Voleheart's white tipped ears slid back a bit, giving a nod, before lowering his head back into the grass, ears flicked up as he listened to the rustle of the leaves and the songs of the birds.
"It is..." Voleheart agreed, lifting his neck and tucking his paws under his chest, ears flicked up as he watched his clanmate and companion. "What do you suggest we do now, Dovefeather?" He stretched out his forelegs, the fur on his spine bristling a little, before relaxing and turning his attention back to Dovefeather.

Dovefeather rolled onto her stomach and also tucked her paws under her chest, her green eyes bright, "Dunno," She paused, gazing around some more, "Maybe visit the stream?" She asked, turning her face back to him, the fluff on her cheeks blowing in the breeze. She purred.
After a moment, she curled her tail around her form, and nestled deeper into the ground, "It's so comfy here though..."

Voleheart's light brown-tipped tail gave a swish, a purr rising in the tom's throat when he felt the crisp grass brush over it. The tom's amber eyes turned to Dovefeather as she turned her face to look at him, watching with twitching whiskers as the fluff on her cheeks blew a bit in the breeze. Amused, he gave a low purr and heaved himself into a sitting position, arching his back and stretching out his forelegs in a stretch.
"Nyaa..." he yawned in a muffled voice, coming out of his stretch and settling himself back on his haunches as he wrapped his tail over his paws. "It is," he agreed with a nod, his gaze averting to the tree nearby. "Very peaceful." The end of Voleheart's tail gave a little twitch.

Dovefeather purred and rolled along the grass, gently colliding into Voleheart with her eyes dancing in amusement. "Hiya," She squeaked when she bumped into him; she was blinded by brown fur until she lifted her head back and blinked her eyes. The orbs of green stared down at the tomcat and she couldn't help but mrrow with laughter.
She sat up but didn't jump off, deciding to hold him down.
The she-cat flicked her long, fluffy tail and smiled down at him, her fur ruffled and disheveled. "Even when I don't mean to, I can still tackle you down," Dovefeather growled good-naturely, her ears pricking up at the prospect and she grinned-- her pearly white teeth glinting in the sunlight. "Can't take me!" She challenged smugly.
Dovefeather was actually having a really good time for once, usually she'd just go along duties, eat when hungry, joke, then head to sleep when needed. It was fun just to play for once.

He opened an eye when Dovefeather ran into him and let out a small mrrow of laughter. "Hello there," he purred lowly, his white tipped ears swiveling in the long furred, white she-cat's direction; when she suddenly sat up and held him down.
Easily, seeing as he wasn't entirely expecting her to do so. He could still feel a purr vibrating in his throat as Dovefeather looked down at him, her long fluffy tail giving a short flick before she spoke. Voleheart let out a low chuckle, his white tipped ears flicking forwards. "Pah. I just wasn't expecting it," he countered.
The tom smirked at her challenge, his whiskers twitching with amusement, "I bet I could!" he mewed, wriggling his shoulders under Dovefeather's grip, he pushed up lightly into her stomach with his hind paws, trying to push her off without hurting her in any way.

"Pah. I just wasn't expecting it."
Dovefeather cocked a brow and smirked, and then she let out a little squeal as he wiggled his shoulders and gently began to press up onto her underbelly. Choking purrs erupted from her chest and she flopped off of him and into the grass; she released a soft hmph as she landed with her back on the greenery. Dovefeather gasped once realizing what had happened, and then she quickly began to roll away.
She wasn't that good... and only got about three mousetails between them. Dovefeather was never the ground squirrel.
The white warrior blinked, grass clung to her fur and one blade stuck to her forehead. She began to purr so hard her entire little frame began to vibrate, "I-I won't be too sure," she retorted merrily.
As she gazed into his warm amber eyes, she felt a spark of glee light the pathway from her heart and to her paws. He was so fun!

Voleheart, still purring with amusement, watched as Dovefeather let out a squeal and plopped on her back into the grass near him with a, 'Hmph'. He could still feel the purr vibrating in his throat, and his ears had flicked in Dovefeather's direction. He truely couldn't recall the last time he had actually tried to have fun. It was...Nice.
The brown cat rolled onto his side so he was facing Dovefeather, his head still lying in the grass, he couldn't help but give a mrrow of laughter when he noticed the grass blades sticking everywhere to the she-cat's soft white fur. "I see." Voleheart stretched his paws out, blinded by his own fur for a minute before tucking his paws back and rolling onto his belly. This reminded him of his apprentice days. Being rather...Carefree then.
He turned his head to look back at Dovefeather, chuckling softly when he finally noticed her frame vibrating from her purr. His tail gave a swish as he watched the she-cat, his ears perked forwards. When was the last time he'd actually tried to lighten up and have fun? Starclan knew that one. Maybe Dovefeather just brought out the best in him.

Dovefeather struggled to her paws and then quickly began to pick the shreds of green off of her white fur, her teeth working swiftly. "Oh, you see don't you?" She teased. After a moment, she cleared all of the grass except for the one on her forehead. She rasped her tongue over her paw and drew it close to her face, the blade fluttered to the ground. Dovefeather released an exhausted sigh, "For StarClan's sake! First you nearly fall out of a tree and then you try to kill me with purrs. What have you done?" She mrrowed happily.
After a moment of silence; she yawned and blinked sleepily. After this, however, she scowled good-naturely and bounced to her paws; Dovefeather began prancing around the hollow, her tail waving behind her. "Let's do something, Voleheart! I'm bored of being lazy like you!" She purred, her green eyes sparkling.
