Serendipity, or rather, Sere, moved with graceful and small steps, looking around for a creature that looked particularly desperate to get out of the market. An ivory pelted creature caught her eye. Mystified, she moved closer to the cage. It took a while for her eyes to adjust, but when they did, she held her breath in awe. The snowy white figure inside raised its fine head. Sere's eyes met the equine's, a look of pure amazement passing through her features as she looked into the creature's soft amethyst colored eyes.
Even though the equine looked proud and had her own share of dignity, Sere knew that inside, the creature wanted to be free. Raising her hand with the palm facing towards the snow-white equine, she murmured softly, "I'm not here to hurt you." A smile played on her full lips and a single delicately arched eyebrow went up slowly in surprise as the equine touched its muzzle to her palm gently.
Sere's eyes examined the equine's features. The horn was quite a beauty as were the wings. The whole equine in general was exceedingly exotic, a crosbred between a unicorn and a pegasus -- not just one or the other. She noticed the thin tendrils of ivy that snaked around the equine's features in a pretty manner, giving the creature an earthy look surrounding her.
"I'm Serendipity, but just refer to me as Sere if you want," she whispered softly to the equine. Although most people believed that these creatures were too dumb to understand human language, the intelligent expression written on the equine's face told Sere that she probably understood the English language even better than humans did.
"G'day, lass," a rough voice said behind her. Instantly, Sere turned around to see a large man tapping his foot impatiently on the ground. "You be interested in buyin' this 'ere 'orse?" he asked, a hopeful expression dancing on his face.
"Indeed," Sere answered in a smooth tone of voice, blinking rapidly a few times at the man, her long lashes still framing her eyes in a pretty manner as she looked at him. "How much?" she asked, pausing for a moment to flick her hair in just a certain way. "Mama doesn't want me to stay around here too long," she added, her eyes darting around like a nervous deer's, another thing that usually captured a man's eyes.
"Well, I don't know. This 'ere 'orse is worth a lot; almos' two hundred golden coins, but for a pretty lass like you-" The man hesitated for a moment, his eyes following the gentle flick of Sere's hair. "I'll be lowerin' it to one hundred," he finished.
Sere nodded in response. She took out her purse, remembering the contents that it had contained one hundred and twenty-five golden coins. Counting out twenty-five, she thrust the rest of the coins to the man. "I won't be needing the cage, thank you very much," she said, gesturing towards the equine inside the metal cage.
"All righty, miss," the man responded, unlocking the cage and leading Kerah out. He slipped a halter made out of the same ivy vines that adorned the equine, except it was stronger. Handing Kerah to Sere, he gave her a nod and a smile.
"Thank you," Sere said before taking Kerah's reins made out of ivy. Walking forward a few paces, Sere stopped for a moment to whisper in Kerah's ear, "I know that you're happy you're now free of him, aren't you?" As if to agree, Kerah tossed her head and gave a whinny of defiance towards the man.

Elincia tossed her head around, her beautiful violet eyes glinting. She let out a pitiful meow, her voice rich with an odd accent. Yes, she was a feline but a different type indeed. "Help!" she wailed, her eyes wide as she gazed at the people passing her. "Please help..." her voice trailed away sadly, her pupils narrowing with misery. The person selling her gave her a nasty look, his face twisted in hostility. "Shut up!" he sneered, then gave her cage a kick just like the buyer had though he had gotten yelled at for "harming the item."
The demon kitten cried out as the metal gave her a cut on her soft, delicate pad. She gave it a few gentle licks from her tongue but soon her other demon personailty took control once again. She spat at the seller, "I'll shred you when I'm free!" The seller ignored her fiesty comment for he was use to this. When her demon part took control her words will be sharp though when she isn't angry inside that personailty won't come out. It is fueled by hostility and anger.
Elincia changed again, her sad emotions returning. She saw a young girl ahead with a type of horse creature [Sere]. Her eyes filled with longing. "Meow!" she cried to her, her soft paws bouncing on the cage's floor. A small shimmering puddle of blood was in the back from when her paw was cut. "Mrrow!" she called again, her eyes danced with excitement. The seller hissed at her for silence but she continued to meow only to result in another kick.
[Incase you all haven't noticed when Elincia is using 'words' she is actually just meowing]

Sere continued to lead the white equine about, skirting different people with a delicate and graceful move. "I still don't know your name," she said softly to the equine, looking up into Kerah's amethyst colored eyes. "I already told you that mine was Serendipity, but rather Sere, of course," she added, tilting her head and regarding the creature for a moment.
Suddenly, a sharp movement from Kerah startled Sere. Looking around, she saw a cage containing an odd-looking cat [Elincia]. Moving closer for a look, she ignored the fact of the transformation of the cat and instead focused on the small pool of blood on the floor of the cage. At the sight of this, frustration and anger surged through her. For a moment, she considered slapping the seller of the cat, but soon regained the deameanor that would allow her to purchase the horse quicker -- the flirtatious and innocent look.
"Hello," she said cautiously to the seller, wondering if he would respond to her in a rough manner or if he would speak to her using honeyed words as many male sellers had. Kerah, looking at the cat with a queer look, edged up to the cage and gave the creature a gentle sniff. [/size][/font]

Katalina''s luminous azure gaze cought sight of a creature, whos cage floor was stained with blood. Her eyes grew dull with sadness. She saw another girl there, probably much older than she. She walked over and put her hand out for the demon kitten to sniff. "It's alright, don't worry, I'll get you fixed up", she said sotly to the kitten, her voice sweet and smooth. She turned to the seller, anger suddenly flashing through her eyes.
"Is /this/ how you treat your creatures?!" She asked him, half yelling as she gestured toward the cage, its floor growing crimson red. She took out a puch from around her waits, drawing water out. She swished it through the air and towards the kitten's leg. As it touched her leg, the blooz that was oozing out suddenly stopped. Katalina could heal people's injuries with water.

