigh before she looked at him. "You didn't pay attention when we were taught how to track scents, did you?" she asked him, shaking her head at her brother's ignorance.
"Here's how you do it," she told him, putting her nose on the ground. She veered in a sharp right turn before she finally got onto the correct scent trail. She pricked up her ears as she felt she got closer, seeing if she could pick up any sound of the other wolves.
"Remember," Amiya reminded Caelan, "if they show any signs of hostility, we /run/ as fast as we can." She continued tracking them down, watching up ahead and hoping that the wolves wouldn't be too protective of their territory.
"Yeah, yeah, Amiya, I know," Caelan answered nonchalantly as he followed his sister. He was a bit more ruthless than her, always jumping into situations and usually relying on Amiya to bail him out one way or another.
Amiya paused for a moment and looked around. Suddenly, she saw a glimpse of fur. Following the glimpse, her eyes soon traced out the figure of a wolf. "There they are," she breathed softly, looking at her brother and praying that he wouldn't do anything foolish.
Her prayers weren't answered; Amiya looked in horror as Caelan raised his head and pursed his mouth in an 'O' shape. She winced as a howl sounded from his vocal chords, obviously trying to greet the other wolves.

By the weather patterns, the days were beginning to grow shorter, and the winds more harsh and cold. The elk were not scarce, and in fact, rather plentiful in some parts. However, where she stood, the boundaries of the hunting grounds grew slim, and now as she crossed into neutral territory, eased herself to a steady lope. Golden eyes flickered forwards, locked onto the perpetual hope of finding or starting a pack. But in these parts, she would be fortunate to find one male wolf.
This day was new, and her expectations in her years were wronged by the fertilizer of life.
Light silver coat slicked back by the placid winds, small rounded ears pricked forwards in a neutral and calm state, Martha kept moving forwards. Soon she came to a territory mark, dipping her thick muzzle downwards and inhaling a quick sniff.
Male, Alpha; "Our Territory"
Lifting her large head back upwards, the strong she-wolf blinked in perfect timing to the echo of a calling howl. She continued onwards. Large paws cloaked in musty white, underbelly dappled in cream hues, the famous inherited 'wolf-stripe' of dark ebony ran from the edges of her soft cheek fur, lining her broad shoulders, spine, haunches, and finally ending as a ivory tip at the end of her long tail. While these inherited and common marks were placed boldly along her thick body, the rest of her coat was enveloped in a light silver, near-white, and topping the ridge of her muzzle with a light tan-hue.
Golden eyes dilated curiously at the sight of four wolves, one pair approaching them with a hesitant air. Lowering her head, she squared her thickly-bound shoulders, her large body shifting into a strong, defensive position. Martha eyed the two pairs, breathing in their faint scents that suggested that the pair approaching were kin, as well as the pair standing strong and dominantly; the alpha male she had spotted quickly from his tail's posture.
Having been a lone wolf all her life, Martha new well the signs of dominance and submition from having defended several territories of her own. At the fertile and experienced age of four, the lightly-coated she-wolf new she would be a strong addition to this pack--if she were to step further into the boundaries.
With this thought in mind, she trotted a few yards closer to the dominant siblings, however was still a good quarter mile from where they actually stood. Tilting her large skull to the side, Martha slowly brought her powerful neck downwards, and thrust it up with parted jaws, releasing a harmonizing, communicating howl.

