Now alone, for the small group had dispersed, Taylor set off to walk around the stables. She realy wanted a horse of her own, and her parents said that they would lease one for her, and maybe buy it if she liked it enough.
With her feet lightly taking her to the barn where the for sale horses were, Taylor wondered where Taye was, of if he was even coming to the stables today. Meanwhile, bright sunlight was shining down on the whole place, but when Taylor walked inside the stable, it got a little cooler, and the white light of the sun dimmed down to a warm golden glow.
The female breathed in the scent of hay, horses, and leather, and was soon at peace. While walking inside the rows of stalls, the warm, fuzzy light and the comforting scents had made taylor a little sleepy, her brown eyes slowly glazing over. But when she saw him, she suddenly stopped, and snapped back into focus. He was beautiful.
The horse Taylor saw was a buckskin, his coat a magical golden color, illuminated by the light that came in through the windows, and his long legs were obsidian. When he saw her, he perked his ears up and looked at her intently with dark brown and seemingly endless eyes that held a curious and friendly look. As she came closer, he let out a soft whinny, and the man who was in his stall suddenly popped up from out of nowhere. Taylor was so startled, she almost jumped. Putting a hand to her heart, she uttered to the man, "You scared me."
The man, who looked somewhere in his late 60's, maybe early 70's, had whitish hair and brilliant blue eyes that matched the color of the cloudless summer sky. He explained to Taylor that he had been picking out the horses hooves.
"Oh," said Taylor 'So that's why he came out of nowhere,' she thought. "So, is this your horse?" she asked, hoping she wasn't in the wrong barn.
"Yep. This here's Sol," he said. "It means sun in spanish." Taylor nodded and asked if he was for sale.
"Yes, he is for sale. you see, I'm too old to ride Sol anymore, and i need an older, slower horse. Sol's young and can doo more than I can now, so I need to find him an owner that can ride him. If you're looking to buy him, you can ride him how if you want." Taylor's chocolate colored eyes lit up at the mention of riding the magnificent horse.
"I'd love to!" she replied excitedly. "Just let me go get my helmet."
After she was ready and they had Sol all tacked up, Taylor and the man went outside to the large feild used to ride in. Taylor started walking, and feeling the slight breeze in her hair and the sun on her face, she felt like the was born to be riding this horse.

Alicia's little lady ♥
"Oh, father! You just don't understand! Koraline was beautiful and she was so happy and free!" Alicia trilled to her father as she danced around the kitchen, her hands flying over food ingredients as she prepared their lunch. "It was marvelous," The brunette sighed dreamily as she passed her father his sandwich. After a moment, she set down her own plate and took her seat in front of him. The table creaked under the weight but her father was too busy wolfing down the lunch to notice. Alicia glanced down at her areo shirt and jeans before gazing out the window and to the sun shiny day, her heart was thumping unevenly. How much she wished she could skip breakfast and run to the stable once again!
"Go head, 'Licia," He said, his words muffled by his food, "I know you want to see that 'orse 'gain."
Alicia turned back, her low pig tails bouncing as she did. She had decided to cut her hair shorter, three inches below her shoulder to be exact. "Dad, she's not just 'that horse,' all right? She has a name," She replied, and at once blinked in surprise. She had never acted rude before, even if she was defending her new horse. "I-I'm sorry, father, thank you for letting me be excused," She mumbled, her face a light shade of pink. And with a quick turn, she grabbed a basket and opened the screen door, disappearing before her father could say anything more.
What was that about? I never acted that way before!
Alicia's troubled brown eyes cleared when she looked up and at the beautiful blue sky above. Her heart swelled with warmth and she leaped off of the top stair of the porch and began to walk briskly through their fields. After the previous day, her extremely shy demeanor passed. She felt alive! Her voice wasn't to be low and quiet anymore, she'd say whatever she wanted to! ... As long as it was polite though, she could never be rude-- that was against her lost mother's policy.
After a moment, she began to run, her rainbow sneakers lightly touching the ground with each step. Her pigtails had rainbow butterflies, as of her areo shirt, it was a plain white blue; although the basket she carried was rainbow too. Why so colorful? Alicia dressed by what she felt. After a moment, the teenager's cheeks were flushed and her eyes were bright. She paused by the flower patches and felt her face flash with heat. Wasn't this were the boy was trying to flirt with her?
"I'm sorry for rejecting you, I'll try to give it another shot, I promise. Just let me get to know you," Alicia whispered under her breath as she reached into her pocket and brought out the flower the boy had given her. She blinked and tied it around her wrist, hoping she could make up later. Inhaling deeply, Alicia walked by the gates and saw another girl on a horse, her expression was completely and utterly happy.
She's having fun!
Alicia smiled to herself and opened the door. The coolness was refreshing after running. And so, Alicia felt a sudden sense of refusal and walked back out, her eyes clouded. Not yet, I'll ride her later. I'll wait for the other people to help me first, she told herself. With a heavy, heavy mind, she walked back to the flower patches and sat down-- opening the basket soon after. She was going to have a picnic.
ooc:// Just in case any one was curious, her name is said as ali-see-uh.

