"Hmm, I see", said Honeypaw with laughter in her smooth voice. "I was wondering, do you want to go hunting?" She asked Onespot. "Just me and you?" She wondered if Onespot would accept, or just say he was too busy.
Lilypaw continued to look at the apprentices. "What did Inkpaw even /do/, when he was just sitting right here with Dreampaw?" She winced as she said the name "Dreampaw", for she was the one who had "stolen" Inkpaw from her. She wondered if she could talk to Dreampaw. She looked at Dreampaw, asking the quiestion through her wet azure eyes.

"I'm almost six moo-oons, I'm almost six moo-oons!" Starkit purred to herself, swinging her tail so much, it resulted in swinging her bottom. Her pale green eyes shone with exctiement at the fact that in only a half moon, she would be six moons, resulting in her apprenticeship. Her silver-white fur glinted in the sunlight, her silver-tipped ears and paws standing out against her coat. She bounded over to the apprentices hwo were quarreling. "Hey!" she meaowed. "Whats going on here?" Most cats loved her spirit and energy, and sometimes thought her funny. This was probably not one of those times.

Dreampaw heaved a mental sigh of frustration as Lilypaw and Starkit entered the conversation. Did the whole entire Clan now have to join the arguement and take sides? "It's nothing," she meowed, agitation flitting through her mind as she looked at Starkit. She twitched her ears at Lilypaw's defense of Inkpaw, but that was a normal everyday thing that she could easily expect Lilypaw to do, even though Dreampaw was a bit grateful for Lilypaw's support.
Inkpaw flicked his tail in acknowledgement of Starkit as well as giving a quick, "Hi!" as a greeting. He turned back to Bravepaw. If Inkpaw had been a human, he would've been crossing his arms and looking at Bravepaw expectingly. Indeed, Inkpaw couldn't quite cross his paws, but he did manage to look at Bravepaw with an expecting look for an answer.

Starkit always favored Inkpaw. He was so fun and spirited, like her. She would love to have him as a mentor when he became a warrior, and she became an apprentice. She walked away, getting the hint that this was not her fight to be in.
Lilypaw walked over to Dreampaw. "Dreampaw", she whisprered softly, still wincing at her name. "Can I...talk to you? Please?"

Onespot's ears flicked back and forth in surprise. "I guess that would be okay," he meowed uncertainly. Horrible flashbacks of what had happened the last time he had gone out of camp with an apprentice danced behind his eyes, and he thought he could hear the horrible wailing the she-cat in his care had let out just before the light had died from her eyes. He blinked these visions away. "I guess we could," he said louder. He turned to look at Mistheart and Flamefoot, the latter of the two now hunched angrily in her nest. "I'll be hunting. When I come back, I expect you to be calm enough to talk to," he ordered as he gazed steadily at Flamefoot but she didn't make any signal to show she had heard.
The ginger-headed tom sighed and turned back to Honeypaw. "Let's go then," he said. Pausing for a moment, wondering if maybe he should stay back and refuse to let the apprentice go, Onespot shook his head. Finally deciding he would have to get over his fears sometime, he strode across the clearing, glancing over his shoulder at the apprentice.

Although Dreampaw didn't really favor leaving the warmth of Inkpaw's side, she stood up to go pad away so that she could have some secrecy with Lilypaw. She purred slightly as when she padded a few steps away, her tail was pulled by Inkpaw's. "Inkpaw, let go," she murmured quietly, amusement dancing through her verdigris and sapphire-like gaze.
Moving a few tail-lengths away from the group, she turned and looked at Lilypaw. "Yes?" she meowed airily, awaiting the she-cat apprentice's words.

"Well", Lilypaw began. "It's about Inkpaw. Again. Are you...falling in love with him?" Lilypaw mewed, her sapphire gaze meeting Dreampaw's virdian and azure gaze.

Bravepaw forced himself to calm though his eyes still burned, "what I ment was you must have hurt Silverpaw emotionally not physically" he sighed and glanced at Dreampaw. Why would Inkpaw hurt her with claws and teeth? Mouse-brained she-cat.
His tail flicked with his irritation but he held himself this time from blowing over and hissing at Inkpaw with his anger.

Dreampaw opened her mouth to openly and nonchalantly disagree, to say that she truly disliked Inkpaw as much as she did before, but she hesitated. She met Lilypaw's gaze full on, unafraid to show the truth in her own gaze.
She didn't say anything; just kept on looking at Lilypaw, the answer floating around in her eyes. Dreampaw herself wasn't quite sure -- /was/ she finally falling in love with the black tomcat apprentice? His hazelnut eyes always seemed to dance with spirit and his warmth against her side made her purr with tenderness and gentleness; she just didn't know.
"How?" Inkpaw meowed in response, keeping his cool quite easily as he sat there, gazing at Bravepaw with a harsh look of something almost like dislike.

"You do, don't you?!" Lilypaw cried. How could Dreampaw do this, when she already said she would always hate Inkpaw. Lilypaw was speechless now, anger burning in her azure colored eyes as she locked her gaze with Dreampaw's.

Bravepaw hesitated as he thought, "Well once she came back after she asked you about the kittypet she was looked angry and upset. Then Silverpaw just got up and left and now she is sleeping in the apprentices' den" he replied. "She was perfectly fine until she talked to you so tell me, what'd /you/ do?"
The grey tomcat waited, his thoughts flickering across his eyes like minnows.

"I'm not allowed to love him?" Dreampaw shot back hotly, her ears tilting back, soon to be pressing firmly against her silver tabby pelted cranium. Her tail lashed out against the ground, the anger and frustration being released into the dry rocky ridge earth underneath as she met Lilypaw's game firmly.
"You can't control my heart just as much as I can't control yours," Dreampaw added, softer this time as she calmed down a bit more after her tail hit the ground furiously.

"And how do you think /I'm/ to blame?" Inkpaw asked, looking at Bravepaw, anger flashing momentarily through his hazelnut eyes as he looked at the other tomcat apprentice. "It seems that whenever there's a single problem in Camp, the blame always magically happens to fall onto /my/ shoulders!" he added, hissing with frustration.

Bravepaw rolled his dark blue eyes, "Well, we'll just have to ask Silverpaw when she wakes up why she's upset" he meowed with a lash of his tail. With a sigh he trotted away, his ears slightly against his head.
"You'll see that I'm right" he managed to call over his shoulder as he padded away, his tail tip flickering with his irritation and fustration.

I know, Dreampaw", Lilypelt whispered softly, her body trembling with the affection he felt for Inkpaw. "I suppose you won't care if I told you how much I love him?" She asked, knowing that no cat really did. they all called her selfish, and that maybe Dreampaw was made for Inkpaw. "But I really, really do love him, more than anyone knows."