Must keep moving… moving…. moving. The forest was dark, light flicking through the trees every so often to call upon the creature that slithered swiftly through the forest foliage below. It was too rash, too rash indeed. Giant ears swiveled backward to listen for the sound of pursuit, when nothing came after several heartbeats the largely muscular creature snorted in irritation. “A bunch of yellow-bellied cowards” it muttered ungracefully, the little light from the sky caught the creature off guard as it stepped into it on accident. One look and one could see he was a wolf, ears standing up straight now and emerald eyes smoldering with unspoken thoughts. He growled and leapt forward, his long legs propelling himself without its usual elegance. He glanced at the sky, as little snowflakes began to fall, after a moment one landed on his black nose. It quickly began to melt, beginning to gleam and sparkle. Like a tear, it slipped off the rubbery black surface and fell into the ivory sea he was trending in. Once it landed it sunk into its brethren and the crystalline drop made a small dark spot. Lifting a massive grey paw he continued to move forward, the large wolf had a gash on his foreleg that he paid no attention too even though crimson liquid fell to the ground every so often. How I did such a thing, the heavens above don’t even know, he thought. After a while of silence he lifted his maw, then hesitated. Would he really be helpless enough to actually call on another seldom warrior? Shaking his head in arrogance he move onward, searing pain crawling up his leg. The wolf found a small tree and padded underneath it to rest his aching paws. Sighing he cleaned his wound up as best as he could and rubbed on some cobweb, in his travels he had learned many ways to care for one’s injury. As he strode out into the heavy snow once again, a memory of a beautiful wolf filled his mind. Her pelt was silky and her ocean blue eyes bright, she was calling ‘Lobo.’ He shook his head and growled, no more of this. He had given up his original name of Lobo to El Diablo. He did have a non-Spanish name too, Phantom. He mostly spoke the tongue of Spanish since that was what ran in his veins though. There must be one soul here in this place, he peered cautiously through the thick undergrowth to see a silver female wolf. Diablo closed his eyes, taking in a breath. The past was finished, now he must focus on the future. He stepped out into the clearing and in front of her, with a great muster of power he dipped his head politely but while doing so he secretly cringed. Not since he lived with his old pack was he kind or polite. Eventually the thought came that he couldn’t live alone for so long. He would start a pack perhaps? He was a strong willed, a fine one he’d make. His thoughts were consumed for a few swift heartbeats before he whisk them back to Martha. {Lobo= Wolf;;; Diablo= Devil;;; El Diablo= The Devil}

Paws pounded the earth slowly as the figure of a wolf came into view out of the light mist that surrounded the ground. She looked aroud through icy blue eyes and saw a couple of wolves, and decided to go over.
She wasn't the talkative one, but it wasn't because she was shy, it was because she had lived alone since her family died and her sister had gone off with an alpha male to another wolf pack. She shivered as a gust of wind ruffled her white-silver fur, but she kept on walking, her gray legs moving quickly under her lithe frame. She walked past a big grey wolf and looked him over, thinking him to be pretty stupid to not check the gash on his leg. She rolled her eyes, thinking how dumb males were, always trying to act tough and not seeing to thier wounds until they got infected.

The shape of a female wolf emerged from the top of the small hill, her obsidian pelt gleaming in the approaching sunlight, her ocean blue eyes bright as she approached a midnight black wolf with handsome brown eyes. Yes, it was obvoius that she was a flirt, but she usually caought tom's eyes, now it was the other way around. She walked up to him, her soft gaze resting upon his muscular body, a small gust of wind carressed the silky fur on her lithe and delicate body.
Her personality was nice, and she usually didn't get too mad, and she wasn't one to toy with emtions, whether they were hers or another wolf's. She was pretty social, and loved to make friends. "Hello," she said to the obsidian wolf, a smile plaing on her lips, her ivory teeth shining in the sunlight. "I'm called by the name of Raya. what would yours be?"

Caelan, out of excitement, did not hear the other wolf's words as he quickly dashed forward, following the scents of other wolves that he could track. He raced forward, his black pelt showing as almost just a blur as he moved quickly in the direction of the scent of more wolves.
Moving forward, he soon came to sight the two wolves. He knew that one of them had sent the howl into the air. Studying them intently before making their acquaintance, Caelan observed the fact that they were both dark gray with lighter gray flecks marking their pelts. "Good day," he greeted them in a polite tone, coming out from behind the forest glades.
Excitement and delight of finding some more company besides Amiya, his sister, out here in the wilderness passed through his eyes as he awaited them to respond to him. He had easily thrown caution to the wnids; Caelan wasn't the type of wolf to get worked up and to wonder and worry about the consequences of his actions. he just knew that he would do certain things and that he would deal with whatever happened as it came along.
--x
Amiya turned as the voice of another wolf came into the surroundings, inquiring about her brother's name. Her ears twitched slightly as she didn't hear her brother's response. Instantly, she looked around. Where was he? Immediately, Amiya pressed her nose to the ground and tried to track her brother's scent. Figuring out which direction he was going in, she saw him bounding off in the direction of where the earlier howl had come from. She had half mind to follow him with her own agility and to stalk him down and bring him back for his rudeness, but she didn't want to just leave this wolf alone without an answer.
"His name's Caelan," Amiya responded in a laid-back sort of tone, although she was frustrated inside for her brother to just dash off without telling her. Who knew what could happen to him in these unknown lands? What if he by accident ran into an alpha of a pack living here and he was chased away? Sure, she herself had a way with herbs in which she could easily heal Caelan's injuries if he acquired any, but she wasn't exactly sure if she would have the patience to.
"Please excuse my brother's behavior," she added to the wolf, dipping her head low for a few moments before lifting it back up. Although Amiya wasn't exactly sure who this wolf was, besides her name, she did like to show respect to everyone as long as they didn't try to hurt her or Caelan. Even though Amiya denied being caring for her brother and oftentimes told him he could just run off and be eaten by a carnivorous creature, she did care for him deep down inside.
A wind passed through the land, shifting the few leaves left on the trees ever so slightly. Despite the fact that there was a chilly tang in the air, Amiya remained reasonably warm since her soft, white pelt was thick and warm for the upcoming cold weather. "And I'm Amiya, if you'd care to know," she added as a final greeting towards the new wolf.