your biggest fan Tyler sat under a mall willow tree, dappled by the sunlight that was peeking through the leaves like a seive, with Tao grazing peacefully beside him. He had his guitar in his hands, and was plucking a delicate tune with his fingers, the slight breeze carrying the music all around the stable. Tao looked up from eating, and heard someone talking, or whispering to themselves. He saw the little brown-furred girl who his owner fancied, and nickered softly, causing Tyler to look up.
He was currently in a dreamlike state, so when he heard Tao and lookd around, it took a little while for his sky-colored eyes to focus on a small blur of color. Once he did, though, he saw it was Alicia, and his heart began to beat faster. But despite the butterflies beggining to form in his stomach, he kept on playing, not wanting to bother her too much. So even though his mind was on Alicia, and Tao was whinnying at her, he just looked the other way, and his fingers picked up that same delicate melody once more.

Alicia's smilin' face ♥
Alicia twirled her pigtails around her fingers, her face lifting upward to the sky, her head tilting ever so slightly. "Tao..." She uttered suddenly, her expression confused. She knew that voice -- er whinny -- before. After a moment, she could almost feel of the wind on her freezing face and the feeling of galloping over the land with friends. Tao!
... Where are you?
The teenager stood up, her basket's food splayed out on the cloth at her feet, and she beamed when she saw the huge horse for the second time in her life. "C'mon over here, you!" She giggled, her arms waving a little for Tao to come trotting over to her. Being far-sighted, she was unable to see Tyler, but his music danced around her and through her. Alicia cocked her head a little and touched the flower.
"Who's that next to you...?" She mumbled to herself, taking a few ginger steps through the flowers and closer to the willow tree. She squinted against the bright light, her hand reaching out tentatively. The person must be Tao's owner, she concluded.
At once, her cheeks heated up and she stumbled forward. "T-Tyler?" She squeaked, the flower on her wrist suddenly feeling like a hundred pounds. What could she possibly say to him?

Not thinking that Alicia would hear him playing, he suddenly stopped, his cheecks burning with embarrasment. He hoped she didn't notice. COULD YOU BE ANY LOUDER?! he thought to his heart as he looked up to find two big brown eyes looking right back at him. "Oh, hey Alicia," he said lamely, searching for words. But he just couldn't think of anything.
Looking around, trying to avert her gaze, he saw a flower tied around her wrist; the same flower he had given her, and he couldn't help but smile a little. Luckily, he didn't have to say much, because Tao was prancing around and nudging Alicia, trying to get her attention. Tyler laughed softly at Tao, who could be so silly at times.
"So, how have you been? How's Koraline?" he asked, wanting to start up a conversation.

