when i'm bouncin' through the halls ♥ ♥ ♥
"me? my name? oh sure! i'm alicia maria martinez." "Uhm... call me aly, please!" "martinez? nuh-ah. Its aly or alicia, thank you very much!"
mirror mirror on the wall, who's the clumsiest of them all? ♥ ♥ ♥
"are you talking about me? well, its true anyhow!"
Alicia. If she was walking on thin air she's find someway to hurt herself or trip, no doubt about that. If you were to describe the way she moved the first thing that would come to you was probably clumsy and the last elegant. She is an absolute klutz. In Gym she is usually one of the last people chosen and in whatever little game they did, everyone last year knew not to pass or throw her anything. Just stay clear of her and you just might win the game! Of course she has no problem with this whatsoever-- she doesn't want to ruin anything. Alicia usually just bounces around on the edge of the game, cheering for the team she is on.
Now, this girl isn't the one that listens to her iPOD all the time-- to be honest she doesn't even have one. Do you know why? She knows most of the lyrics of all her favorite songs. Alicia doesn't really draw too much either but doodles have to be an exception. Doodles. Are. Everywhere. On her binder, on her books, on her backpack, in her room, in her notebook-- everywhere. God, if there was a doodle contest Alicia would definitely win.
The reason why she doodles? She sort of... kind of... gets distracted in class...
Even through the doodles she does have two hobbies. The first would be dancing. Not the little ballerina kind, even if she did do that when she was younger, but more into the hip-hop moves. Alicia isn't in advance yet but she is really close, so close she sometimes goes to watch and try to memorize the advance moves. The teenager just wants to be prepared for the next level and her teacher, Mrs. Cho, has no problem with her eagerness.
How could a klutz dance? Only God himself knew that.
Being a dancer, being able to sing is rather swell too, and she is pretty good at it. Currently, she really liked Alicia Key's song 'No One' and hums or sings it often. Mostly the chorus when she just feels like singing something random, that's Aly for you. Random, clumsy, and hyper. There isn't any other words that desribe her unless you must be insane or something, well if you were, Alicia doesn't care. She nearly likes everyone.
The second hobbie would be horseback riding. It isn't as large as her love for dancing but its still pretty high up there. She has a painted stallion, or rather one all white with large brown spots. His name is Blitz. Alicia got him when she was about seven so they grew up together-- both definitely gained each other's trust and friendship.
To top it all off, the teen is in love with animals-- especially kittens. She actually has a kitten of her own named Autumn, Alicia calls her Dot though because she's so tiny its like she's a dot running around in the house. Dot is about seven or eight weeks old and is super hyper, just like Alicia. Perfect match, yes? Dot keeps Alicia occupied from the painful grief that she gets when thinking about her mother-- she had died when the girl was twelve years old.
everything's gonna be all right ♥ ♥ ♥
"Don't worry, everything's gonna be all right~~"
Alicia's a simple little brunette. Let's start with her make-up since it's easiest. Aly wears a light bit of mascara since, having brown hair and eye lashes, it looks like she is all ready wearing some. A few taps of blush on each cheek and some medium thick pink lip gloss to finish it off. Easy and fast. Nothing too much. If lotion is considered a type of make-up then she uses that too, cherry blossom to leave and nice scent instead of perfume.

