A flighty looking female stepped out from near the cage of the crystalline figurine of the swan. "Sir," she began in a soft and whispery tone, "are you interested in purchasing her?" She shifted uneasily from one leg to the other, awaiting the answer from the young man that stood gazing at the glass swan.

The glass figure of the swan cowered even further into her cage -- if it was possible. She let out a few more notes of shrill alarm, pure terror passing through her eyes as she looked passed the young male with her rainbow-lit eyes and fixed her ammolite formed gaze onto the feline-like creature that striked pure fear into her.
The swan shifted uncomfortably. The man with this feline-like creature liked kind enough, although his eyes were almost electric, how strong their deep blue was. The female standing and peering over the male's shoulder seemed kind as well, but the swan still wasn't sure what to do at all.

The answer that Raiden gave him was one he highly feared, however expected from the sly-tongued panther. Immediately he dropped his eyes, regret falling over him like a dark cloak. The dark-haired young man let out a shaky sigh, aiming his soft voice to the woman who had asked him the question. "No, I don't think I can," Gavin answered quietly.
His hand ached, making his arm flex as a sharp pain pricked him. Glancing down, he saw that the massive brute had clamped his jaws around Gavin's middle and ring finger, a string of blood running from the corner of his enormous jaws. Eyes widened, Gavin caught his breath, locking his brilliant blue eyes upon Raiden's glowing ones, taking in the details of his violet irises and opaque pupils. For the first time, the young man realized how maliciously entrancing and beautiful the mutated panther's eyes were; pupils small and wise, glinting with agony, while three strange, dark markings lay just around his pupil in a ring. He could not break his gaze for a long time.
Gavin swallowed, and as the pain ceased, narrowed his eyes. Why did he do that? His body began to tremble.

Raiden curled his immensely long tail upwards, slowly moving his skull and gently grasping the two longest fingers of his partner's hands with his massive jaws. He glanced upwards, locking his piercing gaze upon Gavin's confused and shocked own.
With pure influence, the obsidian feline pursed a specific emotion through Gavin, the effort taking him little. Raiden did not blink for several minutes, letting the emotion filter through his tortured body and into the agonized and confused one of Gavin. In this, he simultaneously took in his surroundings, watching with a third, invisible eye the group of creatures around him, and the two girls.