Alicia's smilin' face ♥
Alicia brushed her hand along Tao's side, his silky mane intertwining in her fingers and leaving them feeling soft and warm. She smiled and leaned forward on tiptoe, nuzzling his face with her nose, her eyes bright. Although, when she turned back to Tyler, she could see him searching for something to say. And finally, he replied with a short hello. Alicia rocked on her heels, "Hey, Tyler," she replied, cocking her head a little as she watched him string along the guitar.
He does play rather nicely.
All right, Alicia, but what are you going to say?
Say...? I don't know!
Exactly! Now think!
The teenager blinked, her brown eyes curious, and walked forward slowly and delibrately; the crunching of the fresh green grass hopefully alerting Tyler of her approach. "Um. You're really good at playing," she complimented as she sat down beside him, the willow tree's branches swaying with the tune above them. The space between the two teenagers left her speechless. She had no word for it.
Alicia ducked her head and curled her legs closer into her body; and continued watching Tao and his beauty.

you're justso... ♥ Tyler cursed in his mind when Alicia said he was good at playing the guitar, because now his cheeks were becoming a rosy color. "Thanks," he replied softly. Hey, Tao seems to like you alot. It usually takes him a while to get to like people," Tyler told her, smiling, with laughter in his vioce at the fact that Tao was getting Alicia's attention and loving it.
Sitting here, having a conversation with Alicia, and Tao playing around, it seemed so easy all of a sudden. Tyler's butterflies had gone away, and even though he still liked Alicia alot, he was alot more relaxed and calm. Compared to their other awkward conversations, this was really nice.

Alicia's smilin' face ♥
Alicia began to become aware of the leaving tension from Tyler, and she too relaxed her body. She smiled and even went so far as to even lean on the boy, in a friendly manner of course-- although if one looked at them from afar, that would obviously think different. "Welcome," she answered automatically, twirling her pigtails; a habit. However, she giggled when Tao continued to... "horse play." At least she understood the term now! (lol d: )
After a brief moment, she abruptly stumbled to her feet, her eyes wide, "I left my picnic food down in the flowers!" She said before quickly making her way down to the blanket and basket. She was happy to see that, even if ants were crawling on the packedges, everything was fine. Alicia was relieved to know she hadn't gotten to opening anything.
An idea bloomed in her mind and she smiled to herself.
"Tyler!" She called to him, waving her arm, "Come down here! You can share with me!" There. That was a simple way to get to know each other further, right? She hoped that it really was.

you're justso... ♥ Hearing Alicia call, Tyler ran down to her with Tao cantering ahead. He sat down and set his guitar down beside him, and smiled at Alicia, trying to think of something to say.
'Okay, come one. Think of something already!!' he thought to himself. He hoped Alicia would say something, because all the same out of his mouth was: "So..."

!TAYE<
Copper toned locks flailed about as he proceeded and gave the gentle signal for his mare to move forward. He started out at a slow walking pace before picking it up in to a light trot. He halted and looked around, scanning the area in order to gage who he could possibly keep company with. Seeing Taylor out there in the distance, he steered Terra in her direction.
"Hey!" he called out once within hearing range. A smile widened his face and his teeth, a solid white, slid out from behind his lips. It was a genuine expression of happiness, and it conveyed every cheerful point of him at this present time. Letting go of the reins with his left hand momentarily, he ran his fingers nonchalantly through his hair in order to clear his line of eyesight.
He nudged his palomino in to a light trot again, entering the capacity of the field. The smile remained on his face as he breathed in deeply, feeling rather refreshed at the smells of freshly cut grass and horses. The sun's rays overhead felt warm against his skin, and the sky was a deep, sky blue. All in all, it was certainly a gorgeous day.
Eventually, he had made his way within five feet of Taylor and her newfound horse. "How are you?" he asked in a bright tone, pulling back lightly on the reins to stop Terra from proceeding forward.
He didn't know much about Taylor--only the basic facts, combined with his own opinions that he found her rather pretty and she came off to him as relatively nice. So, here began his attempts in order to get to know her better.

Alicia's smilin' face ♥
Alicia munched on her sandwhich, "Hey, Tyler," she began after a while, setting down her empty wrapper and gazing into his eyes. However, she forgot what she was going to say when a sudden hey! echoed through the hills. She blinked in surprise and got to her feet, peering around with her brown eyes narrowed. After a few moments, she saw Taye with his horse trotting to that smiling girl she had seen earlier that day.
Didn't she look familiar?
The young girl glanced down at their finished picnic and motioned for the boy to stand up with her. "Wanna see what they're up to?" Alicia asked eagerly, wiggling a little. She turned to gaze back at the two horse-folk and she smiled, her hands automatically reaching for her two brown pigtails and lightly pulling on them. "They look so happy!" She chirped.
