Movements graceful and eerie, the deceased warrior blinked oddly, contemplating the coversations that appeared to be drifting around the felines. Blinking slowly, the obsidian tom stepped down, moon-dipped front toes spreading out against the long grasses that dappled the grounds so elegantly and pleasantly. With a ghastly presence, Moonrun padded slowly and easefully towards the group.
As he neared them, he felt the uneasiness within them. They seemed to be talking about the medicine cat of SkyClan, Sorrowsoul. With a sober grimace, he turned his moon-tipped ears forwards, head picking up with interest. It took only a mere moment's time of listening before he turned his multi-coloured eyes towards the sky, pupils expanding in interest.
Dusk was approaching quickly. And then he could become visible to the Clan cats.
Moonrun waited, anticipating the time of being visible; the time of joining, and the time of near-living for him. It was a pleasure he longed for again. He wanted to see his love again, wanted to know if she was all right. But he couldn't--he was engulfed in tragedy too far. Releasing a silent sigh, the deceased warrior blinked slowly, waiting in anxious anticipation where he could join them.
He was already there, however. They just had to feel him.

Lilypelt paused as a sweet kit-scent flooded over her. She looked behind her and saw a small tabby kit standing there. The kit padded past Lilypelt and sat down in front of her, right between her paws. The tabby looked up at the ginger-and-white with large blue eyes, then looked at the rest of the cats.
"Hello little one," Lilypelt meowed softly. "How are you today?" She didn't expect an answer, nor did she get one, but she bent her head to lick the blue-eyed kit on the top of her head. The tabby was Lilypelt's third kit, but she had died very soon after birth. The tabby hadn't even made it to her second day. So Lilypelt hadn't named her, having been advised against it when other cats saw how weak and small the she-kit was. She was simply refered to as 'dear one' or 'little one' by Lilypelt, and whatever else any other cat felt like callign her. The kitten did not speak often, although she was perfectly capable. She stared intensely around at the other cats, inclining her head a fraction of a whisker to the older cats.

"Who's that?" Dewstripe asked quietly to Lilypelt, watching the moment of tenderness come and pass. She gazed at the small kitten, a sense of pity welling up in her. Here she was, pitying and crying over Raytail when this little kit hadn't even had the chance to live and breath in the fresh forest scents of the areas surrounding the Clans. She awaited patiently for an answer, occasionally glancing to the side to see how the Gathering was going on down on earth.
With an amused glimmer, she saw Inkpaw down on earth. He was seething with frustration and anger, apparantely. "Who do you think Inkpaw's going to finally be with as mates?" she asked aloud, to no one in particular. "Dreampaw or Lilypaw? He's pretty determined to get Dreampaw, isn't he? Most stories like this would end with him loving Lilypaw, but the chance of him finally getting Dreampaw is pretty big too."

Goldenwhisker peeked into the apprentices' den. His heart lept for joy at the site of a glowing bundle of silver fur. He trotted around Dreampaw and Berrybloom and over to Silverpaw. He smiled and laid down next to her without a sound. Silverpaw's scent held that of wild-flowers which her father drank in happily. He loved the day of Gatherings, being able to be so close to his daughter.
Berrybloom on the other paw was smiling toward her alive clancats. She, however, wasn't grieving in her heart like her friend Goldenwhisker. She didn't float around sulking and whimpering. She was rather happy, she didn't resent dieing for she knew Ivorywing would care for the clan. Berrybloom was watching Dreampaw lay in her next. "Hello my dearest" she murmured into her ear.

Elegance was not something to surpass when the warrior moved, with equal lithefulness as the moon itself, round and luminous across the soft-scarred sky. Dull, multi-hued eyes pulled away from the skies, already beginning to darken as the full moon pushed through the clouds. His hopes were not risen at once, but his eagerness was fufilled once the sky became opaque.
With this, Moonrun's body became to become clear; not tangible, however one could see his immensely lean and thin frame, leg muscles thickly built for sharp speeding sprints. Face devilishly handsome, however was held with an unknown longing and depression, as if an unknown presence of sorrow slashed a great clawed paw across his soul, tearing it into ragged shreds of broken cloth. His left, dusky silver eye, and right, light moon-blue sapphire eye, both set in the same direction of the other StarClan cats, whom had already made themselves known. Oh, how he longed to become visible to those of the living before the moon made herself known--it was a pleasure that the decease and ending of his life had restricted because of the last moments of his life.
Moonrun stepped down from the invisible ledge he had been standing on, the cool grasses welcoming him numbly with whispers of despair. Blinking, his whiskers twitched as he padded in a ghostly manner towards the group. Coming across a fellow StarClan mate, the obsidian and moon-dipped tom came up to Dewstripe and settled next to her. Long tail wrapping around his moon-tipped forepaws, the deceased warrior blinked slowly, turning his attention to the Gathering below them. Shifting his strong shoulders to a more comfortable position, the feline brought his unique gaze towards the apprentice they had been talking about before. Moonrun then looked over towards Berrybloom, whom was lovingly gazing at her kit. With a glint of pity in his silenced eyes, the swift warrior released a near-silent sigh.
He pivoted his head towards the leader of SkyClan, gaze softening immediately as his shoulders relaxed with affection. "Oh, my love," he sighed. His voice indeed was very young, suggesting that the warrior had not been taken to StarClan for age reasons. Tragedy brought them together in the most complex and odd of ways.

