"Hi," Viridianpaw responded to the she-cat apprentice, following her gaze to Inkpaw and Dreampaw whom had returned from taking a short walk on the ridge. Her expression seemed a little... saddened, and that instantly caused hurt to pass through Viridianpaw's mind. Was she still hankering after Inkpaw? Did that mean she didn't truly care about him? With his head drooping at an angle, he looked down at the ground.

"Do you love me, Dreampaw?" the obsidian colored tomcat apprentice asked the silver tabby she-cat, meeting her multi-colored gaze evenly with his own bright hazelnut eyes. He let a purr sound in the air, crisp and clear as he touched his pelt firmly to Dreampaw's, true affectino glimmering in his eyes as he looked at the she-cat.
"How many times do I have to repeat it?" Dreampaw asked, although she truly wasn't angry at Inkpaw. Meeting his gaze fully, she responded, "Yes." With that, she let a purr tremble in her chest for a few moments before letting it sound in the air, tenderness and affection embedded within it as it came out.
Inkpaw gazed at Dreampaw with such a rush of love in his eyes that it almost made Dreampaw twitch with being uncomfortable. However, she didn't pull away, but attempted to meet his gaze. The beautiful silver tabby pelt... The bright green and blue gaze... Her voice, so harmonious, so soft and gentle... All these thoughts ran through Inkpaw's mind as he looked at Dreampaw.

Even though the white apprentice had attempted to reassure Viridianpaw, by the way she was making a show of herself in front of Inkpaw frustrated him. With his head lowered in an even more increased angle, he padded away. Staring at the ground, he eventually bumped into another cat. Looking up, he could see that it was Aspenwind. "Aspenwind?" he meowed, looking up at his mother.
"Viridianpaw," she responded, her tone kind and gentle as she looked at her son, running her tongue over the top of his head, trying to soothe him. "It's all right. Things can take time -- don't expect them to happen overnight," she meowed, a wise expression written across her features as she spoke to her son.
--x
Inkpaw gave a nod. He knew that it had been a little curt, but he didn't exactly quite care at this moment. Dreampaw had just repeated her love for him, and he had no reason to doubt her currently. Wrapping his tail around and having it entwin with Dreampaw's, he let yet another purr sound in the air, ignoring Lilypaw.
Dreampaw flicked her ears in acknowledgement of Lilypaw's greeting. "Hello," she meowed. The silver tabby she-cat apprentice couldn't help but let out another purr as Inkpaw's tail became entangled with hers, although she was careful not to have the two get so tangled that they wouldn't be able to become undone.

Oceanwing padded around Camp, having nothing to do. A purr played in her throat as she saw Dreampaw and Inkpaw -- her son -- seated together. So he's finally managed to catch her. she thought to herself, amusement creeping over her features. Moving onward, she poked her head briefly into the warrior's den. Ravenfeather and Azalealeaf's scents had mingled in here for a few moments before leaving. Interesting.
After a while of searching, the calico cat caught sight of Ravenfeather, her other son, seated with Azalealeaf, a white she-cat belonging to SkyClan, obviously. Looks like both of them are doing well in the area of love. she thought to herself, another purr coming out into the air, pure laughter hiding within it.

Mistheart spotted Onespot and Honeypaw together, Onespot grooming the apprentice. Her eyes burned with curiousity and she looked slightly excited. She trotted over to the two and purred. "You two look cozy," she meowed jokingly. The gray she-cat looked at Honeypaw. "You really need to teach me how you stopped him from being such a sulky furball." Mistheart flicked her ears at Onespot, silently telling him she was only teasing.

As Mai groomed herself, she became aware of eyes burning into her pelt (figuratively, of course, not physically). Looking up shyly, she spotted Cloudpuff's golden copper gaze boring into her as she ran her tongue over each of her dainty paws and turned her head to give her cream colored fur a few licks. Suddenly, she felt as self-conscious as ever. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a tomcat licking a she-cat's fur, affection gleaming in both of their eyes. As Mai's sapphire blue gaze drifted over in Cloudpuff's direction, she caught her breath as she matched up the affection and tenderness showing in those two cat's eyes with the same type of affection and tenderness that gleamed in Cloudpuff's eyes.
So that was what it was -- the pelt brushing, the rasping of his tongue over her ear -- she had only been here for a few hours and now the tomcat who had been assigned to teach her to fight was falling for her? Uncomfortably, Mai shifted in her position, trying to ignore and forget the fact that Cloudpuff was looking at her with such a mixture of pride and tenderness in his gaze. After a while, she stole a quick glance in his direction to see if she had perhaps mistaken that it was there, but when she looked, it was there, truly and honestly.
--x
She was pretty, that was for certain. Not only looks, however, drew Cloudpuff to her -- it was her personality, her quietness and her shyness, it was just everything she did was something that he liked. Her movements, the way she didn't seem to shrink away from him whenever he touched his pelt to hers... Cloudpuff continued gazing at Mai with a lovesick expression on his face, although he was oblivious to the fact that Mai was slightly uncomfortable underneath his tender gaze.

