The wind picked up, whistling rather eerily through Ivorywing's ears. Shivering slightly at the force of the wind, she sat down, her tail curled around her petite frame and resting lightly on top of her dainty paws. Feeling rather nerve-wracked, she looked around for Musicsoul, hoping that the other medicine she-cat would come soon. Her green eyes were still filled with fear at the latest statement and prediction that StarClan had shared with her. In her dream, she had seen Dewstripe - a cat who had died out of loneliness for the tomcat known as Raytail - who had given her this warning. Tilting her head to the side and trying to make sense of the message, Ivorywing continued waiting for Musicsoul, sending up a prayer to StarClan that the other medicine cat would know what she could do.
"StarClan..." she whispered softly. "Help guide me... There's a fox settled in EarthClan territory... It's late leaf-fall and prey is getting scarce... There's many problems and I can't solve this one... Please show me the answer..." Ivorywing added in a soft murmur, gazing up at the skies to see many stars glittering in Silverpelt.

The small medicine cat of SkyClan was leaping over the grassy fields of the meadow. The grass was much taller then she was, and she always had a bit of trouble navigating through this area. She paused, glancing up at thte sky. She smiled as she saw the half moon shining down on her, with stars glittering all around it. Her own violet eyes sparkled back at them, looking fairly cheerful. There wasn't much going wrong in her own territory, and she was enjoying the break. She twitched her tail-tip and made a large jump scanning the field rappidly. She spotted Ivorywing and continued to leap over the grass in the other medicine cat's direction.

The wind blew straight to Ivorywing, allowing her to pick up the scent of Musicsoul - the medicine cat of SkyClan - who was bounding towards her. "Hello, Musicsoul," she called out quietly to the fellow medicine cat once Musicsoul was within hearing range. Most warriors couldn't really get over the fact that the medicine cat was so small, but Ivorywing saw nothing wrong with it. As long as a medicine cat did their duty correctly, there was nothing wrong about their size or the way they looked.
"I have much to tell you on our way to the Mooncave," she told the other she-cat, looking up at the sky and praying to StarClan who were all in Silverpelt. Hopefully Musicsoul would have advice on how to handle her situations and the strange prophecy that StarClan had given her in her dreams.

"Hello!" Musicsoul called back. When she had reached the other medicine cat she stopped, looking up. "What's wrong?" (writers block )

Ivorywing blinked greatfully at the other medicine cat for figuring out that she needed to speak to her. "It's a lot of things," the white she-cat began, looking up at Silverpelt again, expecting some sort of guidance to help her tell Musicsoul these things. Glancing at the other medicine cat, she felt as if she could even trust her on life to Musicsoul.
Jerking her elegant head in the direction of the Mooncave, she stood up and began padding, pausing for a moment to glance over her shoulder to make sure that Musicsoul was following her. "It's the Clan. We have a lot of dramas and things going on, not to mention a fox that has settled near our Camp and might pick off some of our cats one by one. Also, we're quickly running out of fresh-kill since it's late leaf-fall, although I'm sure SkyClan must be experiencing at least some difficulties like that." she told Musicsoul, starting with the simple and basic everyday Clan news that medicine cats normally shared.
Swallowing rather anxiously, she opened her mouth to tell Musicsoul about the warning she had recieved from StarClan. "In my dreams, StarClan came to me," she began nervously, "and Dewstripe wanted to warn me to 'beware a cat that is beneath my layers of my trust'." Not knowing what else to do, she concentrated her green gaze on her dainty paws that moved lightly underneath her.

Musicsoul looked thoughtful, "For the fox, I'd suggest that you get a team of warriors to drive it off. Make them intellegent and quick though. Actually... All intellegent, and a mixture of speed and strength. Make the fox really rember that the are is not a good place to stay. Hopefully it won't be too agressive. It might just need a place to stay for Leaf-Bare." She thought again, "As for your dream? I don't there is much you can do about that. I've found that when you have a prophesy that has to do with trusting cats who are not to be trusted, there really isn't much you can do. You'll end up trusting the cat, no matter what StarClan says. I know that isn't helpful, but that is the best advice I can give you. Just prepare for more trouble, and don't be surprised when it happens."

Ivorywing nodded, finding truth in the female medicine cat's words. "I guess so," she meowed, rolling her eyes mentally at herself for not having thought of the solution to the fox. Well, it was a rather simple solution -- Maplestar would probably easily agree to the fox situation once she relayed Musicsoul's advice to the thoughtful leader.
Much as she didn't want to believe it, Ivorywing knew that what Musicsoul said was true, about being aware of a cat that she trusted but that would probably end up betraying her Clan and her Clanmates. Suddenly, it felt as if all the Clan's problems were weighted down on her small shoulders. She knew though that she couldn't complain -- after all, she had chosen the path of medicine cat willingly and now it had come time for her to fulfill the position properly.
Ivorywing's dainty white paws continued to fall lightly upon the ground as the two medicine cats covered much of the ground. Sooner or later, they would make it to the Mooncave and to the Mooncrystal. Glancing up, she saw through her bright green eyes that the Mooncave was up ahead, looking gloomy and dank. "There it is," she meowed faintly, entering the cave.
