The loneliest days of his life had just begun.
This one seemed to be the most loneliest day of his life.
Such a lonely day--he couldn't stand it.
This day had begun for him roughly a few steps-from-the-sun ago. He had begun when it was still dawn, the sunlight barely peeking over the canopy of the white trees, glinting with icicles and snow. Hours had passed, and while he had told the border patrol he was only getting a drink and that he preferred the lakeside's water more than any stream or frozen puddle, he saw their skeptically-accusing eyes. How fast had it taken for Maplestar to give this news to them? Who else had he told?
Swallowing hard, he released a slow breath, forcing himself not to watch as the steam rolled from his dark nostrils and disappeared into the chilly air. The tawny tom shuddered, giving his coat a good shake as if getting rid of the cold that nipped through his skin and cracked his bones. Eagledance brought his brows together, whiskers stiff as they jutted out from beside his nose. What seemed like billions of thoughts and wonders had gone through his mind all of this time as he made his way towards the lakeside, finally being able to see the rippled, half-frozen surface of the water that separated him from her.
The exotic-blooded feline padded sluggishly on top of a small boulder that hung not more than two foxlengths from the bank of the lake, his small, lithe paws making odd pawprints. Not only was his body type and skeletal structure different, but the form of his paws as well. They seemed almost too small for the size of his golden paws. Eagledance exhaled. Brilliant, eagle-golden eyes searched dazedly around the lakeside, the she-cat staying on his mind, prodding him to dash across the border and find Silverpaw. However his determination to get loyalty and respect from his new clan was holding him back with tight chains.
Thus, Eagledance waited for his love.

Silverpaw & Bravepaw walking.through.the.pawsteps.of.fate Silverpaw danced through the sand, her fur blowing gently in the breeze, her crystalline eyes glowing with laughter. A young tomcat galloped after the pretty silver apprentice, he jumped high from the excitement before charging ahead. "You silly fur ball!" The she-cat cried after him then she leaped onto a small log, at once Bravepaw came running over and sat down. "You ready?" she breathed, her pelt shining like silver fire in the sunlight. The tomcat nodded his head enthusiastically, his dark blue eyes gleaming with affection, it was obvious he knew was coming up next. Silverpaw blinked, her heart aching to see a certain golden pelt but she had to make sure it didn't look like she was deliberately looking for someone, the she-cat lifted her elegant head to the sky and began to sing to the world. Her voice rang clear, fluid and welcoming to the lake side water and to the grey tom, Bravepaw. "Head underwater And they tell me To breathe easy for a while Breathing gets harder, even I know that Made room for me; but it's too soon to see If I'm happy in your paws I'm unusually hard to hold on to" Silverpaw strutted along the log, her tail waving behind in her amusement, she got to the end and made a flying leap off of it. For a moment the apprentice seemed to stay in the air, floating like a StarClan cat before landing neatly on the ground and continuing. Bravepaw padded forward to walk beside her. "Blank stares at blank sands No easy way to say this You mean well, but you make this hard on me
I'm not gonna sing you a love song 'cause you asked for it 'cause you need one, you see I'm not gonna sing you a love song 'cause you tell me it's Make or break in this If you're on your way I'm not gonna ask you to stay If all you have is leavin', Imma need a better reason To sing you a love song today" Bravepaw sat back on his haunches and sang the last word. "Today~~" The she-cat purred in laughter, watching him then started: "I learned the hard way That they all say Things you want to hear And my heavy heart sinks deep down under you and Your twisted words, Your help just hurts You are not what I thought you were Hello to high and dry
Convinced me to please you Made me think that I need this too I'm trying to let you hear me as I am" Her voice floated along the breeze, secretly inside she wanted it to be carried to Eagledance, where ever the tomcat was. Silverpaw only wanted to see him again, there was a connection between them and she could feel it pulsing within her heart. "I'm not gonna sing you a love song 'cause you asked for it 'cause you need one, you see I'm not gonna sing you a love song 'cause you tell me it's Make or break in this If you're on your way I'm not gonna ask you to stay If all you have is leavin', Imma need a better reason To sing you a love song today" She looked up at the sky where the cats of StarClan forever hunted among the stars, her eyes glittering as she slowed down on her catchy tune, her fur rippling. "Promise me that you'll leave the light on To help me see with daylight, my guide, gone 'cause I believe there's a way you can love me Because I say I won't write you a love song 'cause you asked for it 'cause you need one, you see"Silverpaw looked back at Bravepaw. "I'm not gonna sing you a love song 'cause you tell me it's make or break in this Is that why you wanted a love song 'cause you asked for it 'cause you need one, you see I'm not gonna sing you a love song 'cause you tell me it's make or break in this If you're on your way I'm not gonna ask you to stay If your heart is nowhere in it I don't want it for a minute Babe, I'll walk the seven waters when I believe that There's a reason to Sing you a love song today"Bravepaw lifted his chin and finished the song. "Today~~"Both of the apprentices purred, "Wow, Silverpaw..." Bravepaw meowed after a while, gazing at her with happiness "Your singing is absolutely beautiful. Did you know that? I'm surprised you don't sing like this at SkyClan camp." Silverpaw looked down at her paws and flushed, Oh, StarClan! Does always have to do this? I-I liked it better when I didn't know he loved me... I was so much more care free back then. The she-cat's icy-blue eyes flickered up from the ground and rested on Bravepaw's beaming face. "You're just saying that to flatter me," she purred in laughter. --------x youtube.com/watch?v=d9_w4sRv338 <--- Mooosic

