The Gathering had been rather short, as she had expected. There was not much to announce, nevertheless anything to queer on about. Releasing a long sigh, she swept her graceful paws off of highrock, moving lithefully until she stood beside the tom leader. Halting, Northstar shot a quick glance towards him, her gaze hard and determined. Swiftly the she-cat padded past him with an elegant surpass, brushing her sleek metallic coat against his as she trotted towards the shoreline of the small island.
Without needing to flick her ears backwards, the tall, slim she-cat thrust her skull upwards, parting her skinny jaws and emitted a loud and powerful yowl, beckoning SkyClan back to the water's edge. Northstar was indeed in no mood to wait for them, thus pushed her lean shoulder blades backwards, muscles thickening and penetrating through her silvery coat as she plunged into the cool waters. She propelled herself with a new anger, a new sense of irritation and infuriation that she had not felt for a while.
It fueled her.
It took no more than around fifteen minutes or so for her to reach the shore of SkyClan territory.
Leaping out of the water with hasted aggression, Northstar bounded into camp.

The she-cat followed the SkyClan leader into the water. Azalealeaf paddled just as hard as Northstar to get her anger out. At the beginning of her descent into the water, her ears had been tilted back, but they were back to normal and being perked in the air straight up as she worked on propelling herself forward throughout the cool water.
Watching Northstar for guidance in the dark night, she observed the fact that the leader seemed rather stressed and unhappy. Tilting her head to the side while she was swimming, Azalealeaf wondered what could be wrong with Northstar. Finally, she came to an answer that she thought was correct - Northstar probably disliked the fact about Inkpaw's outburst. Azalealeaf gave a mental sigh to herself, praying to StarClan that Northstar wouldn't make the reprimand for Inkpaw too harsh. After all, the whole of SkyClan knew that Inkpaw was always an outspoken and passionate as well as a bit hot-headed cat. He probably got all his hot-headedness from herself, though.
Leaping onto shore, Azalealeaf's lithe paws worked underneath her quickly as she followed Northstar into Camp. She glanced around, looking for Inkpaw; no doubt he was with Dreampaw somewhere.

Crystalrose's whiskers twitched slightly with amusement at Maplestar's comments. If cats could blush, however, a rather scarlet color would've spread throughout her face as he touched her lightly on the cheek with his nose. "Shall we go?" she meowed to him, glancing over her shoulder to see that the other cats were ready to leave. Without waiting for an answer, she padded to the edge of the water and slid in, wading for a few moments before she had to start kicking to propel herself forward.
x--
Ivorywing saw Crystalrose speak to Maplestar yet again and watched as the she-cat slipped into the water. Not bothering to wait for Maplestar, Ivorywing herself went into the water, fear clinging to her mind as she continued thinking about the nagging feeling she had. Soone or later, she returned back to the EarthClan Camp. Padding into her den, she realized that she would have to go with Musicsoul to the Mooncave and Mooncrystal tomorrow.
x--
Hailwind, meanwhile, waited for Maplestar to leave the island - unlike Ivorywing, whom he saw slip into the water without a second glance. A purr rumbled lightly in his throat. Ivorywing was usually the patient kind, but when she wanted to get back to Camp and sleep, she was always quite eager to get back and rest up.

Maplestar purred as a few of his cats began slipping off of the island and into the water. "EarthClan!" he yowled, "If you haven't already, start heading back! Strongest help the others! Keep younger and older in the middle!" He trotted to the edge of the water and glanced over his shoulder, a trace of alarm flickering through his eyes at the thought of swimming again. He took a breath and waded in, bounding through the waters, his mind fixed solely on the fact that there was dry land on the other side.
Battooth watched as his sister got up, touched her nose to his, then turned away. "Bye Battooth!" she called over her shoulder as she raced after her new leader. A pang of sadness struck the obsidian tom as he watched Mistheart's slightly fluffy tail moving away from him. He glanced away as he heard Flamefoot and Onespot mutter their own good byes and slip into the water after Battooth's sister. He sighed and got up, following Maplestar into the water. Battooth paused as he saw a strange look in leader's eyes as he entered the water but waded in anyways, figuring that Maplestar had just forgotten to say something. It was possible for Battooth's old mentor to mess up every once in a while.
