"Sure, you can come with us, if it's alright with Rory, Carrie, and miss Alicia," Tyler said to Camille, smiling at her before turning her head in the direction of Alicia, also smiling at her, then turning his gaze over to Rory and Carrie, realizing that he was now the only male in this group. [No, actually I don't, but maybe it would be nice to have your characters actually in interacting with someone besides only your own.]

[But technically, you /are/. There aren't any other females that don't have males "obsessing" over them that aren't mine. Really, I'm sick and tired of you always trying to get my male to like your female in any type of roleplay. When I say 'no' to something, you just start telling me how to play my own characters. I /know/ how to roleplay, thank you very much.]
"It's fine," Rory responded, a warm smile playing on her lips lingering there for a few moments as she gave her consent, nodding towards the newcomer. With that, she looked on ahead, eager to finally be getting out on the trail ride. With Carrie still being Carrie, Rory shook her head at her friend, but made no attempt to stop Carrie.
Patting Sariae's neck lightly again, Rory gazed forward, having nothing else to do. She didn't exactly want to speak to Carrie now; her best friend was still being immersed in numerous light trills of laughter known as giggles. Strange. Once Carrie got started with giggling, there really was no stopping her -- the only way was to just wait it out -- which sometimes took a very, very long time.
"Carrie says it's fine as well," Rory added in place for her friend, seeing as Carrie couldn't exactly speak currently.

[Blackie, Carrie doesn't have a male obsessing over them, did you ever think of that? And I don't do that all the time, so just shut up about that. And I know you know how to roleplay, and I'm sick and tired of you always treating me like it's my fault. Yeah, sure I started this, but I was just saying what I felt. I'd appreciate it if you stopped treating me like I don't know how to roleplay, and actually have some of your characters actually /acknowledge/ my characters for once instead of having them in their own little world.]

Alicia watched as Drew pulled away from the group, looking somewhat upset, concern entered her brilliant brown eyes. She blinked when Taye had suddenly pecked Rory's cheek then went of after the teenage male, after a silent sigh she realized what was wrong. Drew was upset that Taye was flirting with Rory, boys were easy to figure out from the way they acted and what they would say. Then a thought pulled her in just as Tyler spoke, "yes, I'd me fine with you coming along" she murmured, as usual her voice was soft toned. She continued to think, why did Tyler her call her 'miss' and not the others? Why did he want her to stay so badly when she was going to leave? Her brown eyes sparked with surprise, did Tyler like her? She wondered what had caught his eye.
She reached her hand up and brushed her hair away from her face again, the shrill giggles were erupting from Carrie as though tomorrow would never come. Often when one was laughing extremely hard, other people can't help but laugh too. Alicia smiled instead of laughing with her, amusement glinted in her eyes as she watched Rory's friend, even though she felt slightly awkward to be sitting so close to Tyler after she discovered what he thought. She managed to hide that feeling quite well, though concern was still in her eyes as she glanced back at Drew. She wondered what was going to happen between himself and Taye. Hopefully there wouldn't be anything physical, her father probably wouldn't let her outside for a while and perhaps one of the two boys would get badly hurt.
She glanced in their direction, her hair blowing gently in the breeze.

Tyler wondered if Alicia thought he liked her. Did he? Probably. Yes, he liked her. He wondered if he could tell her sometime. Maybe on the trail. He urged Tao into a trot, his smoothness making Tyler smile.
Camille watched Drew and Taye walking away from the group, a bit of concern coming into her pale sky-blue eyes. A light, warm breeze played with her light brown hair, smoothing the curl-waves of her hair slightly.
Tara [Yes, Raya is now Tara] moved her gaze to the sky, judging by how the light hit her face, that the sun was quickly coming down. "I think we should start heading out now," she said to Carrie and Rory, hearing her brother sigh as Alicia was close to him and was holding on to him.
Looking back quickly to see how far away they were from the group, Tyler slowed Tao to a walk, and turned his head towards Alicia. "Alicia? You probably know this by now, but...I like you," he said rather quickly, blushing as he told her this. He hoped she wouldn't just jump off his horse and never speak to him again. No, Alicia wasn't like that. She wouldn't do that, or at least not because she was angry at him.

