[centet]Tory gave a sigh and rolled her eyes. "you know it just makes me worry when you say that," she said softly, but got up. "You coming?" she asked her sister, her ocean colored gaze lingering on Mallory for a moment before walking towards two people, who obviously were related by the same blue eyes.
"Hi," Tory said in a friendly tone, wondering if the younger one would soon be her fellow house-mate. "What house are you in?" she asked the older boy, thinking him quite handsome, hoping he was in Gryffindor.

Mallory followed her sister in a nonchalant manner, not particularly caring where they went as long as she wasn't forced to make an introduction or to try to smile "charmingly." Standing behind her sister, Mallory crossed her arms and gave a deep, mental sigh to herself as she observed the two other people from behind her sister.
She was bored. She was bored in this boring world in this boring universe in this boring... galaxy. Inside, Mallory couldn't help but giving a slight smile of amusement at her boredom. The female leaned back against a tree standing at the edge of the street, tapping her foot lightly as she trained her eyes back on the more pleasant sights of Diagon Alley.
The noises were exceedingly loud and boisterous, but Mallory paid no mind to them -- if she did, she knew that she would here a flurry of chatter here and there, talking excitedly to each other, making her feel even more lonely than she did right now. Once at Hogwarts, Mallory wasn't even sure if she could trust Tory for companionship -- Tory was surely going to get into a different house than her. [/blockquote]

Amelia’s eyes narrowed as she saw she was bluntly ignored as the blond girl asked her older brother what house he was in, she glanced at them both before turned her attention to Ryan who looked rather surprised from the sudden appearance of the young girl. Her hair blew airily behind her as she turned her head away from the scene, black thoughts floated slowly across her mind. Yeah, sure, ignore her.
Ryan looked down upon her before replying “Hey” he glanced at his sister as though willing her to do the same but she merely turned her head farther away. Her brilliant blue eyes focusing intently on a shop sign, trying her hardest to ignore them which was quite easy. “I’m Ryan,” added in a friendly tone before motioning at Amelia, “and this is my sister, Amelia, she's a first-year as I expect you are too?" he finished with a light smile.
After a few moments he answered her later comment, “I’m in the Slytherin house” he answered simply then brushed some of his blond hair out of his face. He couldn't blame Amelia, the blond little girl was acting as though his sister wasn't there, of course he didn't show his sympathy now in front of the two girls, he'd probably comfort her later on.

"I'm going to be a Slytherin," Mallory muttered underneath her breath. Surprised that the words had come out, she immediately looked up and around. How could she have said that? Everyone probably had just heard and now they probably all knew who she was and how she ashamed her family name so much, and... and...
Get a grip on yourself, Mallory! she thought to herself, reprimanding herself for nearly losing her composure then and there when no one had even reaccted to her yet. After all, this place was loud and boisterous -- there was noise flooding in from everywhere. All right, Mallory. You'll be all right. You're going to live.
Geez, what was wrong with her? She hadn't even attended a single living, breathing day at Hogwarts and she was already freaking out as if she wouldn't ever be able to survive. Even though she was furious with herself, this somehow amused her inside. A slight smile sprang to her lips, but she quickly covered it up by slapping her hand across her mouth.
Oh god, Mallory, now what did you just do? Now everyone probably thought that she was a freak -- smiling to herself for apparantely no reason and then covering the smile up with her mouth with a resounding loud slap? And now her mouth was smarting from the blow... Nice job, Mal'. [/blockquote]

"Oh," Tory managed to get out. If she got into Gryffindor, she hoped there weren't going to be any rivalries between her and Ryan, and his sister.
"So, whats it like in Slytherin?" she asked, trying to be polite. "I'm hoping to be in Gryffindor," she added, and too late realized that it was the wrong thing to say. She glanced at Ryan's sister, who was pouting, probably because she thought she was being ignored. Tory rolled her eyes slightly; she had said hi to both of them, and the girl hadn't really answered back, so why should she think she was being ignored?

Amelia, who had been gazing in a bored manner at an old witch with a scraggly cloak, turned her head around at the sound of a sharp noise, very much like a slap. Her eyes rested on the second blond girl, whose face was slightly red, did she really just slap herself? For heavens sake, who does that? Amelia's eyes flickered to Ryan who was gazing at the young girl quite curiously but with a hint of disbelieve. "Are- are you feeling well?" he asked her uncertainly, shooting his sister a rapid look of unease. His blue eyes began to flash to people near by, as though he was about to run over there and ask them for help, who gave a confused look in return.
Ryan barely heard Tory as he looked at Mallory, "its nice" he replied absentmindedly, after a moment he blinked and looked away to the one that had been speaking to him. "Gryffindor?" he repeated in an agitated way, "why go there? They're just a bunch of prats thinking they have everything. That's why we Slytherins put them back in their place real quick" he finished with some pride in his voice, which he didn't care about taking out.
Amelia, who had been staring at the girl with the red mouth, finally turned away with a blink of disbelief, wondering what the heck was wrong with the world today. First, two random girls walk up, one ignores her and talks to her brother quite cheerily, and the other just randomly slapped herself for no reason what-so-ever.

"That isn't true," Tory said hotly, her temper rising. "My father was in Gryffindor, thank you very much, and not all of them are bad. Some people say that Slytherins are no good cheaters and liars, an d are all mean and sly," she said, her voice raising a bit as her eyes glowed fiercely, and her fists clenched. She hated when people talked about anything that had to do with her father or mother badly.

