Wildpaw walked in step with Lilacpaw as they came farther into the EarthClan forest.
"Hey, wanna see this cool place I found?" He asked, flicking his tail in excitement. He had never shown this place to other cats, and had the urge to show it now that he was with a friend.

"Sure," Lilacpaw remarked as an answer to Wildpaw's question, excitement showing in her eyes as she awaited for Wildpaw to show her this awesome place he wanted to show her that he spoke about. She nearly bounced up and down with eagerness, hoping that he wouldn't keep her in suspense and that he would show her soon.

"Alright then, follow me!" Widpaw mewed as he darted off onto a path smoothed by his own paws only, soon to be flattened more by Liacpaw's paws.
He soon stopped at a beautiful waterfall, very small, but still pretty. There were all sorts of flowers around the damp moss-covored rocks - including lilacs. Wildpaw suddenly thought that Lilacpaw would like these. He waited for Lilacpaw, the sweet scent of wildflowers filling his nose.

Lilacpaw hesitated for a moment before following Wildpaw. Lilacpaw, however, wasn't the most graceful of cats; she did indeed stumble a few times over certain rocks that she could've sworn simply got up and moved in order to trip her. Sooner or later, though, she managed to go and view the sight that Wildpaw wanted her to see.
"It's beautiful," she murmured softly, after a while of observing her surroundings with a cautious glance. With her eyes looking around, she spotted some familiar flowers. Lilacs. "Lilacs!" she exclaimed, delight rippling through her as she saw them. Quickly, she dashed to them, dipping her head down low to take a sniff at them.

"I thought you'd like them", Wildpaw said, looking at Lilacpaw, his body warmed by a feeling he had never felt before. He went up to Lilacpaw, dipping his head down to snif at the pretty and fragrant lavender flowers. "They smell nice", Wildpaw mewed, still taking in the smell of the flowers.

"Of course they do!" Lilacpaw meowed in somewhat of a boast, "they're my namesake, aren't they?" She purred as she continued sniffing the flowers, joyfulness showing throughout her. "And of course I like them, silly," she added to satisfy his earlier comment about how he thought she'd like them. She liked them so much that she couldn't even put them into words; after all, how often was it when you got to see lilacs during late leaf-fall [and almost leaf-bare!] in EarthClan Camp? Wilpaw moved closer to Lilacpaw as a gust of wind ruffled his pelt. He purred at the warmth in Lilacpaw's side. "Yeah, I guess that would be another reason for your name.", he mewed, trying not to flatter her, but just to agree with her.

Lilacpaw purred at the warmth that Wildpaw gave her side. "How'd you find this place?" she asked, slightly awed at the fact that Wildpaw had managed to find such a serene and new-leaf-like place during such a cold and harsh late leaf-bare, soon to turn into an even more harsh and cold leaf-bare. She tilted her head to the side, looking at the tomcat apprentice and awaiting his answer. How on earth had he managed to find this place in the midst of the EarthClan forest?

"I was just walking along, and I caught the scent of lilacs. They smelled so good, so I followed it. And then I just saw it", Wildpaw mewed simply, but said "lilacs" in a dreamlike tone, not meaning to. He drew in the fragrant scent of lilacs once again, looking at the bunches of pale violet flowers.
"You want this to be just our secret spot?" He asked, wanting to share this sacred place with Lilacpaw, seeing as there were lilacs here, and Wildpaw was beginning to...maybe...favor her?

"Sure," Lilacpaw responded in an easy tone, eager to be able to return to this place whenever she wanted to. She tilted her head to the side yet again, a position that she often went in to when she was thinking. "But what about Hazelpaw?" she asked uncertainly, looking at Wildpaw as she referred to her sister. "What if she wants to know where I was with you?" she added in a questioning tone. If keeping this spot a secret meant not even telling her sister, what was Lilacpaw supposed to say if Hazelpaw ever asked her?

"Well, I guess you could tell her we just went hunting, I guess", Wildpaw answered, knowing that Lilacpaw and Hazelpaw were very connected as sisters, and felt a bit guilty about hiding this from Hazelpaw and making Lilacpaw hide it from her sister.
"Well, I guess if you really want to tell her, you can", Wildpaw said cheerfully, although he really wanted the beautiful spot to be just for him and Lilacpaw. "C'mon, lets go back", he mewed, getting up from his cozy position with Lilacpaw.

A trace of doubt crossed through Lilacpaw's mind. Now that Littlepaw was getting fond of her sister, Hazelpaw, would Hazelpaw be keeping secrets from her as well? She tilted her head to the side, still contemplating these thoughts. Well, Wildpaw didn't, most likely, love her yet, but she was rather delighted to be with hims at times; it was always nice to have a playmate that had the same type of bubbly temprament that she had.
"All right," she meowed to Wildpaw's last statement, standing up after he did. Eagerly, her thoughts went back to wanting to race Wildpaw earlier. "Want to race?" she asked, a healthy competitive look crossed her face as she awaited Wildpaw's response. There was no good or bad response -- it was all just a matter of his preference. "Sure!" Wildpaw mewed, as he raced away, to the EarthClan camp. [Moving Wildpaw to the EarthClan camp]

Instantly at the sign of Wildpaw moving, Lilacpaw put her weight on her haunches and sprang forward, bounding lightly on the ground. Her paws moved rapidly underneath her, bringing her slender frame quickly through the EarthClan forest, eager to be back at Camp where it was warmer then the current icy cold and harsh weather conditions outside.
