Musicsoul glanced up at the moon and purred to herself. This was her favorite time of the day. She loved being able to look up at the sky and see the moon and the stars. It always reminded her about her duty to her clan, and every once and a while she needed that little reminder. She glanced behind her at Cloudpuff, "How'd you get your name anyways? I don't think I ever ctually figured out."

"Oh, when I was an apprentice, I was a little white scrap apparantely to some warriors. It was a joke between them all, I think. When I was named, I guess Northstar continued that. You see, I'm not as large as some tomcats although I'm not extremely small." Cloudpuff explained. He was about to add 'like you' to the end of his sentence, but decided against it. Even medicine cats could be touchy about certain things.
"I wonder what Dreampaw's warrior name is going to be," Cloudpuff meowed, breathing out a sigh of longing for the she-cat. "Dreamfeather? Dreamshard? Dreambird? Dreamflight? Anything would be beautiful for her..." he continued, the lovesick cat still mooning over the she-cat apprentice.

Silverpaw suddenly awoken and for a moment she didn't know where all the apprentices were then the thought struck her. The Gathering. She was rather angry that she couldn't go but still, her duty to her clan ment much more.
The young silver she-cat stood and gave herself a quick stretch, her mind was slightly numb from sleep. Silverpaw's beautiful icy-blue eyes shifted over to see Dreampaw curled up in her nest. Her breathing was quiet and soft. She was probably happy that Inkpaw wasn't there bugging her.
Inkpaw, Inkpaw, Inkpaw. Most of the cats in SkyClan found him utterly annoying and yet to her he was rather happy and his spirit shown out brightly like hers. She had to stifle a purr of laughter as she remembered all the times they had been through together.
Silverpaw sighed, wondering what had awaken her. Then she slipped out of the apprentices' den and padded gracefully to the middle of camp where she sat. Her felt glowed with a brilliant metallic color as the moon showered its light down upon her.
She watched the full moon, her eyes gleaming with awe. It was just so beautiful. All the curves smooth and the light was soft. Maybe, one day, she would become Silvermoon. The perfect name. Silverpaw blinked as her gaze slowly moved over the stars. Her ancesters and her clanmates. Father? Father are you watching me? she mewd silently in her head.
For a moment she felt peace as a warm scent came across her path and perhaps a soft voice whispering in her head, I am here my daughter.

Dreampaw awoke from her dream, blinking her beryl and verdigris colored eyes to clear them of the heavy sleep that had surrounded them for a while. Breathing in the scents of the Camp around her, she detected that Cloudpuff's scent remained heavy around her along with Musicsoul's. A strange tingling feeling returned to the top of her head where Berrybloom had licked her in her dream.
In a matter of seconds, Dreampaw instantly recalled everything that had happened during her dream. She could almost picture the rolling hills filled with beautiful, lush grass that she had seen and had spoken to Berryblossom in. Instantly, thoughts of Cloudpuff filled her mind.
He was indeed rather handsome and he had a nice attitude - nothing at all like Inkpaw's. Still, she couldn't imagine being his mate. He was four moons older than her and good-natured, yes, but she wasn't sure what Inkpaw would do if she fell in love with Cloudpuff. There was only one true fact that she was sure of currently - she would never look at Cloudpuff in the same way ever again.

Lilypaw didn't want to be at the Gathering anymore, she just wanted to go home. She padded into the cool water, and swam to the lakeside.
((Lilypaw is at the camp))
When she got into the camp, she wanted to talk to Dreampaw, but didn't know why, although a part of her wanted to rip the she-cats fur off. She spotted the she cat stepping out of her den. "Hi, Dreampaw" lilypaw said rather quietly. She was all of a sudden consious of her own pelt, although it was sparkling ivory in the moonlight, it was still wet. But at least the water would hide the fact that shed been crying. "C-Can I talk to you?"

Inkpaw returned back to Camp, his black pelt heavy with the amount of sticks and leaves it had picked up because of its moisture. Standing at the Camp entrance, he charged in, eager for finally being warm and dry. Ambling into Camp, he glanced around, his hazelnut colored eyes trying to sought out Dreampaw.
His eyes danced with excitement and anticipation as he finally found Dreampaw, blinking rather drowsily from waking up. He padded up to her, greeting her with a purr. "Hey!" he chirruped excitedly, his tail twitching back and forth. His thoughts on how he was going to retall the tale of Silverpaw's rescue were written unambiguously all over his mind as he looked at her.
"Mmm... What? Inkpaw, what're you doing here?" Dreampaw meowed rather sleepily, continuing to blink her sparkling exotic colored eyes a few times to clear the sleep from them. On normal circumstances, she would've been extremely irritated that he wasn't at the Gathering, but being eager to hear the news of the Gathering as well as being sleepy tied together to make her not as frustrated currently.
"Nevermind that, I have something awesome to tell you!" Inkpaw exclaimed, nearly bouncing up and down with happiness and glee at being able to tell Dreampaw a story. Many moons from now, when he and Dreampaw were mates and elders, he would enjoy telling the story over and over again. He retold the story, making no exceptions to any details. He watched as Dreampaw's eyes filled with a slight but of enrapture; an improvement from their current relationship.
"Nice job, Inkpaw," she meowed in her melodic voice, looking at him. Inside her, she felt a sense of amazement at his ability to swim and save Silverpaw. Who knew that such an annoying cat could actually do something heroic?
Inkpaw believed that he could burst with delight. He looked at Dreampaw, who was staring away from him - perhaps she was finally falling in love with him. "Thanks!" he responded cheerfully to her, giving her a slight wink from his hazelnut colored eyes.