Oakheart padded tiredly through the hot sand, his ears tilting to the sides as he dragged one paw after the other, then he saw Eagledance. Thank StarClan! I thought I had run all the way through the forest after leaving Songbreeze behind just to find out he wasn't here! What. A. Relief. The tabby tom closed his eyes, grabbing the little engery left, before charging forward. He could feel the sand through his pink pads.
The feline skidded to a stop next to Eagledance, Oakheart swallowed down his accent, he only really felt comfortable allowing it to flow around Songbreeze. "Hey," he meowed catching his breath, "Sorry I wasn't here on time, Songbreeze and I had been in the forest hunting for pr-..." he stopped talking noticing the look on his friends face. "What's up?" He asked, his tail flicking back and fourth behind him.
Oakheart blinked, settling down next to him, "C'mon, you still aren't worrying over Maplestar and your punishment?" The tabby asked then continued on without an answer. "The past is behind us, just get over it. I mean, you and me are bound to get in more trouble before we join StarClan... Am I not right?"
The warrior's ears pricked up, his pupils narrowing suddenly, " 'Agle---" Oakheart coughed to make it sound as though he hadn't meant to pronounced Eagledance's name as so. "Eagledance...? Can you hear that?" The feline asked curiously, he closed his eyes focusing on the sound harder only to found a soft, catchy melody from- from SkyClan territory? "Mhmmmm... strange," he murmured, glancing back.

Words of intangible meaning floated through his mind, trembling with thoughts and curses, wicked nightmares and wonderful dreams. In a certain manner, he used to rule the world. He would sweep the streets he roamed; feel the fear in his enemy and prey's eyes. Not any more, no, now he felt nothing. The world didn't belong to him anymore--it was all out of his hands.
Brilliant sharp ovals of glistening golden blinked into focus as the soil beneath his flexible body pressed downwards, giving him the feeling that another being was settled next to him. Eagledance looked next to him, surveyed the tomcat for a brief moment, and then murmured a soft word of apology. "I'm feart I am lettin' m'self get a tad con'ern'd ov'r all o' this. Now, me arse is want'd from th' 'ole clan, eh?" the tawny tom replied, dropping his gaze to a speckle of ivory earth below him. So untainted, pure, and beautiful. "Aye, I guess you're right, Oak'eart."
Once Oakheart had mentioned singing, the tom's head snapped up, eyelids pulling back to reveal wide and anxious eyes. Ebony ears, tall and erect, captured the sound abruptly and fed it into his eardrums, which beat heavily and accurately to a rhythm of the song, pure as the melting earth. Immediately he could recognize the angellic tone, the whispers of words fluttering to him like the soft beat of a dove's wings.
"Sil'erpaw!" The name rang out from his jowls, his heart beating like a mouse's, hard and fast.