Elincia watched as Sere bent down to gazed at her but soon her eyes adverted and looked past her to the puddle. The kitten blinked her large violet eyes and forced a soft purr but soon the girl rose and faced the seller and spoke the to gruff, dirty man in the human language. Excitement rose from within and she let out a louder purr but it got choked in her throat once she saw that Kerah leaned down causing her to squeak in fright.
She cowered on the metal floor, her eyes moving over the features of its face until she realized the beautiful horse wasn't going to hurt her. She saw a gentle caress in her movements. After a moment she edged forward and rubbed her head against Kerah. Her silky black fur moving delicately over the creatures face.
"She is 'o 'bout twenty coins" he glanced at Elincia. She knew he dislike her so much, he wanted to get rid of her. Originally he said she costed a thousand gold coins from her rarity but it went down from the past week, so low it was. The adorable black kitten looked at Sere with hope, her eyes twinkling. Her hold body stiffened, would this be her chance for freedom?
The seller glared at Katalina, "if you ain't buyin' go away!" he turned his attention back to Sere for she seemed most interested in exchangement of coins and creatures. While this happened Elincia inspected her covered up wound, she gave it a quick sniff. Strange smelling it was though the bleeding had stopped, a good thing too.

"Twenty coins?" Sere asked, a queer expression mounting on her face as she repeated the sum that was needed to purchase the creature. Only? she thought to herself, but was rather delighted, to tell the truth, at the cheap price. Counting out twenty coins carefully from the fifty that remained, she held them out in her hand. "That enough?" she asked nonchalantly, watching as the cat rubbed against Kerah's muzzle before turning its eyes to gaze at her with a hopeful expression.
Kerah blinked, observing the manner in which the cat moved and all the rest. An interested look crossed her face and she drew her head back, not in disgust or fear, just so that she could see how Sere was doing in the buying of the creature. Kerah's ears picked up the sound of another female nearly yelling at the seller of the cat. Although she didn't understand the words, she did understand the tone of voice that the female was angry. "I'll buy her", Katalina said, her voice suddenly dropping to a soft, sweet tone. She pulled out her purse, taking out thirty coins. "I'll give you thirty for her", she said, sending a glance in Sere's direction.

"Whatever," Sere sighed, pulling gently on Kerah's ivy reins. Although Kerah at first was reluctant to go, she followed her new owner with a sad glance in the transfiguration-like cat. From the way Kerah carried her head, Sere knew that Kerah wasn't too pleased in having to leave the cat behind, but there was only so far her purse could stretch before she would be broke.

Katalina pulled out her purse, paid te man his coins, and took the cage quickly. She hurried over to Sere, and held out the cage, careful not to move it too much so tat the kitten wouldbe rattled around. "Here, you cam have her", se said sadly, knowing that bot the girl and her pegacorn wanted to keep the cat.

Elincia tried hard to keep her balance as Katalina carried her cage. Her wings sore and tired but inside she was bubbling with excitement. After a moment she realized the movement had stopped and she was facing Sere. Behind the tall girl stood the horse creature, the kitten blinked in greeting and gave a small purr of delight.
If only this cage was open then she could fly and twirl. She glanced at one beautiful, feathery purple wing and stretched it though it couldn't go far do to the small cage. Some of the previous blood was still in the corner and was splashing about, Elincia made a note to stay clear of it. Her voilet colored eyes flicked from Sere's face to Katalina, what was happening?

"You sure?" Sere asked, a delicate eyebrows arched in a shape that suggested question in her words. She was unsure if she should take the cat, although she truly did want to the cat -- not for the rarity, but simply to have company. The feathery equine she had purchased earlier also appeared to have taken a liking to the cat. She watched as the snow-white equine eagerly took a few steps to the cat's cage. Giving a nicker in greeting, Kerah lowered her head to look into the cage yet again.

"Sure", Katalina answered, her sweet tone friendly. She brushed back long curly locks fron her face, her eyes fully visible again from under perfectly lengthed bangs. She handed the cage over to Sere. "do you want to be friends?" She asked, finding the older girl somewhat like her. Although Sere was outgoing an flirtatios - unlike Katalina, she did love all the creatured, and equine like ones too.

"Of course," Sere responded nonchalantly. "To start with, though, I'm Serendipity, although it's a lot easier to just call me Sere, as I've learned from the past," she added, introducing herself quickly before grasping the cage containing the cat. "And this here is the... erm... crosbred between a pegasus and a unicorn that I purchased earlier today," she added, giving Kerah a pat on the neck lightly.