Honeypaw looked up at Mistheart, still purring as Onespot ran his tongue over her shoulder. She wondered if Onespot would be embarressed or angry that Mistheart had commented and found then like this, although she was only joking. Honeypaw knew that Onespot could be short-tempered at times, but now things had changed...
Lilypaw looked at Inkpaw and Dreampaw, affection growind in her eyes and snooyance at Dreampaw showing by twitching her tail back and forth. She whispered to Inkpaw, "I still love you, and I always will", and walked to the fresh kill pile, her long tail trailing on the ground, and her small, light steps bringing her to bump into Oceanwing, Inkpaw's mother. She looked up at her, her pale azure colored eyes filled with distress.

Inkpaw ignored the apprentice's comment completely, partially because he hadn't exactly heard the whole entire thing. He purred at Dreampaw, affection gleaming in his spirited hazelnut colored eyes as he gazed at the silver tabby she-cat apprentice. "You're beautiful, did you know that?" he purred to Dreampaw.
"Mouse-brain," Dreampaw responded, although tenderness in her tone took the sharp edge to her voice, "like you haven't told me the past... million days?" She let a purr sound after Inkpaw's, leaning her head against Inkpaw's shoulder. In the light, her emerald and sapphire colored eyes danced with affection for the sometimes conceited and frustrating tomcat. Indeed, there would obviously be times in which they disagreed in the future, but they would take all the obstacles set out for them one by one.
--x
Viridianpaw, seeing Lilypaw speak to Inkpaw, sent a venemous glare in Inkpaw's direction. It had all been a lie -- Lilypaw didn't like him at all! Breaking free from Aspenwind's grasp, he darted out of Camp. Aspenwind wanted to chase after her son and try to soothe him, but thought that the best technique to calm him down was to let him be alone for a few moments. She watched as Viridianpaw dashed through every source of liquid on the ridge so that his scent was completely masked and no cat could follow him.
--x
Oceanwing looked at Lilypaw, understanding flashing through her eyes as she looked at the apprentice. "I can't help you in this situation. Inkpaw will do what his mind says no matter what," she meowed not unkindly. Even though her words probably weren't as sensitive as the apprentice wanted them to be, the gaze that she looked at Lilypaw with told everything she couldn't put into words.

"And why does she have to love him back? And why does Viridianpaw love you, then?" Oceanwing asked, reminding the she-cat of the tomcat apprentice whom had just dashed out of Camp. "Think about it. Why does anyone ever love anyone else? Why did I love Inkpaw and Ravenfeather's father? Why does Inkpaw love Dreampaw? Why does Dreampaw love Inkpaw? Why does Azalealeaf fancy Ravenfeather so much and probably vice versa?" she meowed, tilting her head to the side. "Consider it." she added shortly.

I will never be afraid again.
Upon re-opening his multi-hued eyes, the warrior flicked his strong neck backwards with a start, pupils dilating. Long, moon-dipped ears pivoted forwards as he stared at the surroundings around him. Heather was dappled everywhere, a long ridge stood across from him as a hard wind ruffled his pitch-black coat. He stood, unsure of what had just happened. He had been thinking--rather pensively--and woke up here. Blinking, horror struck him. This was SkyClan's territory.
His chest beat with newly-awakened haste, long shoulder blades working swiftly as he dolphined through the rocky ledge and into the crevice that cradled the camp. Misty-gray eyes were ablaze with fear and freedom, having not ran at speeds such as these since his days of living.
He was the fastest cat in the two Clans again.
Moonrun came to camp and leaped over some dawdling felines. Powerfully-bound muscles contracted as he leaped over the diva, whom was talking solemnly with a new member that he did not recognize. "Foxflower!" he shuoted, his voice high and loud with recognition. Was he alive? Had he been reincarnated somehow?
She did not answer.
"Foxflower?" The tom's brows furrowed. Why was she not answering. He gave her a nudge with his moon-toed forepaw, and she did move, but acted like nothing had happened and kept smiling to the rogue. Moonrun's ridge of fur along his obsidian neck began to rise with unease. "Foxflower!" he shouted.; still no avail.
He bolted, and in his thick confusion and bumped into several clanmates. Whipping around, he stumbled backwards, blue eye burning with shock and dense confusion. He halted and stopped short in front of two apprentices talking, one purring apathetically to the other. A tom and a she-cat; Dreampaw and Inkpaw, he recognized. However with this he released a long pant, swallowed, and blinked.
The leader was walking towards the two apprentices. Moonrun stood just beside the obsidian tom apprentice, his eyes wide in awe as he watched the silver she-cat leader pad up to them with elegance that simply could not be matched.