ALICE ♥ EMBARRASSING, MUCH?
While Alice had been speaking, she had placed her earphones back in her ears, beginning to chose a song on her iPod. She scrolled through them quickly, finally settling on one choice. Once she had, she leaned her head back against her locker once more, straightening her legs out on the floor. Sure, they could've been a fire hazard, but was it honestly something that she needed to care about right now? Carefree and optimistic -- that was Alice in a nutshell. No worrying and no stress -- unless it was something that was extremely serious.
She tried to remain silent, but the temptation to sing along with the song -- no matter how un-karaoke like it was, grew too large. "Ready, set, go! It's time to run! The sky is changing, we are one! Together we can make it while the world is crashing down... Don't you turn around..." she sang relatively loudly, ignoring a few stares being thrown her way as the boisterous chorus she sang managed to carry its way out. Due to the fact that the current volume level of the song on her iPod wasn't too high, she was able to hear the greeting given to both her and Saffron. Even if she hadn't heard it, she would've been able to see the presence (duh). Looking up, she flashed a quick smile at the person standing there before she observed them for a few moments in order to figure out who they were.
Alice's conclusion to this person, after studying him for a few moments, was that she didn't particularly know him too well. Maybe he was an acquaintance of hers that she had forgotten, but she couldn't be sure. She felt a little guilty about this, but decided to overlook that. Well, whatever time she had lost with this person, she could always make up somehow? Start by being nice? Of course. It was simple.
Pausing her iPod, she realized that she had been singing in front of someone when they had greeted her. How... weird was that? The simple answer? Extremely weird. Who wanted to walk up to someone and say hi, and then have that person singing horribly back? There was one thought in Alice's mind as she said a quick "hi" back to the newcomer: Whoops.

Wes couldn't help but grin at Alice singing along to the song on her iPod rather loudly and a bit off tune. "Nice song," he commented. "I'm Wes by the way. Wes Price," he added, not knowing if Alice even knew him or now. "And you?" he asked, just for the sake of it. He ran his fingers through his hair, shooting a look in Saffron's direction, and smiling at her for a moment.

ALICE ♥ GREETIN'&MEETIN'
"Whoo... ahhh... sorry about that," Alice responded, giving a slight shrug and a small smile due to the awkwardness of that. She took in the the fact that his name was Wes, and she made a point to take a note of it in her mind. Wes Price. Huh. Interesting name. Nodding her head in order to show that she had acknowledged his introductory, she returned his words with her own.
"Alice Stoler," she informed him. "And I'm pretty weird and I have a big habit of talking on and on and on... and, well, I think you kind of understand that I have a lot of energy, and right now, I think I'm going to shut up."
ooc; Bah.

"Alice. Alice Stoler," Wes repeated, nodding. "Well, you don't look that weird," Wes said, smiling at her. Wow, she was pretty. Bright blue eyes, light brown hair that shone in the dim light of the school hallways. Her delicate face features...
He ran his fingers through his hair again-- a habit he had. "So, um... I guess you've already met Saff," he said, glancing at his best friend for a moment before returning his bright blue green gaze to Alice. "Has she tried to drag you to her dad's stable yet?" he asked, nudging Saffron gently, and flashing a grin at them both to show he was joking.

ALICE ♥ NIIICE
The two knew each other? Well, it was a small world after all. A smile had weasled its way on to Alice's face, remaining there, refusing to budge. Well, it was nice to know that she didn't look weird to other people -- as Wes had just confirmed to her. Glancing at him for a brief moment before looking away, she made a note in her mental file of him that he was relatively nice. Awesome.
"Oh? Well, not physically, but I don't know... maybe I won't need to be dragged. It sounds pretty cool," Alice responded with a smile toward Saffron. In truth, it did sound pretty interesting -- she would need to check out those stables some time -- maybe over the weekend or something, whenever she could find some time outside of studying for school or something else.
Running her fingers through her hair (for probably the millionth time), Alice opened her mouth again to sing, as the song had changed. She struggled against it, and after just a few words, managed to prevent it from coming out loudly again. Boy, would she need to learn how to tame that sooner or later. Then again, she had been perfectly fine living like that, so why should she bother?