"Sure," Dreampaw responded smoothly, her voice syrupy - the normal way she spoke. She watched as Inkpaw padded away, a sense of indignation surrounding him. Blinking rather confused after him, she looked back at Lilypaw. "What can I do for you?" she asked her fellow she-cat apprentice, tilting her head to the side in wonder as to why Inkpaw had stalked off so quickly. Normally he would've stayed and would've most likely tried to coax more compliments from her. Strange.

Silverpaw dragged her cold paws into camp. Her pelt was absolutly freezing though her eyes were bright with a mixture of happiness and something else hidden in their depths.
She padded delicately over to a sandy area and began to lick more of the water off herself. Her pelt glowed furiously now that it was damp and in the moonlight. Silverpaw gracefully bent down and began to lick her silver fur.
Her ears pricked when she heard Inkpaw telling Dreampaw about how he saved her. After she finished licking her chest air she stood and bounced over, "Hello Dreampaw" she meowed softly. Her voice was smooth as honey and soft as that of kit fur (I like that sentence!).
She then turned with a small dip of her head and gazed around for Inkpaw. Silverpaw spotted the black apprentice a little way off. She padded silently over to him wioth a quiet mew of greeting fallowed by a question "aren't you going to sleep? You've had a long night" she asked as she caught up with him then purred in turn.

"Dreampaw" Lilypaw repeated, more irritably this time, seeing how Dreampaw wasn't frustrated with Inkpaw. "Umm, can I talk to you?" She asked, her tail tip twitching.
Lilypaw couldn't believe it. Dreampaw actually might be falling in love with Inkpaw! 'StarClan, is this what you want for me?' She thought to herself, then realized StarClan wasn't likely to be listening, for theyt probably thought she was selfish too. 'Well I'm not! And if thats what everyone thinks, then they really don't understand me! I would die before I got my warrior name to protect my Clan!'

Dreampaw gave a nod of her elegant head to show acknowledgement towards Silverpaw's greeting. "Good day, Silverpaw," she responded to the she-cat apprentice, glancing at both she-cats and wondering why all of a sudden both of them were speaking to her. "And of course, Lilypaw," she added, her tone of voice still remaining polite and quiet.
Shaking her head mentally with bewilderment, she remained calm and serene on the outside as if she didn't have a care in the world and that it was everyday that the two she-cats sought out conversation from her.

Oh, x out 1st part of post. Sorreh. Bic::
"I-Its about Inkpaw. I really really love him, as much as he loves you. And no cat will understand me! They only get mad and say I am being selfish, but I'm not! I want Inkpaw to be happy, but I love him to much to just give up. Please tell me you're not starting to like him? And I'm not being selfish, and please don't get mad at me if I seem like I am. How will he ever love me?" lilypaw asked desperately.

"Oh, that?" Dreampaw meowed to Lilypaw, amusement glimmering slightly in her eyes. "Well, I had to get him to stop bugging me, didn't I? It was pretty impressive that he saved Silverpaw. Besides, I couldn't say anything bad about what he did. It seems like the more I do that, the more he hates me," she told the apprentice, sending a mental shrug towards herself.
So this was what it was, eh? Amusement rippled through her petite frame, although it wasn't visible. It truly was rather funny. If she hadn't been so caught up about thinking about Cloudpuff, she would've purred out loud with laughter, but her luminous eyes were clouded slightly with wonder about what she was supposed to do with either Inkpaw or Cloudpuff. Lilypaw sighed to herself. This wasn't really helping at all, and Dreampaw apparently thought this was funny, for Lilypaw could see the amusement in her eyes.
"I guess maybe I should just give up" Lilypaw mewed with a sigh. "I mean, Cloudpuff isn't all that bad, and he /is/ pretty handsome." Lilypaw scuffed her small paws in the dirt. 'What am I thinking? I love Inkpaw, and thats it.' Lilypaw was pretty much just babbling to Dreampaw, to try not to make herself seem like she was completely /obsessed/ with Inkpaw. Except, she kind of was.

Dreampaw's thoughts became slightly more troubled as she heard Lilypaw mentioning Cloudpuff. Swallowing anxiously ever so lightly, she gazed at Lilypaw, her beautiful azure and viridian colored looking at the she-cat apprentice with an unwavering gaze. It still troubled her about that fact that Cloudpuff liked her. Mentally sighing, she thought that she would have a word with Azalealeaf once the she-cat returned from the Gathering.
"That's your decision," Dreampaw meowed, deciding not to tell Lilypaw about the fact that Cloudpuff favored her - for the mere anxious thought of getting Lilypaw even more frustrated. Frankly, Dreampaw didn't know why the two tomcats liked her - she was just a normal she-cat apprentice that was trying her best to learn the warrior code as well as balancing two crushes. She heaved a sigh once again, confusion darting through her eyes.