Silverpaw&Bravepaw walking.through.the.pawsteps.of.fate
"Oh Silverpaw, I just love how your aqua blue eyes are so beautiful. How they sparkle and gleam in the sunshine making those who look at you feel as though they are swimming through them. Your fur--" Bravepaw continued to praise, his eyes glazed over as he gazed at his love, he was captivated by her looks and everything she did. There was one thing he failed to realize though, she was uncomfortable with him talking to her like that...
Silverpaw shuffled her paws and faked a smile, just as Bravepaw was getting to her structure she cut him off, "Oh, uhm, want to look at the water? Its really pretty." He nodded his head and padded over to the water in a slightly dazed way-- the metallic silver she-cat exhaled deeply before numbly fallowing him.
Who was I to think he'd be here? I'm so stupid, she thought miserably.
Suddenly, out of the blue her name was yowled, lighting splayed across her pelt. She knew that voice! She let out a sharp gasp, about to fallow it when she felt fur brush her side. "I'll protect you! Its probably some EarthClan scum!" Bravepaw rumbled and gave her ear a swift lick, he must have thought she was scared.
Scum?! Fury raced through her veins setting her fur to spike and new icy flames lit in her eyes. The silver apprentice had never been this angry in her life, irritated yes but not this angry. Silverpaw gritted her teeth to stop herself from blowing up in Bravepaw's ear. Eagledance was not scum!! "I'll be okay, Bravepaw" she hissed quietly through her ivory teeth. Anger bubbled within.
The grey tomcat twined his tail with her own and pressed his whole body against her, Silverpaw felt her claws dig rake the sand and looked down at the ground. Ugh! I'm not a helpless kit anymore! I can defend myself! Can't you see that?! Apparently not...
Taking in a gulp of air she lifted her finely shaped head and gazed out over the expanse of sand before them. Anger was lost and replaced by nervousness-- Oh StarClan he is actually coming~! Feeling rather conscious of herself Silverpaw stole a glance at Bravepaw before giving her chest a few swift licks.

The tabby tom smirked, about to reply, when Eagledance howled in excitement. Oakheart eyes flew wide open and he had to stop himself from falling over-- Silverpaw?! She wasn't in EarthClan! She was in... SkyClan. The warrior felt his stomach drop, "Eagledance?" He whispered as he stared at his friend in surprise. The larger tomcat look so excited that even Oakheart could feel the waves riding off of him.
Oh, StarClan...
Even as disappointed as he was Oakheart would stand by Eagledance until he died, "I guess you don't want to miss her... let's go," he grumbled before rising to his hurting paws once more. "C'mon!" Giving Eagledance a moment to prepare himself for the dash the tabby tom stretched his limbs in a quick manner. He still ached a little from running from the heart of the forest to the lakeside. Songbreeze... we'll meet again real soon....
"I won't ask you any questions about this but just know I'm surprised."

Suddenly he felt cold, his heart thrusting into his ribcage with fearful beats, stomach locking into itself for protection from allowing any of its day-old contaminants from escaping into the outside world. How could he forget? This was forbidden--very, very forbidden.
However as soon as his comrade had begun to dash off, his body began to tense in another manner; excitement flexed his muscles into long bounds of adrenaline, a broad grin pulling his ebony lips back. Eagledance soon came up to Oakheart's side, grinning with all of the light of the world illuminating upon his sleek, chiseled facial frame. The golden tomcat, rejuvenated with the youth of trust and companionship, breathed the warrior's name with the air of eternal greatfulness.
"Oak'eart."
Flexible paws and acrobatic body moved together fluidly, spine arching like the cheetahs his ancestors had seen catch their prey all too many times. His lithe body carried him fast and smoothly, paws seeming to never touch the ground as he sprinted, full-throttle until his illuminescent golden eyes caught sight of that beautiful silver coat.
"Sil'erpaw!"

Silverpaw&Bravepaw walking.through.the.pawsteps.of.fate "Sil'erpaw!"
As Eagledance cried out her name she had to stop a shudder from passing through, it sounded so rich and honey-filled coming from him, inside she felt herself grow hot. Exhaling deeply, Silverpaw dug her claws into the sandy ground, her icy blue eyes glittered in barely suppressed excitement.
Watching now as his supple muscles moved through his golden pelt and those piercing yet soft golden eyes gleamed in the sunlight, Silverpaw felt even more hot, the silver apprentice had to stop herself from rushing to him. Trying desperately to even her quickening breath she turned to look at Bravepaw who was gazing back at her rather suspiciously.
"How does he know your name?"
Silverpaw blinked, thinking fast, before meowing her reply. "At the last Gathering, Eagledance is friendly so I'm sure he isn't going to fight us or anything. Probably just going to say hello." She saw Bravepaw's ear twitch and he was silent for a moment.
"Well, the Gathering is over so we still have to be careful, Silverpaw." Without giving her a chance to say anything else, Bravepaw took a step in front of her in a protective stance, his chest puffing out and his dark sapphire blue eyes narrowing. "If he starts acting funny or anything out of the ordinary happens I'll defend you so don't worry your little heart, all right?" The tom rumbled before twining their tails.
A light shade of annoyance passed through he eyes but after a few moments Eagledance had arrived in front of them. "Hi, Eagledance~" Silverpaw meowed, forcing the purr that was bubbling in her throat away, "Uhm, this is Bravepaw..."
The grey apprentice lifted his chin.
As this was going on Silverpaw felt a sudden stone of unhappiness settle in her heart-- how do I even know he likes me? I tried to rid of my feelings but I now know they must be real... he might just think I'm just a normal old apprentice. Some of the shining hope in her chest ebbed away slightly until she pulled a jovial thought into her mind, that didn't explain how he was treating me when Wintersong was there!