Aly; hugs and kisses! ♥ ♥ ♥
"I just want you close Where you can stay forever You can be sure That it will only get better You and me together Through the days and nights I don't worry 'cause Everything's gonna be all right People keep talking They can say what they like But all I know is everything's gonna be all right"
A young looking girl stood in front of a mirror softly singing this song, her voice an octave or three higher than the person who actually sings the melody of it-- either way she was totally lost in what she was doing. Her eyes were glazed with one thought after another, her hands were slowly forming two small pigtails and locking them in place with butterfly berets. Sienna hair cascaded all down her back and along her jaw line, her hair was long giving her many possibilities to what she could do with it, currently she kept it cute and simple [top bio picture] but durable enough to make it through the school day.
Still having that distant look in her dark brown eyes she twirled around until she made it to her dresser - why couldn't walking over to something be as easy as dancing? - and pulling it open she sought out a pink dress [top bio picture]. As she put it on her lips barely moved as she continued on with the song she was singing.
No one, no one, no one Can get in the way of what I'm feeling No one, no one, no one Can get in the way of what I feel for you You, you, you, Can get in the way of what I feel for you
After looking at herself a little critically at the mirror she finally put on a light coat of mascara and a few puffs of blush. Blinking back at the short girl in the mirror she flashed a smile and winked, before giggling a little- pulling herself out of the silliness she quickly put on some pink lip gloss and skipped merrily down the stairs with a breezy look on her face.
She should known better than to go a little faster than normal. The girl stumbled off the last step and lucky caught herself before she fell, giving the step a swift glare, she stood up and made it to the kitchen where a plate of milk and cereal was waiting. Noting to thank her father later she ate her food gratefully before hopping out the door of the house her father and herself lived in, as she did she said in a singsong voice:
"I know some people search the world To find something like what we have I know people will try Try to divide Something so real So till the end of time I'm telling you there is no one"
High school awaits.
--.x.--
Bouncing through the halls she went around corner and collided with someone, Alicia slipped back and quickly grabbed hold of a locker that she has bumped into afterward. With brown eyes round in surprise she quickly began to speak, "Oh! Oh, I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to wh--" She looked at the person and realization coursed through her mind, "Jay!" Aly exclaimed cheerfully before quickly hugging him. "I haven't seen you around the halls much! I thought you disappeared or something! Oh, oh, oh! Do you know where Alice is?! I gotta talk to her! If you're here she gotta be somewhe---" Alicia's brown eyes caught some blond hair beyond his shoulder, "Alice!!"
Flicking her gaze back to the friend in front of her she squeaked,"Eep, sorry, Jay!" Giving him another swift apologetic hug she departed. With her pink dress swishing around her legs, Alicia slipped through some people blocking her way until Aly finally reached the other side. Glancing behind her she grinned in triumph, she didn't trip! Aha! She did forget why she crossed all the people but after seeing Alice's blond head once again she obviously remembered. The short teen bounced forward and greeted Alice with a hug, "Hihi!"
It took a second to notice she was talking with two people.
Aly looked at the boy curiously, "Wait, wait! Don't tell me you're name! Uh, uhm, uhhh.... Wes!" She cried brightly and clapped her hands together after she had drawn away from Alice. Aly then cocked her head to the side as she looked at the other girl, "Who are you?" she asked innocently. So hyper. So very hyper. Even in the hyperness she was rather curious too. She didn't remember really seeing this girl around before. Unless she forgot.
That's possible.

Wes blinked a few times as a very pink and brown blur came rushing up to him, looking a bit younger than she probably was. She had exclaimed his name. And she was.... who? Did he know her from somewhere and had forgotten her name? No, he couldn't have. He usually remembered people, especially faces.
"Er, I'm sorry. You are....?" he asked, his face apologetic. His blue-green eyes studied her features. Her hair was tied in two ponytails with butterfly vlips, and she was wearing a very pink dress. A but much for his liking. But her style was her style. Who was he to judge? His eyes soon returned to Alice (ohmygosh is he lovesick), admiring her pretty features before quickly turning back to the girl.
Saffron looked at the girl. Well, someone liked pink, did they? As she shouted everyones names, giving them hugs, then asked her who she was, it was all she could do not to roll her eyes. Instead she smiled at Pink and told her her name. "Saffron. Saffron Radoe. And you?" she asked.

