Skypaw watched as Azelealeaf looked at Ravenfeather, and chuckled to herself as she saw a glimmer of affection in her eyes. Skypaw decided to talk to Azelealeaf, maybe ask her about Ravenfeather. She picked up a rabbit and brought it over to Azelealeaf. "Want to share?" she asked politely. "Or would you rather share with someone else, maybe Ravenfeather?" She hinted, laughter in her beautiful blue and lavender eyes.

Azalealeaf looked at the she-cat apprentice, wondering how the apprentice knew about her slight affection for the obsidian colored tomcat. She flicked Skypaw's ears with her tails, amusement glinting slightly in her own eyes. She knew that she could trust Skypaw to not blurt out her secret to the whole entire Clan. "I'll take my chances with you, for now," Azalealeaf told the she-cat apprentice, sneaking a quick glance in Ravenfeather's direction. "I'm not /so/ hopelessly lost in love with him..." she meowed. Thinking better of her comment, she quickly added, "...Yet."

Skypaw let out a purr of laughter. At least there was some new news for her, and who knows? Maybe in a long number of moons, there would be new kits in the Clan. "So, do you suppose you're going to tell him you like him, or--" Skypaw got cut off by another cat. To her suprise, it was Ravenfeather. "Hi, Azelealeaf" Ravenfeather greeted the beautiful white she cat, rather shyly. It was obvious to Skypaw that Ravenfeather was starting to fall in love Azelealeaf, as she was with him. Skypaw smiled to herself, then sat down a few tail length away, and groomed her glowing silver tabby pelt.

"Good day, Ravenfeather," Azalealeaf responded to the tomcat, equally as timid and shy as she saw Skypaw settle down a few tail-lengths away. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Cloudpuff sitting outside of Musicsoul's den, his fur bristling at something... Strange...
And then all of a sudden, a white blur of fur darted out in front of her. Instantly, Azalealeaf recognized the scent as Cloudpuff's. His fur was still bristling. Wondering what had happened, she opened her mouth to speak, but Cloudpuff touched his tail tip to her mouth to tell her not to speak.
"What do you want with my sister?" Cloudpuff hissed at Ravenfeather, golden copper eyes sparked with anger towards the tomcat and protectiveness for his sister. His tail lashed out at the ground, mere mouse-lengths away from Azalealeaf's paws.
"Cloudpuff!" Azalealeaf spat her brother's name out, her ears tilting back, almost pressing hard against her cranium. "He's not going to kill me or you and I advise that you get out of the way before /I/ kill you," she hissed at her brother.
Cloudpuff remained where he was, his lips parted in the beginning of a snarl as he confronted the obsidian warrior for speaking to his sister. "I'll leave him alone when I understand what he wants from you," he hissed in reply to Azalealeaf's comments.

Ravenfeather jumped back in surprise. "I-I-I j-j-ust wanted to eat with her" He stuttered. "I can leave if you want." Skypaw pushed in between Azelealeaf and Cloudpuff, fur bristling. "Cloudpuff!" She hissed. "Why would you think Ravenfeather would try to hurt Azelealeaf?" Skypaw's blue and lavender eyes were filled with anger, as Ravenfeather's were filled with hurt. Ravenfeather was a very easy cat to hurt.