The tabby tom didn't say anything as he stopped next to Eagledance, as he gazed at the she-cat before him he realized how his friend might have fallen for her. She was rather pretty but that still didn't mean it wasn't against the Warrior Code. His fiery amber eyes flickered to her companion, he looked like he was protecting her from them but Silverpaw seemed slightly irritated with him. He did look a little overprotective.
As thoughts passed though he didn't speak. He would wait until Eagledance spoke first then he fallow.

Maybe he was just blind. Maybe he was just blind.
Pushing off with leanly-bound thigh muscles, the acrobatic feline leaped high into the cool air, landing elegantly in a crouch a few inches from where the apprentice tom guarded his jewel. He rose to his feet, standing tall to show his full 97cm-length body. Tawny pelt catching the sun's eyelashes, the feral caracal glanced down upon the two, eagle-like eyes straying to Silverpaw's crystalline eyes for a brief moment.
Silverpaw was Eagledance's starlight.
However, out of pure politeness, the lean lynx-like feline pivoted his black ears, obsidian tufts twitching with the swift flicking movement. His whiskers twitched. Studying the male apprentice briefly he concluded that he wasn't a fatal threat; though admiration flooded through his coat for the younger, it took quite a lot of courage to stand up to an odd-looking cat like Eagledance.
The tom took comfort in knowing Oakheart was beside him.
"G'mornin' to ye."

Silverpaw&Bravepaw walking.through.the.pawsteps.of.fate
Bravepaw felt a flicker of uncertainty in his heart as this so called Eagledance straightened his posture-- towering over them like some kind of monster. The grey apprentice's dark blue eyes flickered to Silverpaw to she was gazing up at him with admiration in those beautiful crystalline pools. Silencing a growl of jealousy Bravepaw looked at Eagledance once again. As if things weren't bad enough the weird looking feline's companion came up.
At least he looks like a normal cat...
"Good morning~!" Silverpaw meowed, her melodic voice lingering his ears a few heartbeats. Bravepaw stood taller, guarding her, he was afraid she would just blow over from the wind. She was so delicate to him... anything might just crush her.
"Bravepaw, say hello. Its polite!" She whispered to him, tickling his ear fur a little bit.
Bravepaw grumbled a reply, "We don't need to be polite, Silverpaw, like I said it isn't the Gathering." His dark blue eyes flickered briefly to her face to see her glaring at him giving, him the message. Now. "Hi," he growled through gritted teeth.
"Excuse, Bravepaw, he's just being grumpy today. Its really unlike him," Silverpaw murmured softly, shuffling her paws in embarrassment, she didn't look at Eagledance or Oakheart as she spoke. Bravepaw's ear twitched but he didn't say anything.

"Yes, good morning," Oakheart rumbled, his amber eyes gleaming in the sunlight, gazing at the two now... there seemed to be something off about them. The grey tom was overprotective and Silverpaw, there was something about her that made him confused but he couldn't exactly put his paw on it...
The tabby tom felt the embarrassment flow off of she-cat apprentice. Why is she embarrassed? Its not usual for warriors and apprentices from another Clan to stop and chat with each other anyway-- he's probably just trying to show off or something.