[You know what? If you want to blame whatever you're saying on me, go ahead and do so. Yet, I know I'm not all to blame, so don't just go shoving it all in my face. I'm sorry for whatever I did and whatever else I've done. It's been a stressing week with all these god darn Chinese mid-terms {you know I really want to say something else x3} coming up and I've had to wait until tonight to finish my project when it's due tomorrow. If you're not going to accept the apology, then... well, I don't know what else to do. I don't like it when we fight and I know the others don't either, but if you enjoy arguing with me... well, I don't exactly know what to say.]

Rory gave a simple nod in response. Her mind sorted quickly through different subjects that could be used in a conversation. After all, what was a trail ride without a good talk? She was about to open her mouth and ask a question, adressing the whole group, but she saw that one of the males [and the only male] in the group was saying something to a female, looking rather shy as he did so. A smile played on Rory's lips. She wouldn't cut into what they were saying until the girl -- Alicia was her name, wasn't it? -- responded.
She kept quiet, Sariae still moving at a slow pace underneath her. "Good girl," she cooed softly to her mare. Sariae flicked her right ear back towards Rory to show that she had heard and acknowledged her owner's praise. After Rory had given a few more words of praise to Sariae, she felt as if her mare was beginning to grow a little too proud and confident from her owner's good comments; Sariae had a little more prance to her step now.
"Even though you're gentle, you've still got a little something inside of you that enjoys playfulness and flattery, don't you?" Rory asked her mare as if Sariae could understand. There were times when it almost seemed as if the ivory colored Lipizzaner mare could figure out what she was saying -- it was interesting. Equines could be even smarter than humans; who knew?
Tossing her head back a little to let her obisidian colored hair fall back in those faint, slightly intricate ringlets. Her pale violet colored eyes gazed up at the sky, studying the blueness that blanketed the whole world around. She knew that somewhere else in the world, someone else was looking at the exact same sky, although it wouldn't necessarily be the exact same weather.

Carrie watched Rory assume a rather daydreaming pose. She herself had quit giggling, but a smile still played on her lips as she replayed the same thing over and over again in her mind. How she would adore having someone like that doing the same thing to her and she couldn't help but feel a slight bit of envy for her friend. Still, she and Rory had felt feelings like that before towards each other -- jealousy, frustration, even hatred sometimes -- but that usually never got in the way of their friendship. Usually.
Carrie wouldn't hold anything against Rory; it wasn't her friend's fault. Riding along on Calyndar, she let her stallion amble along as fast or slow as he pleased, allowing him to set his own tempo in his pace. From nearby, she heard a string of words being uttered from the single male left in the group. Barely managing to catch them, she deciphered their meaning in her mind. When she did so, she began giggling again, but tried to catch the giggles in her throat so that they didn't come out of her mouth. The result of this was her hiccuping instead of giggling, an alternative.

"What are] you giggling about this time, Carrie?" Camille asked in a joking tone, feeling more comfortable now that there were less people. Papillon [pronounced pap-ee-yon] was lifting her long legs high as she walked, her dappled gray and ivory for shining in the light. She looked over at Tara's horse, then Rory's, seeing the resemblance in their Lippizzaner mares, although Tara's was more calm, but still confident and spirited, while Rory's was spirited and a bit big headed, maybe a bit too confident.
Tara glanced at Carrie, sensing her amusement, at hearing the choked giggle emitting from her. She felt a bit of envy for her brother, seeing as he had found a girl already. Tara wondered if anyone would ever like her in that way, even though she was blind.