JAY ♥ BREEZIN' PAST?
Jay barely blinked as a flurry of pink passed right past him. It was a lot, but he was relatively used to it by now -- after all, since Alicia was Alice's friend... well, let's just say he dealt with Alicia on a daily basis, as he did with Alice. It was nothing new. Shrugging, he continued on, his bag slung on one shoulder as he tried to contemplate with his own thoughts. He didn't exactly take too kindly to being disrupted while he was thinking, as he sometimes forgot what he was thinking about and then had to try to regain his train of thought before he completely lost it.
Running his fingers through his hair, he entered a classroom where he hung out by himself, preferring the solitary situation for now. Opening a textbook, his eyes barely glanced on the pages, although his head was bent down over it, so that whoever walked in would believe that he was completely absorbed, and hopefully they would get the message: he didn't exactly want to have a full blown out conversation right now. He needed time to collect his thoughts about his little talk with Saffron, and he needed time to collect his thoughts about Saffron herself, in general.
She was pretty, there was no doubting that, and she was reasonably nice. Pondering over her in his mind, a smile slightly flickered on his lips, but he was careful not to let it go beyond that, for if somebody walked in... well, he didn't exactly want to have to explain. Inhaling and exhaling at a steady and calm pace, Jay was relieved to know that his heart wasn't pounding anymore, and that he had regained perfect control over himself. How nice.
ALICE ♥ OPTIMISTIC, MUCH?
Alice grinned from the moment she heard Alicia's voice -- no matter how irritating it could get to her sometimes when she was super annoyed and lashed out at the whole world viciously. She looked up, and spying her friend coming in a flurry of pink, the grin widened considerably. "Hi Alicia," she responded in a bright tone. "How are you? What's up? How's it been going? Anything happen while I haven't seen you? I mean, honestly... I haven't seen you in such a long time, right? Like... more than twelve hours! I swear!" At that moment, the words were once again coming out of Alice's mouth nonstop. Even if she were tied and gagged, she would probably manage to talk her way out of it -- even if it seemed impossible, Alice could probably do it.
Being with Alicia was relatively fun -- not only because the girl was a bubbling fountain of hyperness and optimism, but also because -- and this could be considered mean -- Alice had... well, a blast watching people's expression as Alicia just entered their lives for that day. It was rather... amusing. With her eyes flickering to the faces of Wes and Saffron, she recognized the expression of Wes to be one that was rather confused, while Saffron... well, did she detect a slight hint of "I'm-not-exactly-completely-charmed-and-overwhelmed-by-hyperness, but hi?" personality from her? Interesting.
"Hey -- Miss Optimistic-Bubbly-Insane-Shortie-Alicia," Alice remarked, seeing as her friend was introducing herself somewhat to the others that had kept Alice company for some time now. "Don't go overboard. I think you're scaring the heck out of them -- and not only these two," she told, a teasing look in her eyes.

:Run baby run! Don't ever lok back! They'll tear us apart, if you give them she cha-ance!' Sang a teenage girl rather loudly as she got ready for school. Her small green iPod was placed safely in her hand, earphones secure in her ears. Currently, she was standing in front of the mirror, critically looking at herself in the mirror. After nodding at her white, slim-fitting tank top with a bunch of different, neon colored music notes on it and light blue denim shorts, she grabbed some black eyeliner and put a very thin line around her moss colored eyes. Next, she put on a layer of light blue, slightly sparkly eyeshadow, blinking a few times, her long dark lashed framing her eyes, not needing any mascara, before reaching for her peachy pink lip gloss and applying it to her lips.
After checking herself in the mirror once more (short chestnut hair. Check. A couple of freckles dotted across her nose. Check. Slim figure check.) Yep, it was all there. When she checked that she was still Lily Katelyn Rose Parker, she grabbed her black and grey checkered backpack and slipped into her black Airwalks and walked out the door, grabbing her black jacket and running out into the cool autumn air to high school, passing her two horses and giving them each a carrot from her pockets before heading off.
--xx--
After putting her things into her locker, she walked down the hallway, her rather loarge green eyes searching for someone to talk to. Also looking for her friend Tom. She passed a row of lockers and headr voices, then stepeed back a few paces to see a rather large group of teenagers, a tall male walking swiftly away. Hmmm. Must be in a hurry. Oh well.
"Um, hey," she said boldly to the group as she approached, nearly tripping over a guitar in a lovely decorated case leaning against a locker. She smiled at all of them. "My name's Lily Parker. And you guys are?" she asked, curious to meet them all.