"Havers! I'd huv caw canny, too. I'm a frein, don' be crabbit."
The jealousy was rolling off the tabby's fur like a ferocious wind on the plains, tearing at the grasses and whipping the feeding insects from their meals. It was quite daunting, truth be told. If this tom apprentice were to attack at any given moment then Eagledance would have two choices; flee and risk giving this apprentice the bragging rights, or, fight. The tom prayed he wouldn't have to do either.
It was then that he realized he had spoken in complete slang; they would have no idea what he said. Tall ears twitched backwards in embarassment, he smirked crookedly. "Ah, sorry. I con't git rid o' that' bad habbit." Eagledance found no real use in translating.
Brilliant tawny eyes flickered from the suspicious male apprentice to Silverpaw, lingering upon her delicate face for a moment too long. Short, ebony-tipped tail brushed against strong heels, his docile body swaying in a moment of thought.
"Sil'erpaw?" he asked, gazing with round, opaque pupils at her angellic face. "May I 'ave a word wi't ye?"

Silverpaw&Bravepaw walking.through.the.pawsteps.of.fate
"Havers! I'd huv caw canny, too. I'm a frein, don' be crabbit."
Silverpaw knew exactly what he had said, she smiled and blinked kindly up at him, "Oh its okay-- he must have eaten a bad peice of fresh-kill." The metallic silver apprentice looked at Bravepaw too see him staring up at Eagledance in confusion, his mouth opened to probably say something rude, but Silverpaw quickly stepped on his paw with claws unsheathed. The grey tom clamped his mouth shut and curtly nodded his head to the large golden feline before them.
The she-cat felt some emotion crackling from him, she couldn't understand what it was though, it was too mixed. Bravepaw stepped closer to Silverpaw, his warmth seeping into her, usually she wouldn't have found this okay but not right now. No, she was irritated with him but she didn't say anything.
"Sil'erpaw? May I 'ave a word wi't ye?"
The silver feline trotted around Bravepaw's protective barrier and stood in front of Eagledance, "Sure."
Alarm blazed in Bravepaw's dark sapphire blue eyes, "S-Silverpaaaw! You- you can't--!" He swallowed nervously before meowing quickly, "Its dangerous to go off with enemy warriors!" Bravepaw emphasized 'enemy' by glaring at Eagledance and Oakheart.
Silverpaw exhaled deeply and padded back over to him, lightly touching her nose with his own, her icy blue eyes reassuring. "Bravepaw, they're all right. We're friends, they aren't our enemies." She smiled warmly at him.
"B-but their EarthClan warr--"
The pretty apprentice nuzzled his flank, "I'll be okay, it'll only just be a moment." She whisked away and eased her way back over to Eagledance, eyes shining in the sunlight.
I wonder what he is going to say to me!!

Oakheart shook his head a little before gazing back at Bravepaw, the grey SkyClan apprentice's fur was ruffled in anxiousness and his eyes were wide with some type of emotion. Bravepaw whipped his head to Oakheart, eyes glowing with anger, "If anything happens to her I'll claw your face off!!" He growled then spit at the brown tabby warrior's paws. Bravepaw turned around and stalked a few paces away so there was some distance between them. Oakheart's amber eyes burned with bubbling thoughts but none were spoken.

