Crystalrose nodded in response, looking around for the other cats. Padding out of the warriors den, she greeted Songbreeze with a purr. "Is Oakheart still in there?" Songbreeze asked, a rather malicious gleam glinting in her pale green eyes. Crystalrose nodded, instantly realizing that the she-cat was up to no good.
"Let's go wake him up," Songbreeze meowed to Crystalrose, padding into the warrior's den with a flick of her tail to tell Crystalrose to follow. Crystalrose followed her friend, slightly mystified.
Songbreeze took a seat next to Oakheart who was sleeping. Quickly, a paw flashed out and jabbed the tomcat in the side. Crystalrose looked at Songbreeze, barely able to keep the purrs of laughter from coming out. Together, the two she-cats waited to see how Songbreeze's jab would work out.

The pheasent was right there. Almost. Just a bit further.
Suddenly Oakheart felt a sharp twing on his right and his firy amber eyes shot open. For a moment confusion tugged at his mind. Where was the pheasent? Where was /he/? His eyes adjusted to see Songbreeze and Crystalnose watching him with amusement glittering in their eyes.
At once he scrambled to his paws and looked at them both, scraps of moss still stuck on his pelt. Obviously one of them had caused the sharp jab. His eyes lingered on Crystalnose then on Songbreeze who looked ready to burst with laughter.

Songbreeze couldn't help it; she just fell onto the floor of the warrior's den, her purr unable to stop as she found amusement at Oakheart waking up all of a sudden. Crystalrose looked at her as if she were crazy, but then again, it was pretty funny the way Oakheart had shot straight up into awakening.
"Surprise!" Songbreeze managed to meow in between her unstoppable purrs. Crystalrose came next to Songbreeze, flicking her friend's ears with her fluffy tail, amusement glinting in her eyes although she managed to stay more refined than Songbreeze was managing.

Oakheart watched as Songbreeze lay, purring so much that he had barely heard her words. With a mock growl he jabbed his paw into her underbelly a few rapid times until he too was purring with laughter.
The pheasent was forgotten as he played with the she-cat. As though they were kits in the nursery again. He and Songbreeze were moons older than kits but he couldn't help it.

Songbreeze finally stopped her purring and managed to seat herself back up when Oakheart had stopped jabbing her underbelly. "It's about time you woke up," she meowed, laughter still sparking her pale green eyes wonderfully. She thought she was about to go back to her unstoppable purring again, but Crystalrose was there to mantain her. Indeed, there were some uses to having a clear and stable-minded friend to do tricks with.

"Well," the tabby meowed "since you're so keen to have me awake, tell me how much fresh-kill you caught" Oakheart inquiered cooly, though he couldn't hold in what was tickling his chest in very long, for be began to purr some more.
Finally as his purr ended he tried to smooth his unruley pelt down from its ruffled state and to take out some off the moss that had stuck itself into him while he was having his play-fight with Songbreeze.

"Well, I haven't eaten anything yet, now have I?" Songbreeze told the tomcat, a gleam of amusement still dancing lightly through her eyes. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Crystalrose send a glance towards her and then to Oakheart.
"Maplestar asked Hailwind and I to go find Battooth for patrol, so I believe I should be leaving now," Crystalrose told the two cats, padding out of her den to see Hailwind still waiting for her. She flicked her tail to tell him to follow as she made her way to Battooth. "Battooth!" she called out to the tomcat, awaiting for him to respond.

Oakheart nodded "right, of course" he meowed sarcasticly though amusement was also in his voice. "C'mon, lets see what everyone is up too" he added then stalked out of the warriors' den with his tail held high. He gazed at all of the cats in the clearing though he had to blink a ffew times to get use to the sunlight.

Songbreeze nodded in agreement, following him out of the warriors' den. "Eagledance returned back from hunting," she stated nonchalantly, nodding towards the tomcat warrior who had just returned and was holding what seemed to be a reasonably good catch, despite the current weather that surrounded the forests. All around, the trees were nearly bare without leaves. It seemed as if all the leaves that had fallen made a new layer on top of the earth layer, so that whenever you stepped, you would hear the crunch of many leaves underneath your paws. It was as if the brown earth had been covered and swallowed up by the golds and reds and browns of the fallen leaves.