Dreampaw's senses were numbed and she soon opened her eyes - in a dream of course, not in real life. In real life, she would've seen Cloudpuff and Musicsoul speaking quietly next to her, but all she saw was lush forest and rolling hills. Although she had never seen this place before, she had quite a good idea of what it was. The StarClan Huntings Grounds.
Fear immediately streaked through her heart. Did she die? Was she already dead without warning at all? Had some murderous cat killed her when she was sleeping? "Where am I?" she murmured to herself, her voice quivering slightly as she looked around, fear passing through her sapphire and emerald eyes.
Part of her willed herself to believe it was a dream while the other half remained firm and said that it was reality. Of course it was a dream, but Dreampaw had no clue about that. She blinked, looking around wildly as her tail twitched with anxiety and confusion at where she was.

Berrybloom let her sweet scent be carried by the wind to where the young she-cat stood. After a few heartbeats she stepped delicately out from behind a bush with a soft mew of greeting. The medicine cat trotted over and gave Dreampaw's head a gentle lick. "Do not be afriad, my dearest" she whispered, her amber eyes warm.
Goldenwhisker and Berrybloom were different and alike in many ways. Goldenwhisker usually brooded over the fact he was dead while Berrybloom flounced about without resentment. They both had a love for Gatherings though. Thier connection was fitful with their alive clanmates.

Dreampaw's fear died down when the she-cat stepped out from behind a bush and licked her head. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice lined with confidence now that she understood that there was nothing to fear. She looked up at the she-cat wondering why she was here in StarClan.
"Why am I here?" Dreampaw asked, adressing her latter thought. She peered at the she-cat. The scent that surrounded the cat was familiar, although Dreampaw certainly didn't recognize the cat at all.

Berrybloom smiled "I am Berrybloom, Ivorywing's old mentor. I had helped take care of you when you were first born," she meowed. Her eyes were partly hazy as she thought back. The medicine cat let out a purr at the second question "Am I not aloud to visit my young apprentices'?" she blinked, the amusement glittering in her eyes then continued "I just wanted to tell you that StarClan is always there." she added then sighed deeply. "Always there" she repeated quietly sounding as though she were talking to herself.

Dreampaw looked at Berrybloom with awe. She couldn't imagine Ivorywing of EarthClan being Ivorypaw and having a mentor. Why was Berrybloom speaking to her? She was a SkyClan cat but Berrybloom had been an EarthClan cat. Well, Dreampaw thought that the reason why was because now that Berrybloom was a StarClan cat, it didn't matter who she spoke to in dreams.
"Then maybe you can give me advice, even though you were a medicine cat?" Dreampaw asked the she-cat, looking up at her. Her sapphire blue and her emerald green eyes were staring intently at the she-cat with a pleading expression dancing in her eyes.

Berrybloom turned her wise amber eyes back to Dreampaw. She nodded "Okay, my dearest, but not here." She tilted her head to a small puddle "drink and we will move to a more suitable place" she too lapped up a little. The water tasted of sweet things, giving her body new strength. She waited patiently for Dreampaw.

Dreampaw shot a questioning look at Berrybloom, but obediently turned and lowered her elegant head to lap up a few crystalline drops of the water. Its sweet taste lingered on her tongue for a while before she finally swallowed the water. Instantly, a rather cold numbness spread through her. After a few seconds, however, it was replaced by a warm feeling. Liking the new feeling, she looked eagerly at Berrybloom. "Now what?" she asked, desperately wanting advice about her current situation about Inkpaw.

Berrybloom dipped her head and turned without answering, within a moment she was bounding along a sandy path. She glanced back and waved her tail for Dreampaw to fallow her. The medicine cat had always liked the young she-cat and was already guessing about what she need advise on.

Dreampaw followed Berrybloom, giving a quiet exclamation as she felt what was underfoot. It was almost like the Lakeside of SkyClan. She looked wonderingly at the past medicine cat of EarthClan, wanting to know when she could finally confide in the cat.

A slight disturbance caught his attention, causing him to pivot his skull towards the direction of what appeared to be a slumbering apprentice. Blinking his multi-hued eyes, the obsidian ghost feline tilted his head as he noted to himself what the she-cat looked like. He had heard of this one before, apparently in a tie-down with the so-called Inkpaw of the same Clan; this must be Dreampaw.
He found similarities within the female apprentice, and some in the tom apprentice as well.
Releasing a sigh, Moonrun lifted himself, padding quietly over towards them with dull and wide eyes. "Hello, Berrybloom," he greeted warmly. Shifting his quizzically sorrowful gaze over towards the apprentice, the deceased tom flicked his long onyx tail swiftly. "This must be Dreampaw."
