Roleplayer Information:
Name / Nickname: Battooth/Battie
Number of characters: A lot
Character Information:Name: Maplestar
Age: 54 moons
Gender: Tom
Rank: Leader
Clan: EarthClan
Appearance: A light brown tabby with blue eyes. He has a spot on his chest that his mother was convinced looked like a maple leaf. He is large and well muscled.
Personality: He tries to be as fair and as just, as he can be. He’s overall an easy-going cat, but when the warrior code is in question he gets very stern, sometimes angry. In battle he is feirce, but always keeps his head. He values loyalty very highly, and friendships higher.
Kin: All dead and gone
Mate/Crush: None
Kits: None
Apprentice: Open
History: As a kit, Maplestar was very lively, and tried to help the Clan as best as he could. He caught his first mouse at 5 moons, and spent a lot of time with the elders, partly because he loved stories, partly because he admired the old cats.
As an apprentice, he did his best to make his mentor proud. He learned to use his superior weight to his advantage and how to make it so that weight doesn’t ruin a hunt. His mentor died before his training finished and the previous leader Blazingstar took over his learning.
Maplepelt the warrior was a fiercely loyal cat, almost to the point of recklessness. He listened to his leader’s words as if they were words from StarClan themselves, and in battle he fought rather stupidly, if to just protect his Clan and Clanmates.
When Blazingstar died about two seasons after making Maplepelt his deputy, Maplepelt assumed position as leader. He went to Mooncave and spoke with StarClan, receiving his ninth life from Blazingstar. He returned to his Clan as Maplestar and began leading his Clan. Nothing truly bad has happened so far with his Clan, other than a badger that moved in for a while and killed a few valued warriors. After it was driven out, the Clan settled down.
Roleplay Sample:
A large light tabby shape moved out of his den, his blue eyes taking in his Clan. He blinked groggily as the sun hit him right in the face, and then gathered himself to leap to the top of the Highrock. His claws scrabbled on the ancient surface before he pulled himself the rest of the way up.
The camp was already buzzing with activity, and the tabby spotted a few of his warriors hanging around. The newest warrior seemed to be making friends well, the tabby noticed. Battooth was already bugging him. The EarthClan leader purred to himself. The black warrior had always been like that. When Battooth had been just an apprentice, he had always been bugging the older warriors with overatures of friendliness.
The large tom sat down on top of the Highrock and began grooming his paws, swiping them over his ears every once in a while. A closer look revealed what his mother had been convinced was a maple leaf. Believing it to be a sign from StarClan, he had been named Maplekit, then Maplepaw, Maplepelt, and finally Maplestar, leader of EarthClan.
He was proud of his accomplishments. Proud that he had been in many battles and survived, proud that he had become deputy, and proud that he had become leader, a leader who had been able to deal with his first seasons rather well.
Maplestar yawned again as he finished cleaning his ears, and then leaped down from the Highrock, trotting to the fresh-kill pile. Selecting a rabbit, he dug in, polishing the unlucky creature off quickly, then burying the remains. He swiped his tongue around his mouth a few times, ready for the day to begin.