A slight flicker of hurt and frustration danced across Mallory's face as she received glances from both of the unfamiliar people. She gave a hesitant glance behind her and stepped back, as if she were afraid and intimdated of them.
"I-I-I'm going to go, sorry," she murmured softly before turning her back to them and quickly rushing away. Part of her was agreeing with her wanting to leave, but another part of her was reprimanding herself furiously inside about being such a coward. How was she ever going to make any friends if she acted like this every single time she met someone new? Tears pricked her eyelids, but Mallory forcefully held them back; she had resolved long ago to not be miss sensitive.
Still, as she left the group, Mallory felt much more at ease. It was if now she was released from a tight grip; now she could breathe much easier. Her mouth was still smarting, but a quick check in a shop window showed her that there had been no redness to the slap. Inside, Mallory gave a sigh of relief. Thank goodness.
Walking in a slow manner with her eyes cast upward towards the skies, Mallory went back to her daydreaming trance of simply observing nature. The clouds up above, which numbered few, were an opalescent color, much in contrast to the blueness of the skies and golden color of the sun up ahead.

Ryan and Amelia watched as Mallory drifted away before turning their attention to Tory. The young girl's brother glanced at her without even the slightest note of apology in his voice, "yeah well," he smirked and Amelia knew whenever ever he did that something was going to happen, she thought many times this came from the fact that he was Slytherin "look who her daughter is." He rolled his eyes, "please, you know those so called 'haters' are just stupid and don't know what they're talking about. We Slytherins are great unlike the rest of the puny Houses."
Amelia watched as Ryan spoke, unable to feel a sparkle of glee in her heart, she wanted to be Slytherin! That way her house would be the best! The young girl believed her brother when he spoke of Hogwarts, as though what he was telling her were true facts right out of a book itself.

Tory took a deep breath, her cheeks getting red, as they did when she was angry or embarrassed, her blue eyes blazing with a fierce fire. She clenched and unclenched her fists, but managed not to yell.
"Yeah, well, if you believe that, then you're gonna be proven wrong, because when I'm in Gryffindor, it'll be the best house yet," she said, her voice low and fierce, her petite frame tightening. She met Ryan's eyes, a fierce intensity in her own blazing blue ones.

"Mmm," Ryan nodded his head slightly as though he heard her voice but couldn't understand her words. He stood up and reached for Amelia's hand, once he had its soft features he helped her up then began to pick up some of the larger bags. His little sister carrying the ones she could, "Come on, Amelia" he smiled at her as though nothing weird happened at all "let's go and get something to drink before we head to the station."
Amelia glanced at Tory, her face unreadable before turning away and walking alongside her handsome older brother as they to went down the street. "Do you really think she'll be in Gryffindor?" Amelia asked after several minutes of dodging through people with heavy items in their bags. Some old witch almost whacked her with some huge tan colored basket that, as she hopped out of the way, saw a baby owl inside which surprised her.
"What? Oh, the Mudblood?" he asked casually as they finally reached the other side, "I don't care, as long as she isn't in Slytherin like us. That would he a nightmare" her brother replied. Amelia nodded, her thoughts now drifting around Mallory. She could have sworn she heard her mutter that she was going to be in Slytherin, would she be slapping herself repeatedly in the common room if she was? The black haired girl blinked in dismay.

A slim figure of a female sat perched on a bench, surveying the beautiful scenery, golden rays of sunlight illuminating the red, yellow, and orange leaves that clung to the trees around her and swirled around her feet. She was the type of female to appreciate nature and art. If you looked inside her old room(since she's now in Hogwartz), you would see part of the wall plastered in her photography and artworks.
She had a pretty even temper, and was usually fair, much like her grandfather, the famous Albus Dumbledore. She didn't really mind much if people goggled at her when she told them he was her grandfather. She was rather proud actually, but not conceited about the fact. But she could be pretty spirited, and fun loving too, though, and could have a short temper.
She had a petite and slim figure, and rather small feet. Her hair was raven black, and cascaded down her back in faint curls at the ends, and currently, it hung down, half of it tucked behind her ear, and the the half just hanging freely, her side bangs obstructing the view of one of her ocean blue eyes, ringed with a black ring of eyeliner.
Currently, she was wearing a pale green dress that was tight at the top, but loose and flowing at the skirt, and came a couple inches above her knees, a perfect dress for an early fall day, and on her small feet were a pair of pale green silk flats.
She was carrying proudly all of her things needed for Hogwartz. Books, robes, and wand. The wand had been 10 inches, holly, and unicorn hair for the center. She pictured in her head the glossy, dark brown wand, a white spark coming out of it as she waved it. She was particularly excited for Charms and Herbology, but really wanted to have Care of Magical Creatures, although only third years were allowed to do that. She had also bought a sketchbook wrapped in pale blue silk, two quills, one a raven's feather, and a special one that was a peacock's feather, and and three colors of ink; one emerald green, a color her grandfather liked, one pale blue, her favorite, and one simple black, for classes. She loved to practice her handwriting, and was getting rather good at it, and usually practiced in her sketchbook.
She longed to have a pet, but her parents had said that when she was ready, they would send her money to get one.
The female's name was Reyna Cerulean Dumbledore.

Tory wheeled around as she heard what Ryan was saying. "I'm not a Mudblood, so shut up. You don't know anything. You Slytherins are just a bunch of heartless, slimy, idiots!" With that, she stalked past them, her eyes blurred with tears, one crystalline one falling down her cheek as she passed them. If it was one thing that upset Tory, it was talking about her family, or her.She was a very proud person, and could be really sensitive.
Reyna walked toward a table where two people were sitting, obviously brother and sister. She saw that they were making fun of a girl, but decided not to get involved, seeing as she was already walking away. "Er, may I sit here?" she asked, not waiting for an answer and sitting down. "I'm Reyna by the way. Reyna Dumbledore," she said casually, taking out her sketchbook and a pencil, a skilled hand now drawing the bustling Diagon Alley, itching to get to the coloring part of the picture. She was amazing with colors, and liked to make her pictures come to life.