ALICE ♥ TRY TO SHUT ME UP "Oohhh... It's time to let it go... The world's got a funny way of turning 'round on you when a friend tries to stab you right in the face... Losing faith in everything I thought I hoped I knew, don't sweat it, set on false pretense..." Once again, Alice was not about to shut up with her singing, as she had just changed her song -- yet again. She was going to go to change it once more, but stopped when she heard a new presence come in to their midsts. Why, the people were just flocking around today, now weren't they? Well, Alice had no problem with that, now did she?
A smile passed across her lips as she looked at the newcomer, trying to look as welcoming as possible. "Hey," she greeted, adding on a slight wave. "I'm Alice," she responded as her answer to the girl's -- her name was Lily as she had just said. "Alice Stoler, if you're especially particular about last names and the like," she added in with a good-natured smile. "And the guy you just walked who was walking the other was Jay. Jay Freyl. He's kind of quiet, and I guess he's just getting to class early or something to ask the teacher a question, or maybe... I don't know. I'm not sure, don't ask me. I'm his friend, but I don't exactly know the inner workings of his mind, even though we're like... joined to the hip." The smile remained, hinting at the corners of her mouth as she just continued to speak, once again.
"I'll just do a short intro... Yeah, I just told you my name's Alice -- like the Alice in the Twilight series, sure, if you want to connect to a book. People say I'm a lot like her in terms of personality, and maybe that's true. I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm more of a sportsy person. Running around, kicking stuff around... yeah, I think you get the point. Horseback riding's a pretty cool sport, but then again, I haven't seen a high school that offers equestrian, eh? I mostly do track and field along with field hockey, since those are the two biggies... and... uhhh... I guess I can shut up now enough to let someone else speak."
Oh boy... Alice... uhhh...

Aly; hyper&happy ♥ ♥ ♥
"Er, I'm sorry. You are....?" Wes asked in confusion.
Alicia blinked at him, dark brown eyes shining, before replying in a happy tone, "Alicia Martinez~ But if you don't mind I like going by Aly but Alicia is still fine! I don't care as long as you don't call me by my last name, hehe. Make up a nickname if you want." As usual she gave him a quick hug before returning to Alice's side, smiling pleasantly. Then Saffron spoke her name, her expression was a-little-irritated-yet-handling-it-well-ish when she replied. Aly nodded her head in acknowledgment, in her mind she was secretly wondering whether she would handle a hug nicely, with a little hesitancy she slipped forward and gave her a swift hug. After the introduction were completed Alice began to babble.
Alicia turned back to her, having a hard time keeping still before blurting out as soon as she finished, "Oh, I'm okay! I'm trying to figure out if my father put, like, sugar on my cereal this morning! It tasted different, ya know? Not really, Dot was climbing on my head yesterday though! Twelve hours?! I should have called you or something! We couldn't hung out!" Unable to resist she put her hands to her chest and wiggled a little. "What were you doing while I was away? How are you? Did you get a new outfit or something?"
"Don't go overboard. I think you're scaring the heck out of them -- and not only these two."
Aly ceased wiggling and looked confused for a second, then realization abruptly rushed through her. Blushing in embarrassment she looked at them, "Oops... Heheh. Sorry," she smiled apologetically. A look of mild struggle flashed across her eyes until she held still, taking an effort to stop her bouncing and tried to actually look like a 'regular' teen.
She was always full of energy and it took some concentration to act a little more adult-ish-- sure, sure she could pull off being in seventh or eighth grade from the way she looked, acted, and her height but it didn't mean she was stupid or anything. She did have a high schooler mind but it was definitely clouded, that could be good or bad. Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden hello. Alicia glanced to her side to see another girl, for a moment she almost started getting hyper again but she quickly put her hand behind her back and clenched it tightly. Hold still, hold still, hold still! She whispered in her mind.
"Hi!" She chirped, smiling, "Lily... that's a cute name! I'm Alicia Martinez but I really like Aly~ Alicia is totally fine too!" She introduced quickly unlike Alice who could go on, and on, and on. There was something good, to her, about Alice's super fast talking ability super power. It definitely was something to use up part of her hyperness.