Cloudpuff opened his mouth to snap a retort to the comments that Ravenfeather and Skypaw gave him, but he felt a jab hit his side. Looking behind him, he saw that Azalealeaf had struck him with her paw, her own fur bristling out of frustration against her brother. "He won't kill me!" she repeated stubbornly, agitation passing through her eyes at Cloudpuff's foolishness. "I'll be all right. I can take care of myself, Cloudpuff," she hissed at him, her own tail lashing out against the ground, her hot-headedness sparking slightly. "I'm not some little helpless kit that can't make decisions for herself, thank you very much," she added, slightly hurt that Cloudpuff didn't believe that she could easily fend for herself if Ravenfeather showed any signs of attempting to do her harm -- something she believed he would never try to do. After living in the Clan for so long, Azalealeaf thought that Cloudpuff would've known that Ravenfeather was more of the placid and calm type.
Cloudpuff whipped around to face his sister. "But who knows what he can do to you?" he hissed at his sister, mistrust for the obsidian warrior behind him showing clearly in his golden brown eyes.
Azalealeaf looked at her brother, perplexed although she knew that her brother meant well for her. "I haven't stopped you from loving a she-cat, and I believe you should be able to leave me alone with another Clanmate for a few moments!" she answered, turning her gaze that blazed with intense anger onto him.
Cloudpuff looked away. He knew that he couldn't get Azalealeaf to understand. Padding away, he sat down a length away from the cats. Perhaps he wasn't angry at Azalealeaf at all, just the fact that Inkpaw had left Camp with Dreampaw for reasons he didn't know of.

Ravenfeather wasn't sure if he should stay with Azelealeaf right now. "Maybe we can eat together later. Sorry for bothering you." He said, regret in his voice. He still loved Azelealeaf intensely, for she reminded him of his first love - Gentlepaw, who joined StarClan before she earned herwarrior name. They were made for each other, both even tempers, Gentlepaw more than Ravenfeather, and loved each other with the power of StarClan. Since they were kits, they had loved each other, and had a special connection with each other.
Ravenfeather shook his head as his silver and blue tinted eyes began to water. He wished he could go to the Mooncryatsl and speak to her, ask her if it was okay to love Azelealeaf, but no cat was allowed to go to the Mooncrystal whenever they wanted except a Clan leader.

"It's all right," Azalealeaf responded to the ebony pelted warrior. "Cloudpuff is a bit... tempered at times," she meowed to the tomcat, watching Cloudpuff stalk away, his fur still on end. "But then again, I do too..." she began, then trailed off, continuing to look at her brother. She didn't know how to feel -- frustrated at Cloudpuff for interrupting her conversation with Ravenfeather or loving him in their family connection even more for the fact that he was so protective of her. She decided to remain neutral so that she didn't appear unfair to anyone, although she longed to go give Cloudpuff a good tongue lashing that he wouldn't easily forget.
"All right, later," Azalealeaf responded to Ravenfeather's first comment, although she longed to simply curl up beside him or eat with him now. Sneaking a few side glances towards her brother, though, she could easily tell that while he had left her and Ravenfeather alone, that didn't stop him from watching them and still feeling agitated at a distance. Ravenfeather decided to ask Cloudpuff what was wrong. As the sleek black warrior reached the younger white warrior, he sat down about a tail length away from him. Ravenfeather'd soft blue and silver haze met Cloudpuff's intense golden amber gaze. "Whats wrong?" Ravenfeather asked, for he knew something was wrong. "Why are you so protective of Azelealeaf? Other than the fact shes your sister." He added, because the tough young warrior would probebly try to conceal the real problem with that fact.

Cloudpuff's pelt bristled slightly as the dark warrior confronted him. Why did everyone have to be on his back these days? "It's true that I'm worried for her because she's my sister," he began, restating the obvious. He blinked his copper eyes, contemplating over how to tell Ravenfeather how he felt.
Really, how did he truly feel? Surely he was feeling protective for his sister, Azalealeaf, but there was something else that made his emotions feel rather uneasy. Mentally, he asked himself furiously so that he could have a suitable answer for Ravenfeather, but when he finally came across the answer, he felt rather disgusted with himself. So that was the reason why.
He had seen Azalealeaf's affection for Ravenfeather and vice versa, and it had made him jealous of the fact that Dreampaw didn't love him back, no matter how strongly he believed she would finally fall for him one day. Feeling rather sick, he looked at Ravenfeather, not wanting to respond to the tomcat's question. He knew though, that he would have to answer to fill up the silence.
"It's the fact that Dreampaw doesn't love me back while I'm sure you two were absolutely meant for each other," Cloudpuff began, "to tell the truth, there are times when I doubt that Dreampaw and I were meant to be together." He looked sadly at the ground before spitting out what he knew for sure. "...I guess I'm just a little jealous." he finished.
After a while, though, he added, "But I'm also afraid for her. I'm afraid for her heart to be broken, just as I'm afraid that Dreampaw will break mine if she falls for another tomcat that isn't me."