"Oh, me? Je ris de Rory," Carrie responded easily and slipping into her French dialect, seeing that the female shared her French ancestry. "I'm laughing at Rory," she translated for the others, the amused look still dancing across her face as she responded so that the others knew what she was talking about as well. She knew that when someone else was speaking in a different language that you didn't know, it often frustrated you when you were trying to listen in. That was what had gotten her interested into studying multiple languages; going to different countries and attempting to pick up a few phrases here and there. Thus, this had allowed her to be fluent in Spanish as well as French. Other languages were on their way to becoming learned and studied by Carrie; in the studying ways, she was extremely ambitious.
Even though everyone here probably knew everyone's names, Carrie felt the urge to do an introduction for herself. "J'mapelle Carrie. Carrie Lafevre," she said with a nod, then asked, "Et vous êtes?" Although Carrie was pretty sure that the female's name was Camille, it would be a good chance for her to learn the name again and perhaps Camille would feel even easier when she spoke to someone who was able to speak her native language.

Rory continued riding a long, a smile still playing lightly on her lips as Sariae moved on in a placid manner underneath her. She didn't exactly talk French, nor had she exactly paid attention to Spanish. Rory wasn't exactly the type for being fluent at foreign languages; she was usually too busy trying to learn the way of Lipizzaner showing.
"Sariae," Rory murmured to her mare, "remember, we've got to get you rearing on command." Sariae flicked her ears in response. "Yes, I know that it's not in your style -- you're extremely mellow tempered and calm, but think about it. Think how awesome you'd look," Rory whispered to her horse in a rather teasing manner, although she nearly did believe it all.

The young female teenager smiled lightly, bewilderment was etched across her mind, how was she supposed to reply? They had only known each other for such a short time period, she barely even knew him. Only his name, his sister, and his horse, embarrassment flushed through her, making her turn her head away only to murmur, "I-I" she struggled vainly for a reply. It was as though she was trapped and couldn't think properly, she studied her hands as she thought franticly. She had never been in something so sudden before.
After a few minutes of letting his words sink in, she had managed to summon enough of her thoughts to form them into the human language. “Tyler, I do like you… but just as a friend” she said politely but willing him to understand, “perhaps, if I’d known you longer, I would feel the same.” She brown eyes searched his face for a sign of aggression or depression; hopefully she hadn’t hurt him in any way. Once she had said the words, she broke her eyes from his, her gaze traveling to the trail and Tao's hooves.

Tyler's face darkened as Alicia said her words. He wished he had never said that he had liked her. How stupid was he? He he should have known she wouldn't like him right away. "Oh. Okay," he said, not much expression in his voice to what he was feeling. He didn't want Alicia to feel guilty about not liking him right away. "I understand." He felt rather sad as Alicia wasn't holding on to him as much as she was before. He sighed, letting Tao get back to the group, patting his neck lightly as he pranced underneath him.
"J'mappelle Camille. Camille Barret." Camille looked at Carrie, impressed at how fluently she spoke French. She wondered if they would get to be good friends.

"Ah, je vois," Carrie responded in a smooth tone as she gave a mental nod. Camille Barret. She'd remember that. "Et le nom de votre cheval?" she asked, cocking her head to the side at a small angle, waiting for the female to respond to her question of the name of the horse she was riding.
Glancing over to where Alicia and Tyler were riding upon Tao, Carrie listened in on what Alicia's response was and Tyler's reacction to it. Seeing the downcast and dissappointed look written across the male's face, Carrie could easily tell that Alicia wasn't as captivated with Tyler as Tyler was with her. Well, eventually it would happen, although if Carrie had been Tyler, she wouldn't have told Alicia so early. Carrie didn't think that Tyler had scared Alicia off, but if he didn't wait a little in between intervals of when he told his feelings to Alicia, then unfortunate things could befall the two.
Carrie herself felt rather crestfallen inside at the fact that Alicia wasn't returning Tyler's affections; she was a big fan of sappy love stories that always ended happy. Even though this probably wasn't the end of this story, Carrie disliked the points of unhappiness in stories, since she was normally a cheerful person.
Except when she was mad.

