[Mmmm. I'mma change that. One second.]
"Of course you wouldn't," Amaryllis purred in response, retaining her regular, devilish like deameanor within, although she remained as innocent and serene outside as ever as she continued padding alongside Moonwind, trying to force her blue eyes not to examine his features and almost fall in love with them. She admired the way his lithe limbs moved underneath his sleek pelt. She blinked rapidly a few times in attempt to snap out of her current trance-like state of staring at him.

Moonwind said nothing, but just walked alongside her, thier pelts touching. "You really are beautiful, and you have pretty rare eyes for a flame-colored cat." He mewed, his voice gentle, but strong. "Have you ever fallen in love?" He asked, his voice not quivering as it would if he were a love-sick tom falling under Amaryllis's spell.

Although she attempted to resist it, Amaryllis couldn't help but purr long and deep as the tomcat praised and flattered her even more. Usually it was her being playful and flattering the tomcat, but why shouldn't she be having a little fun while doing this? She continued purring, rubbing her pelt against his again. "Why thank you," she meowed to his praises, looking up at him again with the blue eyes that he had just complimented.
"No, I haven't," Amaryllis responded, her voice coming out and sounding completely innocent. If he had known her past, though, he would easily have figured out /why/ she had never fallen in love like a proper she-cat normally would.

"Mmmhm, well, I haven't either. Have you ever wanted to?" Moonwind asked, and added,"Be honest." Not in a serious way, but in a playful way. He twined his tail a bit more with hers, so that they were pressed against each other.

Amaryllis hadn't thought of this question before. Even though Moonwind had spoken to her in a playful tone, she still thought of if she had ever wanted to fall in love before. She opened her mouth to deny having ever such thoughts of loving another cat, but then she hesitated for a moment to truly contemplate over the subject. This tail twining, this pelt brushing, this talking together... Had she ever done this with another tomcat besides when she had been attempting to trick them into falling in love with her? For the first time in her life, Amaryllis questioned herself about why she liked to break the hearts of tomcats. Because it's fun! she thought to herself stubbornly. "I'm not sure," she meowed at first, still thinking over the subject. Then why did she feel something different inside her currently, something different from the rock hard feeling that had always kept her in her devilish position when she had been charming other tomcats? "Yes," she uttered finally, not knowing what else to say.

Moonwind purred to himself, finally getting Amaryllis to want to fall in love. "Ever have a cat in mind?" He asked simply, his gold eyes dancing. He looked at her, hiz gaze locked with hers, too look into her, to see if she was really truthful.

"I-I-I don't know," Amaryllis meowed, for the first time in her life nearly stumbling over her words as her voice quivered slightly at the strange new feeling that blossomed within her. She sorted through her emotions, trying to determine what she currently felt. Usually she felt just hard and gray inside -- having no care in the world. Right now, it was as if a new flame had leapt up inside her, trying to tell her something she could do besides breaking the hearts of tomcats. "You," she murmured, although she wasn't quite sure if she should say it aloud, so it was barely audible.

Moonwind pricked his ears in surprise. "Me?" He asked gently. And what did /he/ think about Amaryllis? A heartless, heart-breaker, who made some tomes even .kill/ their friends? This was a different side of Amaryllis than he had seen before...

Why did he have to press her to say it again? "Yes, you," she responded stiffly, although if you gazed into her eyes, you could easily spot the truth that glimmered in them as she answered his question. She flicked her tail from side to side uneasily, suddenly aware of the fact that she was close to the tomcat and that their tails and pelts were touching each other.

Moonwind drew back a bit as she replied so stiffly. He wasn't sure is she was completely truthful, but he accepted her answer anyway, although he had a feeling she was lying. "Some cats have said that to me, but I soon found out that they were lying", he said, rippling his muscles in fake anger. "I would hate it if that happened again."

"What makes you think I'd lie to you?" Amaryllis purred, returning once more slightly to her devious manner as she spoke to the tomcat, halting for a moment and wrapping her slender frame around his more muscular one, her tongue running over his ear yet again. She looked at him through innocent blue eyes as she awaitd his answer to her question.

"I guess its the look in your eyes, and the tone in your voice", he answered to the she cat who was regaining her devilish personality. He gave his already shining chest fur a few licks, and rippled his muscles angriy, though he forced his golden eyes to be gentle, but strong.

"It's just..." Amaryllis trailed off for lack of words to say in her current situation. How was she supposed to the answer the tomcat? For once, it felt as if she was stuck in a corner, unable to get out on either side. Suddenly, though, she thought of at least one statement to make that could possibly preserve her innocence for a while longer. "It's just," she repeated, with confidence this time, "before I've never fallen in love."

"Oh", Moonwind answered, looking into Amatyllis's gaze, remaining soft and gentle, but without affection. He wrapped his tail around hers, stood up, and beckoned her to follow him down to the lake.

Although Amaryllis was feeling as if Moonwind was a bit harder to break in than other tomcats she had experienced before, she knew that she would in the end get the best of him -- or would he? His gaze was kind and gentle as well as soft, but Amaryllis realized that there was no small hints of him falling in love with her. She quickly followed alongside Moonwind, her pelt brushing against his as they padded forward. "Why're you so interested in learning about my love life?" she meowed suddenly, although it was a rather akward question to ask in her current position.