Brimming with the day's troubles and conflicts and having just been a day after the Gathering, the deep-brown apprentice was walking without a care in all of StarClan. Flicking his short, thick tail in the air proudly, the tom pranced to the fresh-kill pile, placing in his small mouse and trading for a modest share of a small vole. Dipping his head down and gently grasping the small, thickly-furred critter in his jaws, Dawnpaw turned and padded over to a small flat boulder, leaping up on it easily and settling himself down.
Turning his eccentrically bright-orange and golden eyes towards the center of camp, the dark-chestnut-hued tom placed the vole down, surveying the hustle and bustle of the camp. It did seem rather dry this season, and with his small pickings from hunting, Dawnpaw felt a slight concern in how much prey there would be.
Upon this he turned his illuminating gaze towards the new foreigner, watching him with high interest. Slowly he scanned over the golden warrior's long, lithe legs, running the motions of his highly-exotic walk over and over in his mind, engraving the warrior's scent, appearance, and movement in his mind. Now all Dawnpaw needed was to hear this tall and large warrior speak, for he had heard that this warrior had a very unusual way of talking.
Running a pink tongue over his brown mout, he blinked away, neatly clenching the fur of the vole and tearing it out, his long tongue clumsily lolling out of his mouth as the distasteful tang of vole fur clung to his lips.

A flash of blue-gray fur could be seen tustling through a large pile of leaves that were both wet and dry. You could hear the leaves that had been drained of water as they crunched against the ground rather loudly. Meanwhile, the soggy and moistened leaves stuck to the gray fur that rolled around in them.
If you had looked close enough, you could've quickly identified the creature as a cat who was apparantely having quite a good time rolling around in the leaves. Purr after purr issued in her throat as she continued tossing the leaves around, having a rather good time at catching the leaves that flew high up into the air. She made it a game -- toss a group of leaves in the air and she could only reach out a paw to grasp only the red leaves or perhaps only the golden colored leaves. Who knew? It was her game and no one else knew what it was about except her.
When she had finally had her fill of darting her small paws out to hit the leaves, she padded away from the pile of leaves, eager to play again tomorrow. One would've thought that such a game would have excersised all the energy from you, but the she-cat apprentice was as hyper as ever. Leaping up and down in the air, she attempted to get all the wet leaves off of her blue-gray pelt.
After completing that task, the she-cat finally sat down, although she had about a dozen more things she had in mind to complete before the day was through. Resting her lilac colored eyes on the fresh-kill pile, she added another thing to do on her list -- hunt for the Clan.
She was an exceedingly hyper and talkative cat, although currently, she didn't really have any cat to speak to. Named after her amethyst colored eyes that could be otherwise known as the color 'lilac', her name was Lilacpaw.

Battooth looked up at Crystalrose's voice. "Yes?" he meowed, his tail flicking as he bounded to the she-cat. "Are you quite ready yet?" His tail swung around, landed breifly on the she-cat's nose, then was whisked away a second later. That had always gotten a sneeze out of Maplestar. "Well fed, well rested, full of energy, ready to go?" His eyes sparkled happily and he spun suddenly in a circle, chasing his own tail and just barely managing to catch the tip in his mouth. He beamed at the two others, trying to hold his head up with apparent pride without yanking too hard on his tail.

Crystalrose sent an amused glance -- after she had sneeze lightly of course -- in Hailwind's direction as Battooth caught his tail tip in his mouth. "You're not going to catch prey in that position, that's for sure," Crystalrose meowed teasingly to the tomcat, shaking her head. Beckoning to the two tomcats, she headed out towards the entrance of Camp, flicking her tail ever so slightly to tell them to follow.
Hailwind looked at Battooth with a quizzical stare, but padded after Crystalrose, glancing over his shoulder to see if the tomcat warrior would follow or if he would stay there with his tail tip inside his mouth.

Battooth somehow managed to do both of Hailwind's ideas. He trotted after the two, tripping ever so slightly. He guessed the advantage to having such a long tail was exactly this. He could show it off like prey. He followed the two other warriors lopsidedly until he finally let go of his tail and let it swing behind him. His eyes glittered with pride and amusement as he tagged along behind the deputy and warrior. "So Crystalrose," he meowed non chalantly. "How was hunting with Maplestar?"

Lilacpaw glanced around Camp, eagerly searching for another cat she could speak to. Her lilac eyes gleamed with delight and yes, hyperness. Seeing Oakheart and Songbreeze, she darted forward. Looking up, she realized that she was going too fast and that she had to stop -- now. Digging her claws into the ground, she acknowledged that fact all too soon that the earth on the ground was covered by a thick layer of leaves.
Her attempts to halt were in vain -- she nearly bowled Songbreeze over. Songbreeze sat back up, her pelt unruffled. "S-sorry, Songbreeze, Oakheart!" Lilacpaw apologized, padding over to Songbreeeze to see if there was anything she could do to help. "Do you need me to go fetch Ivorywing from the Mooncave? Do you need any help? Are you hurt? I'm so sorry!" On and on went the babbles -- the simple way that Lilacpaw spoke everyday.
Songbreeze blinked with amusement at the she-cat apprentice as she turned her head and gave her slightly ruffled tri-colored pelt a few licks. "It's quite all right, Lilacpaw. Clumsiness in an apprentice is something that will be easily tolerated," she meowed kindly to the younger cat, flicking Lilacpaw's ears with her long, bushy tail.