A bit crestfallen that Caelan didn't even notice her, Raya, looked away for amoment, then, her cheerfulness came back "Thanks, and don't worry about it. I just wanted to make friends with him..." Raya trailed off as her eyes drifted again to Amiya's brother, a bit of affetion showing in her eyes. She blinked as she realized that Amiya could realize her feelings for her brother, and looked at her, searching her face for any anger.

Oh great. It was back to this life again; all the female wolves clambering for Caelan's attention while Amiya couldn't make friends with any other females since they were too busy trying to get Caelan to notice them. "All right, I understand how it is," Amiya responded, padding away, a slight gleam of hurt passing through her crystalline sapphire blue eyes as she left the scene. Her normal elegant air that usually hung around her was fairly diminished.
Of course, she should've known it would be like this. Her brother was a handsome wolf; and herself? Well, Caelan oftentimes told her that she was pretty, but that meant nothing to her. He was her brother; he was supposed to say nice things to her every once in a while. Still, Amiya was rather confused. You didn't just fall in love with a wolf when you set eyes on him the first time, did you?
Amiya's fluffy white tail dragged along the ground, surprisingly not picking up any dirt as she moved onward. Her regal head hanged down as she stared at the rich earth, pebbles embedded within its grasp as well as roots of certain plants. Amiya let out a mental sigh of frustration, trying to ignore the feeling within her.

Raya, not being the type of wolf to just chase after toms blindly, walked afted Amiya. "Would you like to be friends?" she asked, her friendly tone returning to her smooth voice. Her gaze darted yet again to Caelen, but she focused it on Amiya. "I bet lot's of wolves chase after your brother. Sorry, I didn't mean to seem like that. I just thought he was a bit like me, and he seemed really nice, I guess I do like him..." Raya trailed off as she looked at Amiya. Would she be angry with her for telling her that she liked her brother. She looked at Amiys apoligeticaly.

Having entered this rather trance-like state of jealousy against her brother, Amiya simply gave a shrug at the other female wolf's words. "I can easily see that you're after my brother; go right ahead. I'm not stopping you," she informed the other wolf in a curt tone, stalking away.
"How can you tell if someone seems nice at first sight?" Amiya murmured to herself softly. It just wasn't a good character trait in her opinion; judging someone by how they looked when you take a first glance at them. She padded off into the forest, not even bothering to search where Caelan was. Eventually they would find each other like they always did, no matter what.

"Wait, I didn't mean...I..I..well, It wasn't suposed to come out like that..." Raya trailed off, thinking it was useless to go chase after her. She didn't have to be jealous of her brother. It wasn't like she couldn't try to make friends with a couple of other females. Raya walked back to Caelan, and introduced herself once more.
"Hi, my name is Raya," she said, not bothering to dip her head too low. She dipped it a bit, and looked at him. Thier pelts were the same color, but thier eyes and frames were different. Her frame was a it smaller, more delicate looking, but nderneath, she was really muscular. His was bigger and more muscular. "And your name would be....?"

"Caelan," the male wolf responded in a short tone. He cast his gaze around the surroundings as he awaited the two gray wolves to respond to his greeting. Where was Amiya? "I wonder where Amiya is," he muttered to himself underneath his breath, looking around for the familiar white pelt covering her dainty and slender frame with small paws moving underneath her frame.
Moving away from Raya so that he was out in the open more, he sent out a special howl for Amiya. It was a howl they had devised together; two short howls followed by a longer one. A long time ago, they had thought up of ways to do certain things such as warn each other of danger or to just tell one another where they were. Some though the idea foolish, but it had stuck and the two kin had used it ever since.
After waiting a few moments without the return of his snow-white pelted sister, Caelan began to wonder and have a slight gleam of concern in his eyes as Amiya still didn't show up. Where was she? He sent out another calling howl. Surely she hadn't forgotten what each howl meant; they had gone over it probably a million times before they had entered this new and unfamiliar wilderness.