Inkpaw looked up as he felt Dreampaw's lithe and dainty muscles tense up underneath her silver tabby fur. There, he saw Northstar approaching them. Even though having the leader of SkyClan come to them was scary enough, something made the hairs on Inkpaw's neck raise up. It was as if there was some... ethereal prescense standing nearby. Looking around wildly, he dismissed it for just the cold once he had given up on the search.
"It's okay, Dreampaw. I don't think we've broken any of Northstar's commands in what she said about my punishment," he purred reassuringly to the silver tabby she-cat apprentice. Looking into Inkpaw's hazelnut colored eyes, Dreampaw saw that he truly believe in what he told her. She sent a melodic purr in response to Inkpaw.
"All right, if you say so," she responded, returning her head back to it's position on lying on Inkpaw's shoulder. Her tail once flicked around her petite frame and entwined with Inkpaw's, although she felt rather odd of doing such behavior in front of Northstar.

Onespot looked like he was about to say something. He had paused in his grooming of Honeypaw and had his mouth open. Suddenly he stopped. He thought about what he was going to say for a moment or two then meowed, "I guess she just has the magic touch." He grinned at Mistheart's slightly stunned expression and resumed grooming the honey-colored she-cat.
"Alrighty then," Mistheart meowed disbelievingly. "I guess Flamefoot really meant it when she said you actually were nice before you grew up." She skirted around saying what had really happened and plowed on. "You seem lucky Honeypaw." She nodded her head to the two and trotted away, glancing over her shoulder once at the now happy Onespot, her eyes glimmering with amusement. She shook her head and trotted away.

Honeypaw purred as Onespo said his words. She got up from where he was grooming her. She had seen that something was wrong when Mistheart said her best froends name. "I'll be back", she mewed to Onespot, and walked up to Mistheart.
"Mistheart, whats wrong?" She mewed, concern passing through her leaf-green eyes. "What happened with you and Flamefoot?"
Lilapw's eyes flashe with anger at Oceanwing's unsensitive words, for Lilypaw was a very sensitive cat. "So, what am I supposed to do about it?"She ratorted. "Just because Inkpaw loves Dreampaw, doesnt mean its meant to be!" She snapped, anger towards Dreampaw and affection towards Inkpaw flashing in her azure colored eyes. She met Ocenwings calm gaze evenly, ready for any scolding she got from her.

"Are you saying then it was /you/ meant to love Inkpaw? I don't hold the power of StarClan within my grasp," Oceanwing responded simply. "I can't change how he feels and who he loves," she added, stealing a glance in Inkpaw and Dreampaw's direction and seeing them both cooing to each other with purrs and gentle words.

"Maybe it /was/ me who was meant to love Inkpaw, not Dreampaw", Lilypaw mewed determidely. "You'll see, Inkpaw'll love me one day and that's that!" Lilypaw turned away from Inkpaw's mother, and went towards the fresh-kill pile, picking out a vole. She walked over to Inkpaw, placing the vole in front of him. "Do you want to share?" She asked Inkpaw, making her voice smooth and sweet as honey.

"No," Inkpaw hissed shortly in response to the newcoming she-cat apprentice. "You have to learn to let a cat's own path shape itself. You have to learn /not/ to follow me around and you need to just leave me alone!" he spat, anger flashing through his hazelnut colored eyes. His ears pressed firmly against his head out of pure agitation and frustration. Why couldn't Lilypaw just leave him and Dreampaw alone for a day or two? Or perhaps for the rest of their lives? He loved Dreampaw and Dreampaw loved him -- didn't Lilypaw know how to /not/ interfere with other cat's relationships? Or was she so selfish that she just had to have everything her way? "A-Alright", Lilypaw mewed, her eyes filling with sadness. "I just wanted you to know that I still love you, and I always will, no matter how much you love Dreampaw, I will always love you more, no matter how many times you get mad at me or call me selfish, I will still love you." Lilypaw pushed the vole between them, and walked away, her tail dragging in the ground. She had made sure Inkpaw had heard her words, sayng them loud enough for eve Dreampaw of cats near them to hear. She walked along until her paws brought her into the ridge.