Wintersong padded at the edge of the lakeside and stared into the water, appearing milk white as it reflected the sky. She let out a breath of air known as a sigh as she thought of Eagledance. As the golden warrior came into her mind, Silverpaw slipped in with him. Anger flashed hot through her body, flickering in her burning amber eyes also. That little silver colored apprentice. That...that... Wintersong couldn't even find words to explain her anger. She just cared so much for Eagledance, and he deserved better than that cheating little apprentice. Besides Silverpaw was already with that grey tom.
The ginger and white colored warrior looked at the cats at the edge of the lake. Oakheart, Eagledance, Silverp--. Eagledance! Wintersong's heart leapt just at the sight of him. But he was with that mouse dung of a cat, Silverpaw. Wintersong's eyes sparked in anger at the sight of the apprentice. But she didn't want to go and barge down there randomly. So she just walked calmly over to where the SkyClan and EarthClan borders met. Her amber eyes swept over the scene. Eagledance was leading Silverpaw away, and the little grey apprentice was hissing at Oakheart in rage. She had just caught his words: "If anything happens to her I'll claw your face off!!" He must love Silverpaw, and he probably thinks she loves him back. I bet she already told him she loved him," Wintersong thought to herself, seeing by the was Silverpaw was speaking calmly to the grey apprentice. The ginger spotted she-cat just sat there, watching. Arching a brow, his smile widened. Eagledance hadn't apologized; it was cute how Silverpaw tried to understand his language. Softness filtered through his body as he lead her far from the others--still in sight, however far from hearing range. They needed to be almost completely alone.
Thoughts of all sizes and shapes shifted into his mind, slipping into a knot that was intangible to his conscious third-eye. Muscles bound together in slight tension, the hot feeling of lightness lifting his body, golden coat undulating with excitement he could not handle. Finally, the chance alone with the most beautiful she-cat his eagle eyes had ever witnessed had come. His feelings unfurled.
"Sil'erpaw," he breathed, a crooked smile allowing his tawny gaze to rest upon those crystalline eyes of hers. As smoothly as his smile had come, it went, and his eyes flickered downwards to the earth they shared. "I'm 'fraid I con't see ye anymore. It's hard t' explain, but some'ow Maplestar knew that we 'ad seen eachother an'..." Eagledance balked and something in his gaze reflected a feeling near shame; the distrust in his new clan had broken him somehow.
"I con't stop thinkin' about ye! You're th' mos' beautiful creature I've e'er laid eyes on, Sil'erpaw. I know it's diff'rent 'ere with some o' the code regulations 'n all, an' it's all so strange t'me. I need t' see you, an' I con't bring Oak'eart down with me. 'E said he'd keep this one a secret, but I'm 'fraid for 'im if 'e e'er gets found out. I jus'... I'm so confused." The scottish-tongued, african-blooded feline slanted his long ears downwards, stature drooping ever so slightly.

Silverpaw&Bravepaw walking.through.the.pawsteps.of.fate
Her heart thudding, Silverpaw padded farther away from Bravepaw and Oakheart and sat down in front of Eagledance once they were definitely alone. Being here with him, so close she could feel the warmth from his body seeping into her, it was hard to keep her mind from growing hazy.
"Sil'erpaw, I'm 'fraid I con't see ye anymore. It's hard t' explain, but some'ow Maplestar knew that we 'ad seen eachother an'..."
Confusion laced through the silver feline's crystalline blue eyes, what did he mean why this? Maplestar knew that they saw each other that one day? B-But it was an accident we met in the first place! She wailed in her mind, It wasn't our fault! All you did was help me back to the border...
I jus'... I'm so confused."
As soon as the first two sentences flew by her ears, Silverpaw grew rigid, her eyes wide with pleasent surprise. As the large golden tom continued on she lost some of her joy, and she let out a ragged sigh, her eyes dimming.
"Eagledance, I couldn't stop thinking about you too," she whispered quietly, "I know the Warrior code forbids it and I feel awful whenever Bravepaw and I are alone-- he loves me too." Silverpaw closed her eyes, "As much as I hate to admit it, I think you're right... it just makes me upset because we can't see each other though, we met by accident so its not totally our fault." No wonder Oakheart was so quiet, he knew the secret too, this was just getting out of their paws. "I'm just as puzzled as you are b-but please," Silverpaw gazed at him with wanting, "can't we see each other one more time? Maybe at the brink of our territories? Please, Eagledance..."
The one moment she was hoping for-- to hear that he had the desire to see her too had been crushed within heartbeats. Oh StarClan... is it really so wrong for two cats of different Clans to be together? Why does the Warrior code have to be so harsh?

Oakheart's ear twitched at the sound of a new set of paws, without even turning his head he knew it was Wintersong, alarm flared briefly through him. Er, play it cool? He suggested to himself before getting to his paws and padding forward to greet her. "Hello Wintersong, we heard these two apprentices by the border and decided to check things out. Eagledance is just asking Silverpaw, that SkyClan she-cat, a few questions since seeing her from the last Gathering."
The tabby warriors flicked his tail, suddenly wondering why she was out here, of all places in the entire EarthClan territory. "What are you doing over here anyway?" Oakheart asked.

[[ooc;;]]Er, when did this become a private board...?
[[bic;;]]Wintersong shuffled her paws as Oakheart spoke to her, then stopped and lifted her chin up a bit. She had as much right to be here as anyone else, right? She was on the EarthClan side.
"I was just walking along the lake to... think," the she-cat answered him. "And I saw all of you. I know about Eagledance and Silverpaw. Or at least a little," she said more quietly, in case any other EarthClan cats came near. Wintersong debated on whether to tell Oakheart that she loved Eagledance. But he probably wouldn't care, would he? She gazed at the exotic golden tom with true affection sparkling in her eyes. [/size]
