"We wouldn't have to go back to EarthClan," Moonwind replied calmly, affection passing through his eyes as he looked at her. "I might talk to Shatterwind though, about this she-cat. Make sure everything's alright." Moonwind paused, to look Amaryllis over once more. "I know you knokw why I didn't want him to kill you," he mewed, looking into her sapphire eyes to let her see the affection in his copper-gold ones.

As Amaryllis looked into Moonwind's amber-golden gaze with her own blue one, her suspicions were confirmed. She had been thinking over this, but she still couldn't help but feel fairly shocked at the fact that Moonwind did return her affections. "Very well. I'll let you speak to him since I don't believe I would be able to without returning with even more injuries," she meowed softly in response to the black and silver pelted tomcat, meeting his gaze evenly as a small hint of her own affection passed through her eyes ever so quickly.
It was as if something had stirred inside her, as if something had thawed and was now letting her emotions run freely. From the way Moonwind looked at her and the way she felt for the tomcat whom she had tried out her devious schemes on before, Amaryllis just wasn't exactly quite sure what to call her current emotion. It was assured, however, that she had never felt it before.

"Alright," Moonwind ewed to the she-cat. She moved his head closer to her. "I love you, Amaryllis," he whispered softly in her ear before bounding off behing Shatterwind.

Although Amaryllis had seen the light of affection in Moonwind's golden amber eyes, the words assured her even more that he loved her. She gave a deep nod of her orange tabby colored head, her sapphire blue eyes watching after him as she padded forward, following the black-and-silver colored tomcat at a distance, not wanting to have Shatterwind see her when Moonwind went to speak to his friend -- would Shatterwind become Moonwind's former friend after this news? -- when Moonwind went back to EarthClan.
Also, how would Moonwind be received in EarthClan? That was something Amaryllis hadn't thought about; how would the EarthClan cats act? They might be delighted that their former Clanmate was back, but if Moonwind decided to tell them about what had happened... well, Moonwind probably wouldn't exactly be very well liked. "Amaryllis, lets get back to camp", Moonwind mewed to the she-cat. "I talked to Shatterwind. He's upset, but I don't think he'd hurt you in the camp." Moonwind looked at Amaryllis, wondering if she would go with him.

"But would your leader accept me into the Clan Camp, if only for a little while, when he probably knows Shatterwind's story?" Amaryllis whispered in response to Moonwind's words, worry passing through her sapphire blue eyes as she looked at the black and silver colored tomcat, awaiting his answer. She shifted uneasily, wondering what some of the EarthClan cats, who had been or were Shatterwind's friends, would do to her. Then a sudden thought hit her -- how could she be so selfish and self-centered? What was Moonwind sacrificing for her? What would the cats do to him?

Moonwind locked his gaze with Amaryllis'. "I don't care what the other cats will think, and Maplestar is fair. If he hears your side, he'll probably let you stay." Moonwind's fierce gaze softened as he looked over Amaryllis.

Amaryllis was still a little doubtful of going, but Moonwind's words assured her a little. At least he cared for her; that meaned that it didn't matter whether the other cats hated her and shunned her. Well... She did deserve it, but she wouldn't exactly like having to put up with it. She held Moonwind's gaze for a moment before looking away, her sight firmly set upon the direction she thought the EarthClan Camp was.
"Shall we go?" she murmured softly, but a sense of determination hinted in her voice and eyes.