Flamefoot and Mistheart ambled towards the fresh-kill pile, took a single rabbit, then padded back to Onespot. The three sat down to eat together, Mistheart purring happily. She had true friends in these two cats, no matter how much Onespot denied it. She finished quickly, ran her tongue over Flamefoot's missing ear, then was about to give Onespot's ear a lick but decided against it. He seemed like he wouldn't appreciate that. Onespot caught a glimpse of Mistheart's movements out of the corner of his eye and turned away from the rabbit for a moment to give her cheek a quick lick, then returned to his meal, leaving the gray she-cat with sparklingly happy amber eyes.

Ravenfeather's eyes clouded with sympathy for the young warrior. "I don't exactly know how you feel, but I understand. I know it's hard losing a cat you love..." Ravenfeather trailed off, thinking about Gentlepaw. "But maybe Dreampaw will fall in love with you, maybe you just have to wait." That was pretty much all Ravenfeather could say, because he didn't know what it was like to be seeming losing a cat in the way Cloudpuff meant. He only knew the greater grives of losing one to StarClan.

"But your brother Inkpaw!" Cloudpuff spat out, referring to the black pelted tomcat's kin. "He's next to her side everyday and doesn't even let me exchange more than a few greetings with Dreampaw! How am I supposed to get her to fall in love with me if I can barely have time to speak to her?" he asked, copper colored eyes gleaming with desperation for advice as his tail twitched impatiently, wanting the answer to all his questions to be solved.
How would Ravenfeather reacct? Would he spring to the defense of Inkpaw or would he acknowledge calmly how Inkpaw acted? Cloudpuff knew that Ravenfeather was more of the calm, placid type, but even cats like that could easily get hot-headed when their kin was being talked about behind their backs and rudely.
--x
Azalealeaf watched as Ravenfeather spoke with Cloudpuff. With slight amusement, she acknowledged the fact that while Ravenfeather's pelt was a pure obsidian raven black, Cloudpuff's was a pure white -- the shade hers was, in fact.
Traces of pity as well as affection danced through her eyes as she gazed at Ravenfeather, remembering briefly how he had lost his first love -- Gentlepaw -- to the ranks of StarClan. She couldn't help but think that if Gentlepaw were still alive, would she still feel affection for Ravenfeather or perhaps another tomcat warrior?
She shook her head at these thoughts; she wasn't a cat that fell in love quite easily. There were numerous things she looked for in tomcats that she would love and she was quite cautious although Cloudpuff probably thought differently.

Bravepaw's eyes flew open and he lept to his paws. He didn't intend to sleep or even nap for such a long time. Deep blue eyes flashed around then his paws carried him out of the loomy apprentices' den. The sun was shining brightly outside on the moorland. The tom gazed around, no sign of Silverpaw...or Inkpaw.
His claws flexed as he drew in the air, Silverpaw's sweet, wildflower like scent was stale. With an lash of his tail he closed his eyes and forced himself to be calm then checked around camp as fast as he could. Feeling alarmed that he couldn't find the beautiful she-cat, Bravepaw stalked over to Azlealeaf.
"Have you seen Silverpaw?" he tried to sound casual but the look on his face seemed too obvious that he was fustrated and flustered.

"Looking for her, aren't you?" Azalealeaf meowed, stating the obvious as her tail arched in a manner that she always put it in when she was amused at something. "She's gone off to the ridge, probably hunting or something. Dreampaw and Inkpaw left a little while later, Inkpaw trying to impress Dreampaw."
Azalealeaf looked at the younger cat, reprimanding herself mentally to not purr with laughter at the tomcat apprentice's protectiveness over Silverpaw.
