Koa's stomach churned as she walked through the camp in the approaching dusk. Tonight was the night that she would become an official warrior of SkyClan. She was so excited and nervous that she could hardly walk straight.
Shivering as clouds began to cover the sun that was giving what little warmth there was left in the growing leaf-bare, the golden black spotted she cat blinked her sea colored blue-green eyes a couple times groggily having just woke up from resting in the warriors den. She had to rest after she went hunting because she needed to stay awake for her vigil tonight.
Perking her ebony lined ears and looking for a fellow clanmate to talk to. She didn't really have any close friends in the Clan, but was friendly with pretty much everyone. Spotting two toms, she walked over lightly.
"Aloha, Icefoot, Onespot" the she-cat mewed to the two felines, a smile lighting up her features. "How are you two?"[/size]

Icefoot's eyes lifted as he regarded the newcoming she-cat with a faint flick of his tail, not particularly sure how friendly of a greeting he should give to her. "I'm fine, thank you," he meowed lightly in response to her inquiry. "And how are you?" he asked in return, as it was just a simple matter of courtesy for him to return the question.
The tomcat rasped his tongue over his paw a couple of times because of lack of anything else to do. A calm expression, as always, was present in his face, giving him a look that suggested somewhat at the peacefulness and tranquility that reigned over his mind and body. Curling his tail around the base of his frame until it rested upon his forepaws, the tomcat remained in that same position, not making any movement with the exception of his even breathing pushing his chest in and out at regular intervals.
His mind and gaze wandered in the few moments in which he waited for Koa to give him her answer and to either fall silent or to continue on speaking with a new subject in mind, as Icefoot himself was most exactly the most capable when it came to kindling conversations.

The she-cat replied to Icefoot's simple question. "I'm fine." Noticing how calm and quiet the tomcat always was, she cocked her head to the side a bit. "Icefoot, why are you always so quiet?" she asked curiously. Well, there was a pretty obvious answer, the fact that some cats are quiet and self kept and some cats are more... outgoing and loud. That was just their personalities. Waiting for his answer, Koa sat down, placing her paws newtly in front of her as her tail waved peacefully around.

Icefoot's gaze never faltered from simply staring out in front of him as he prepared an answer containing just a few short words that were simple and sweet -- and which got the point across quickly without him having to explain too much. "Just because," was his response, a hint of amusement hidden in his voice as he said so. In truth, it was a rather good answer, as Icefoot himself wasn't particularly sure why his demeanor was so collected and calm for the most part. It was, most likely, just how he was.
And, heck, if that was how he was, then he wasn't complaining. He'd much rather be quiet and peaceful as opposed to fiery -- leave that up to Flamefoot. He and Flamefoot were good with each other in that sense; they balanced one another out. Flamefoot could probably eventually strike up the more outgoing side of Icefoot (that is, if there really was one), while Icefoot was there to somewhat pacify Flamefoot whenever needed.
At the thought of the ginger colored she-cat, a sense of fondness engulfed Icefoot, but he let not a single bit of it escape his outside shell. His face was still as smooth as ever, making it impossible for one to read what he was thinking and feeling.
