[/i] Her back legs were far apart while her front legs were scrunched in the middle. She was listening for birds, one of her very many hobbies. She would listen for the bird, and then try to figure out what kind of bird it was.

However strange she looked or was, Flutterpaw always had heart. After a long while of listening, she was disappointed that no birds had sung at all. Well, being the kind of cat she was, she just shrugged it off and stretched. It was very tiring with nothing to do.

Flutterpaw then sat down elegantly and began washing her paw.[/size]

"He's hopeless, yes, that fellow's a mightily hopeless little feline right there, yep, that is," the she-cat muttered as she ambled out of the warrior's den, coming out empty-handed in her attempts to get Hailwind to forget the codes of his fancy paws chivalry and to just realize that hunting during leaf-bare was hard, and she hahd only gotten slightly lucky.

A sigh of exassperation drifted out gently from the calico cat's throat as she shook her head, giving the slight impression that she was rather disappointed. Still, she found it better not to go on and on about the subject -- instead she would just leave it up to Hailwind to finally accept that sometimes other cats (yes, and that meant she-cats as well) were able to catch more prey than him. Just because he was deputy didn't mean he had to be absoloutely perfect in everything, and hunting was no different.

When she drew up in a halt beside Flutterpaw, the she-cat had a placid expression marked on her face, no longer frustrated or annoyed. After all, it wasn't Flutterpaw's fault that Hailwind was being such a dumb butt. "Hey, sugar," Mysticflight meowed in a light tone to the she-cat apprentice, sitting down beside her.

Humming softly to herself, her mind wandering onto other places. Currently, she was having one of her most frequent daydreams about flying. She was looking up at the milky sky, snowflakes nestling themselves into her creamy colored coat. Tan legs stepping slowly and lightly on the ground, mind still wandering in the sky.

Lost in her daydream, the she-cat hit something soft, warm, and... furry? Shaking her head, Dremfeather's large blue eyes focused on a calico figure. It was slightly taller than her, and she realized it was Mysticflight, a she cat from her Clan.

"Hi Mystyflight, hey Flutterpaw. How're you two doin'?" She asked the two felines, her light southern accent so faint that you could hardly notice it floating in her airy voice. She sat down and curled her tail around her paws, shivering against a cold breeze that ruffled her fur, making it all stick out. She sighed, but didn't bother to smooth it down. She wasn't a cat who cared much about looks.[/size]

[/color] When she saw the slight breeze ruffling the cat that had asked her the question's fur, she herself began to feel cold.

For a moment her mind wandered. Was there a place where there was NEVER a leafbare? If that were true, was there a place were there was never a greenleaf? She'd rather be in the place that it was always greenleaf, no matter how many moons passed.

Her paws were starting to become cold since she'd groomed them. Darn, I shouldn't have cleaned them... But, a girl's gotta be clean, right? ESPECIALLY a Medicine Cat Apprentice, since she'd have to take care of sick clanmates. She noticed that she was talking to herself again. In her head, that is.

Flutterpaw looked back up at the cat. "So, uh, how have you been? Besides cold?" She smiled at her last remark.