"C'est mon cheval Papillon," she replied, looking down at her cross-bred Gypsy Vanner horse, patting her glossy grey and white neck, her hand now hidden in Papillon's silky ivory locks of mane. "Et le nom de votre cheval?" she returned the question to Carrie, looking at her horse. "This is Papillon," she translated for Rory, Alicia, and Tyler, although Tyler and Alicia probably weren't really listening right now.

"Sien nom est Calyndar," Carrie answered, her words fluently coming out, curtisy of the fact that she herself was from France and had visited her home country twice. Still, even more studying at home and at school frequently had paid off equally as well in her ability to speak one of the languages known as one of the most romantic.
"Pouvez-vous parler une autre langue sans compter anglais et français?" Carrie asked suddenly, trying to keep the conversation going so that it didn't just die at learning a few names. She had asked about which other languages, excluding English and French, Camille could speak. It would be a favor for Carrie to deliever to Rory if they could speak Spanish, since Rory's Spanish was relatively favorable as opposed to Rory's English and certainly opposed to her best friend's French.
As Carrie awaited her answer, she looked off at the trail ahead of them. Soft grass that had worked its way through the thick, powdery dirt made favorable footing for the horses. The sun managed to filter in through the abundant amount of trees growing, all the tall greenery that towered over their heads acting as a sieve with the golden rays of sunshine.

"Hey. You gonna be 'kay?" Taye asked as he approached Drew, riding up to the teenage male on Terra, his beloved golden palomino colored mare who was looking rather bored. Terra's ears perked up, however, when she caught sight of Layke, the stallion that Drew was currently seated upon as the other teenager turned to see who was coming.
"What happened back there? You didn't wanna go on the trail ride? Too many females, p'rhaps?" Taye asked as he cocked his head to the side, waiting rather impatiently for Drew to respond to all his questions. He didn't even know he was being annoying; he just wanted answers to the numerous questions that had popped up into his mind.
Taye watched as an exassperated look crossed over Drew's face. What was wrong? Had he annoyed Drew? He hadn't even done anything wrong -- he was just asking a few, innocent questions that had never hurt anybody in the world at all. Scout's honor. Pig's honor. Whatever you wanted. Taye raised his eyebrows as he saw Drew look up, opening his mouth to finally respond.
--x
"You like Rory, don't you?" Drew blurted out, his question coming out in a more demanding tone than he would have preferred it to come out as. Immediately, he looked at Taye, wondering of the other teenager would get enraged at his tone of voice. In fact, Drew's words had almost sounded as if he were interrogating someone of doing a crime.
To his relief, Taye didn't even twitch at Drew's hard words. "Oh, Ror'?" Drew heard Taye say, "she's awesome and she's pretty -- a really cool combination, don't'cha think?" Frustration burned in Drew as he heard Taye's words. He looked up at Taye, a hard look gleaming in his eyes as he looked at the other male.
"Say, what's wrong?" Drew barely acknowledged Taye's question of what was the matter.
"What's wrong?" Drew asked, irritation growing, "what's /wrong/?" Drew nearly laughed at the question. Everything was wrong, of course. "This whole /world/ is wrong! You like a girl and everything's not working out! You can't even talk to her without blushing! That's a situation that's happening to me and it's not being played out like a story that'll have the stupid 'happily ever after' ending!" Drew exclaimed, anger flashing in his eyes.
It was odd; despite Drew's current temper in his words, he felt as calm as ever. His gaze had turned rather icy as he looked at Taye, awaiting the male's words in response to his. When the words didn't come, Drew couldn't help it. "That girl's Rory, all right?" he said in a rush, then shut his mouth, not saying anymore.

"Hablo espanol," Camille replied. "?Usted desea canter?" she asked [Yeah, I don't know how to get the upside-down question marks and the squiggly line above the n. I have no idea how. xD] She wanted to get going with the trail, and a bored expression was starting to line Papillon's features, and her mare gave a quiet snort of impatience, er feathered hoof pawing at the ground.