Saffron was getting rather bored, with all the introductions, and her mind kept wandering to Jay. As she thought of him again, a quick smile flashed on her face before vanishing, as to not get stared at or asked why she was smiling. Yes, of course she would answer: "Oh, I was just smiling because of this boy i just met." Yeah, not really.
"Well, I think I have to go to class. I'll see you guys later. Bye!" she said cheerfully as she walked off to class, waving at the three girls over her shoulder as she went.
As she stepped into he classroom, freed from the sea of students rushing down the hallways, her jade colored eyes fell on Jay. It was a nice coincidence, them being in the same class, Saffron thought. She sat down in a seat next to Jay, mostly because it was pretty much the only seat left in the classroom by now. "...Hi," she said, her shyness kicking in quickly. She smiled slightly at Jay, before casting her gaze back at her desk.

Aly; math ? eep! ♥ ♥ ♥
"Well, I think I have to go to class. I'll see you guys later. Bye!" Saffron said.
Alicia let out a groan of frustration, "Ah, great! I forgot to do my math homework!" The short girl glanced at Alice, exasperated before saying in a small voice, "Oh, uhm, Alice...? C-could I-- your math sheet-- copy?" She asked, struggling on her choice of words before tumbling on, "Mrs. Anderson might... detention... homeworks I missed..." How many times had she asked to copy her friend's math homework before? One too many but she seriously had some trouble keeping on task in class. With the doodles, the lecturing, the freaky symbols... It was too much for her brain to take most of the time. She usually maintained a B in that class, but that wasn't what was worrying her. Her father would ground her for getting detention when there was so much to do at his farm! "I promise I'll do it next time! It's just that Mrs. Anderson is soooo mean! She says everything too fast!" Alicia complained.
Sighing, she glanced around and realized the halls were becoming more emptier by the seconds, "Aaaaaaaaand we better hurry up! We're gonna be late!" She let go of keeping her hyper-like-self under control and automatically started up again with a new bounce in her step. "C'mon!" Waving a good by the Wes, she grabbed Alice's hand and began to dragging her to their next class, "Slow poke! Hurry up!" She teased.
Hopefully they'd make it!

The male gave a quick smile in the general direction of Saffron. It was a reserved smile, nothing really special in it, but it did manage to get the point across that there was a sense of happiness when he realized that she shared the same class with him. He didn't particularly know this girl too well, but it would be relatively nice to get to know her a little better, and then maybe things could perhaps escalate, at whatever speed, to something else or maybe not. Who knew?
Running his fingers through his hair, he tapped his foot on the ground at a brisk tempo, waiting silently for the class to commence. His eyes drifted over to the clock stationed at the wall, making a mental note in his mind that this classroom appeared reasonably... boring. The walls were of a bland white color that wasn't exactly anything special, and besides for a few posters laid out here and there, there wasn't much else. This wasn't really the ideal classroom that Jay preferred to learn in, but then again, Jay didn't particularly like learning in a classroom in general.
Leaning back in his chair, he continued tapping his foot, although the beats decreased in their intervals, the sounds drawing out at a slower rate. Inhaling deeply and then exhaling through the mouth, Jay did a quick check up on the others in the class surrounding. Everything appeared normal, and as Jay wasn't one to delve in to deeper explanations, he was satisfied.
ooc; okay, okay. i'm going to make a dorky excuse again. i'm tired. Dx
